Yes, I do. However, after watching too many videos, my tingles went away (I was desensitized to it). It takes a month or two of abstaining from watching for the tingles to return. The videos are still calming and pleasant to watch regardless of whether I get tingles, though.

What I like are the videos that show processes, like cooking, in closeup and with natural sounds.

I love ASMR. I'm also not ashamed to admit the erotic component. Ultimately, for me, the sound is king. If your audio's not clear and you don't know what you're doing, it doesn't matter how attractive you are, I won't watch your videos. The good thing is that a lot of the top male ASMR creators are actually good at what they do. All the artists from OP to R2 are regular go-to's for me. There are a lot of other ones though.

Like r6, I lost my tingles years ago... prolonged exposure, I assume, will do that to you, but every once in a while a sound will hit the right frequency or something, and my body will feel it. For the most part though, I just find the sounds relaxing in an almost meditative way. I like to get high and watch them, usually while I'm editing photographs or something. I also use them for sleep.

I'm not proud to admit that I am an ASMR addict, have been for almost 4 years now.

I’ve never gotten asmr tingles, but there are certain (rare) voices that can put me into a trance. I remember my male technology teacher’s voice in 7th grade could do it and a woman who was in her 60s (friend of a friend’s mother) had the same effect. Not sexual at all, just deeply meditative and relaxed, felt safe and cozy. Maybe 1 in 1,000 people I meet or fewer have that vocal quality and I’ve always wondered what it is that puts me into a very relaxed, deep trancelike state.

The asmr people can relax me, but that’s it—no trance. I don’t care for the visual elements, just the sound.
