Just finished this on Hulu. It was pretty bad. You do get to see everyone's naked ass at some point in the movie. Augustus Prew is worth watching.

I feel like Augustus Prew is the Adam Driver of gay actors. He's conventionally unattractive but there is still something alluring about him.

The movie is neither scary nor sexy. The hottest guy is killed in the first 5 minutes. It's mostly a soap opera that turns really melodramatic in the end.

I'll say this -- at least it's coherent. Many gay indies cannot say that. But you won't be entertained or enlightened by this.

I just saw it. It was good, though it was obvious who the killer was early on. A+ for hiring gay actors to play gay characters. Not sure of the sexuality of Logan, but I know the other actors are gay.

Count me as another one who enjoyed Augustus Prew (I also enjoyed Scott Evans more than I thought I would - he tamped down the Harvey Fierstein edge to his voice), though once the script went totally to shit he couldn't come through it completely unscathed. I'm still not entirely clear on the source of the revenge plot. The murderer took being a one night stand so badly that he decided to bump off the entire group?

I liked the look of it. I wasn't surprised to see that the director Carter Smith (is he a Lee Pace ex? The name is familiar) has a background in fashion photography.

It was also refreshing that only the first victim was "gay gorgeous."

I don't think Prew is conventionally unattractive, nor do I think that Self has gone to seed. I think the former is not very vain - he's clearly not an "A-Gay" type - so he often pulls faces in pics.

I watched it (I support all gay male movies) and it wasn’t the worst thing I’d ever seen. I got all the way through it, but I wouldn’t be looking for any Oscar nods if I was them.

It was better than I thought it would be. Nothing great of course, but perfectly watchable. As someone said above it is a competently made movie. I agree that Augustus Prew is one to watch.

Basically r28. Though they tried to give it more oomph by saying he was closet case with no confidence, so his kiss with the character meant so much to him, and he was devastated when it was just part of a meaningless game.

Given that this and the grindhouse-y Hellbent from 2004 are the only gay slashers I'm aware of, we could do worse.

I perused the screenwriters IMDB. He seems to have at least one more gay horror movie in his short resume. A Scandinavian movie, I think.

Just tried to find it, but looks like it doesn't have a distribution deal yet r32. Has only played festivals.
