I was doing some property research related to Beverly Hills, and I noticed that Landon's daddy, Leonard Ross, was given four months to sell Beverly House back in January. I think it's been on and off market for over a decade now, with no buyers. Anyway, that deadline is coming up at the end of May.

It's my understanding that Landon and Julian occupied the guest house when in town, and you'd see photos of them on the grounds entertaining, sometimes a dinner party in the main house as well. Is that still the case, or have they already relocated? The main house would occasionally be leased for special events.

That house is so fancy.

Apparently Ross hasn't found a buyer yet. I wonder if the judge will make a covid19 exception, deadline-wise.

Okay, R278 here again, and I just reviewed the property record, and it appears that, at some point, the portion that I was calling "the guest house" property was actually subdivided and split off from the main Beverly House, and it and two other adjacent subdivisions were given their own assessor id and addresses. This was done by Marion Davies' widower after she died. Then, some time after Landon's daddy bought the place in 1976, he re-acquired these properties, but they were kept as separate properties. So the smaller lot (which is nearly an acre itself) where Landon and Julian have been seen doesn't look to be part of the sale, since the Assessor's Property ID for it is not included in the listing. In past sale attempts, though, it was mentioned that the two properties could be combined, if a buyer wanted both. Apparently, this smaller property was on the market last year and listed as "pre-foreclosure," but was subsequently taken off the market.

Growing up in Beverly House must have been a real trip. Too bad dad had a gambling problem.
