r4 he's a makeup kween who has made MILLION$ of dollars from his Youtube channel and he's only been doing it for 2-3 years, and he's only 20 years old. He certainly makes me jealous but he seems kind of normal for the whole makeup queen scene. He was recently cancelled last year because Tati Westbrook got pissed at him for "betraying her" by selling a rival brand of hair pills or something so she tried to #metoo him and say he was a predator etc., but James Charles slapped her down good with a response video that showed she was a lying duplicitous cunt and clutching at his fame with her withered fingers. Of course she still gained like 4 million new followers from it, making her even more money. Another makeup guru / freak Jeffree Star also piled on, and James Charles showed him for the lying freak he is too (he's the one who just bought a $25 million dollar home and has a vault for his purse collection).

It's lots of stupid drama but I haven't heard of him cancelling anyone.

I should add that he's also very talented. But his fans and Ru Paul's Drag Race's screeching hordes of teen girls who try to cancel everyone overlap with each other. Teen girls are FICKLE.

It was a huge mess and really embarrassing, frankly, for all of them. Keep in mind that JC was 18-19 when this happened and Tati is pushing fifty and she's acting like a spoiled tween. She's a failed actress who is now a "lifestyle guru". Before all that happened JC was one of those gays who would flirt with straight guys and such. Apparently, Star made $18mm from his youtube channel based on how they monetize videos - was number 5 on highest paid youtubers for 2019.

Jeffree Starr has made a fortune on his cosmetics line. He also helps other youtubers with their cosmetics line distribution and gets a cut. His cosmetics are huge moneymakers.

Their battle was humorously mocked on multiple youtube channels. I found it entertaining watching the crying apologies and non-apologies from both sides. Beyond the sheer entertainment value of their back-and-forth, I think they are both exactly what you'd expect from people so invested in the "beauty community."

I watched the summary of their battle, heard each one defend and attack, and decided that that Tati person seemed more credible. Beyond that, the only time I've even given a second thought to either of them is in this thread.
