By request, a thread for some real estate porn. To start, the third floor apartment in the1927 coop in 2500 Steiner Street (12 stories, 12 apartments.)
Tasteful friends, a room with a view in San Francisco

To have a newborn baby (nursery) they sure decorated their home like old people.

I am seething with envy. Seething.
They just need to bomb the playground, and it would be perfect.

I’m slightly disappointed- some of the rooms are on the dinky side. If I lived there, I would be crazy envious of the views of the higher floor apartments. Judging from the pics, I think the apt. below penthouse is the most spectacular with the highest ceilings.

That "kitchen" though.

No matter the building, and upward interior shots, a third-floor flat does not have airy open views. Big money or a lo loot .. no. A floor up top in 2500 Steiner could be lovely.

Beautiful! Luxurious! Yet comfortable and liveable!
Of course it's still San Francisco outside those lovely doors, where I wouldnt live even if I could afford to. If I had $7+ mil to spend, I'd get a nice condo in Marin, and set up a bolthole outside the US.

I love Pacific Heights. That's exactly where I'd want to live in San Francisco. And so close to Fillmore and all the great shops and cafes. Really nice although the apartment itself isn't as impressive as one would think.

If I had truly mega bucks I'd get a great house in Sea Cliff with amazing view of the bay.. I'd also want a weekend cottage in Carmel.
All of that would be a hell of a lot more than $7 mil

I don't cook much so the kitchen is perfect for me.

I do not see any human crap outside the front entry. If I am paying that kind of money for a San Francisco joint, I want the telltale signs that I am rich and don't give a rat's ass.

I can't afford it....

A new show started tonight called 100 Day Dream Home. I really liked the married couple. They build someone their dream home in 100 days. From the ground up including all the finishes and furniture
The husband is cute and both have fun personalities. Nothing cloying like with the Fixer Upper couple.

What floor will it be after the earthquake?

Even the yoga balls were tasteful.

Is there a place outside the entrance to the building for residents to wash down human fecal matter from their shoes?

Very pleasant but for that money I'd prefer a place that doesn't need discretion whiteout panels on windows.
