Best Lotion/Cream/Moisturizer for Dry Hands/Feet
If anyone will know this...
Every winter my hands and feet get very dry and chapped, sometimes the skin on my heels and thumbs even cracks.
I started using Working Hands (see link) at a friend's recommendation and it works okay, but wondering, given DLers encyclopedic knowledge of lotions and potions, there was anything else worth trying.
Thanks!

You sure it's dry skin and not eczema? Cold weather can cause eczema flare ups.

No, just dry skin. It's not flaky or red or anything.
The O'Keefes works, it's just kind of greasy

I like Trader Joe's Head to Toe balm. It's seasonal so I stock up and use it year round on my feet.

I really love Weleda Skin Food. It's not cheap, but with regular consistent use it works wonders on my prone-to-dry hands. It heals small dry cracks overnight sometimes. It's the closest thing I know to a miracle product.

R8, now you have me wanting to try that stuff. There are some Weleda moisturizers that contain alcohol, but this one doesn’t. Good!
I have a tube the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream, but I’ll try it.
My favorite thing is good old petroleum jelly, though. On super-cold and windy days, I’ll rub a smidge on my cheeks. It doesn’t make them shiny and doesn’t make me break out, and it’s a good barrier. And it’s the cheapest thing. Good before bedtime on hands and feet.

Second R6. But the absolute best I've found is pure Lanolin. (100% natural. from sheep's wool.) It's sticky and gooey, but it totally works. Apply after a shower. Use occasionally.

For very dry regions (like Colorado), I used eucarin (the kind that came thick in a tub like crisco.). My brother and sister in law (who I recommended it to) will use nothing else..

r12, we just discovered Walmart's Equate version of Eucerin has been discontinued. That has been our go to face cream for decades and we are devastated.
