Nicole has one of the best voices in the business but I guess only Beyoncé can dance and sing live for a whole set.

Nicole's voice is amazing. I saw a video of her singing from Evita for Andrew Lloyd Webber and she was just incredible. I had no idea she had such range. She's completely underrated. She ought to be huge. She dances well too. She ought to have her own show on Broadway. If the damned producers had any sense of high quality they'd mount one of those live productions of a musical for television and feature her.

Nicole will never top her performance on the X Factor a few years ago when she did a duet with (eventual winner) Sam Bailey to "And I Am Telling You" from Dreamgirls. She was un-fucking-believable and stole the show from the contestant. I don't know why she's not had a bigger career as a solo singer tbh, it's definitely not due to talent.

R3 she probably lacks the ambition, drive and self confidence needed! Otherwise she would have been one of the biggest stars of this era. When she went solo everyone thought she was gonna be a superstar. She should have been able to breakout of PCD like Beyoncé, Justin, Diana Ross, MJ, Lionel, etc broke out of their groups and had solo success.

Nicole > Beyoncé, any day of the week.

Like R4, I've always wondered why her career hasn't ever taken off. For better or worse, her success is tied to the Pussycat Dolls (even if that group was built around her to begin with). She needs to just accept that she is stuck with the group.

Nicole is just lovely!! She has a voice to die for, can dance and is easy on the eyes too. Her lack of popularity - especially in America - baffles me.

ALW doesn't like her anymore since she left hua Broadway show to go judge Xfactor. Later when she wanted to audition for Jennifer's part in Cats live action movie he didn't let her. Things between those two must have really cooled off!

R5 perhaps she needed a Svengali. Beyoncé and MJ had their fathers, Diana had Berry Gordy, Whitney had Clive and Mariah had Tommy Motola. If not a Svengali at least a very strong supporter - Madonna had her brother and even Jlo had Benny Medina.

I'm firmly of the belief that her career was sabotaged at various stages. If she had a Svengali, someone with enough clout to navigate the minefields, she might have done better, but she is pretty awesome. I often wonder if maybe Simon Cowell could do something for her. then again maybe she is hard-headed and doesn't listen to good advice. I love her. Andrew Lloyd Webber was lucky to have her. He's an asshole supreme, and I hated CATS.

R10 yeah she seems like someone who would not listen or take advice. She could have benefited from a strong manager type or a visionary person who could guide her. People often forget how much Christopher Ciccone influenced Madonna’s career silently in the background inspiring her, feeding her ego and cleaning up after her. Artists really need cheerleaders in their corner rooting for them.

She could have been up there with any 4 girls. The only one who got a close-up was Nicole, which is to be expected. She's looking a bit injected in the face, but the body is still snatched. Most of it sounded lip-synced, and did not excite me. So I wouldn't say they "killed." It comes off more as a last ditch effort for Nicole to resurrect her singing career.

I hope the others girls will sing in the new album.

It's funny to see the choreography, vocals, and camera shots still all centered on Nicole. In other groups they get turns to be in the spotlight but with TPD it's all Nicole.

R5 no she certainly never lacked ambition. She actually got the reputation of being tough to work with in both Eden's Crush and Pussycat Dolls because she wanted to do ALL the leads. The management usually gave her the leads but some of the bandmates got pissed. There's 1 I think PCD named Melody? She refused to reunite at the X-Factor because she didn't get much chance to sing lead. Nicole is better though

I'm not sure why Nicole's career didn't take off as a solo act. She had everything needed. Her music never caught on. She had a couple popular features like that "Come To Me" song with Diddy but her solo stuff flopped in the US. It's unfortunate. She's like 41 now so her time is up though

This made me laugh. If there is one thing that Nicole does not lack, it is ambition. This woman would sell her family into slavery in exchange for 10 more minutes of camera time.

I think Nicole ironically lacked the x factor to be a solo artist. She had the right look and vocals but her music and videos were so bland and she was just uninteresting as an act. Plus she was too old by the time she went solo to really appeal that teen/early 20 market.

It really is sad that Nicole needs the pussy cat dolls brand and backup dancers to be relevant.

Always hated that only Nicole got to sing a bunch, considering that the other ladies do have talent. Always felt bad for Carmit especially, who really helped the group and kept it together.
