DLEGs: Tell Us About Pickleball

One of the trend newsletters I get for work claims that Pickleball revenues (equipment, courts, sponsorships, etc.) is due to skyrocket this year as the sport's popularity with seniors continues to explode.

So do you play? Do your friends? Is it fun?

It's akin to Beer Pong, but with a net and no beer.

I'd rather just play tennis. Pickleball is for alte kakers.

That was the gist of the report R3, that older Americans (aka alter kockers) are fueling its popularity, and as DL is home to many older Americans, I thought I'd ask.

(Side note: I might pay $1K to hear Bernie Sanders refer to Trump as an alter kocker. Extra Points: 99% chance Trump knows what it means.)

An acquaintance of mine has a doctorate - right now he is making money principally as a Pickleball coach. I don't really know what it is but apparently a lot of rich old men in East London will pay to be taught how to play.
