Iowa Democratic Black Caucus claps back at Julián Castro

After he'd been complaining for a month or so that Iowa is too white to go first.

[quote]Unfortunately, when we find individuals who do not garner the support they were striving for... the real question should be: If the individual was in the top three, would this even be an issue?

Thoroughly burned, honey. And they're right, he had nothing to say about the primary order right until the moment he failed to qualify for the debates because his polling was so abysmal.

This was in response to him holding a forum on this issue in Iowa, basically telling Iowans to their faces why Iowa shouldn't go first.

Yes, this piece I'm linking to here is pretty vicious, but it's also a nice short write-up of just how complex this question of the primary state order really is. Highly recommended read. Went in convinced the order should be changed, but now I'm not so certain anymore.
