Pretrial proceedings revealed the couple’s $230,000 monthly spending, which enabled $12,000 splurges for cigars and $7,000 for fountain pens.

Giuliani needed this out of the way before much more serious charges and troubles fall on him.
Judith had him by the metaphorical balls.

How much did Rudy spend at La Perla and Chicos?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 11, 2019 2:56 PM |
SO now we know why Rudy has been doing ass his batshit crazy stuff---the money. He has a $230,000/month habit

Unadulterated greed. Makes the Clintons look like Mother Theresa. Never enough - like a true narcissist. Hope Judith gets a huge chunk.

Does Rudy get to keep his dresses and wigs?

I cannot even imagine what his breath smells like with $12G of cigars a month.

This was the sidepiece he was running around New York with his last year as Mayor while still married to Donna Hanover, correct? What a tragedy for it to end this way. Who could have seen this coming?

Judith looks like Meg Tilly in R1.
What a bunch of cretins.

She better get as much as she can before he goes to jail. After that, he will claim no income.

R10
Worse that that; then mayor Rudy G. had to be prevented by court order from forcing said "sidepiece" upon then Mrs. Donna Hanover Giuliani in her own home and that of her children.
All of New York knew about Rudy G. and his bit of stuff from Yorkville, but things were kept out of media for a while, but when story hit it that was that. Each day things just got better and better. The "People's Mayor", hero of 9/11/01, who met the Queen a common philanderer, and apparently a piece of nasty work far as his then wife and children were concerned.
Things only got better when it came out that Rudy Giuliani's police commissioner and BFF was up to things as well. Using apartments in Ground Zero area vacated due to 9/11/01 for trysts with his mistress.
When Mrs. Donna Hanover Giuliani finally put her husband out, he fled to his best friend and out gay and successful businessman Howard Koeppel, who arranged temporary accommodations. At the time in expression of gratitude Rudy G told Mr. Koeppel that if SSM ever became legal in NYS he would perform the union of Howard Koeppel and his long time partner Mark Hsiao personally. That was until gay marriage did become legal in NYS, at which point Rudy G. had a change of heart and told his friend "no".
Have no sympathy for Judith Giuliani, this was her husband's third marriage (all previous ended in divorce), that alone would cause any sane woman's ears to perk up. She gleefully played Anne Boleyn to Donna Hanover's Catherine of Aragon as Rudy G. treated his then wife shamefully.

Apparently, it's settled... She is free of him, but not whatever cash she got. It's all so gross. Who wouldn't want a settlement for being with such a grotesque, faux-important, yet doddering man?
Oh, wait, she wasn't forced and she moved into Gracie Mansion while the Ghoul was still married to Donna Hanover and still had their two kids living in the house? Imagine that, the New York taxpayers provide accommodations for both the mayor, his wife and kids, and the lover who moved in.

NEW YORK — In a tactical defeat for Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, a judge ruled Monday that he may not bring his girlfriend to visit the official mayoral residence while his estranged wife and their children continue to live there. The court also refused to issue a gag order in the first couple’s increasingly nasty--and public--divorce case. Donna Hanover, Giuliani’s wife, had sought a temporary restraining order against Judith Nathan--saying that her visits to Gracie Mansion would be disruptive. The mayor disagreed, arguing that portions of the city-owned residence are public places where he could bring Nathan.
New York State Supreme Court Justice Judith Gische recognized that the mayor’s two children eventually would meet Nathan--especially if he remains close to his new friend. But Gische said there is “no public or governmental interest” in bringing Nathan to Gracie Mansion.

Donna Hanover/Rudy Giuliani mess was like something out of "The Women".
As one stated, it provided endless fodder for gossip rags and wagging tongues in NYC (if not elsewhere) for months.
Everyone knew RG was a beast; but exact extent wasn't entirely clear, until the divorce brought everything out into open.
