Mine was Biden, 88%.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 1, 2019 3:42 PM |
John Delaney & Amy Klobuchar are my top 2. Trump, though, is #6, well above my (current) choice, Buttigieg.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 1, 2019 3:44 PM |
Julian Castro or Kamala Harris. I don't think so. I'm more Sanders/Warren.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 1, 2019 3:49 PM |
Elizabeth Warren @93%. Hmmmm
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 1, 2019 3:50 PM |
Castro and Harris too. I am more a Warren type of voter.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 1, 2019 3:51 PM |
Mine were:
Harris: 96%
Castro: 95%
Buttigieg: 95% <- my chosen candidate
Warren: 94%

Kamela and Pete @ 94% Julian @ 93% . Hmmmm
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 1, 2019 3:54 PM |
Kamala, 96%.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 1, 2019 3:54 PM |
Klobuchar - 85%
Delaney - 84%
Yang - 82%
Trump last at 47%
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 1, 2019 4:13 PM |
I forgot to do top 5:
Klobuchar - 87%
Booker - 85%
Biden - 83%
Pete - 83%
Delaney - 83%
Yang - 83%
Trump was last at 32%
I'm surprised that Booker scored so high and I had not even considered Delaney or Yang. What was even more surprising to me was that Bernie and Williamson each scored 80% for me.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 1, 2019 4:34 PM |
Pete and Kamala, both 95%.
I matched Marianne Williamson closer than I matched Biden, and I don't know how I feel about that.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 1, 2019 4:36 PM |
Interesting, OP. My results:
90% Warren, first place
88% Buttigieg, seventh place.
16% Trump , 17th place (last place)
I didn’t see anything about margin of error; however, my top seven candidates all lie between 88%-90% and it’s hard to believe that the difference of 2% is significant.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 1, 2019 4:39 PM |
My top three - Castro, Buttigieg, Warren. Trump was at the very bottom of my list.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 1, 2019 4:50 PM |
I got Biden and Delaney as my top 2 and Sanders and Warren as the last two.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 1, 2019 5:01 PM |
Buttigieg & Kamala: 93%
Sanders & Castro: 92%
Warren: 91%
MARIANNE WILLIAMSON: 91%
...and then...
Biden: 80%
Trump: 16%
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 1, 2019 5:02 PM |
Andrew Yang at 91%, which is not surprising since I first began supporting his campaign when I heard him on a Sam Harris podcast well over a year ago.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 1, 2019 5:03 PM |
Julian Castro, 93 percent
However, electability is the most important quality for me this election, so I will not be voting for Castro.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 1, 2019 5:19 PM |
Delaney (who?) and Klobuchar were the top two, but I think this was skewed a bit as I didn't use emphasis on which issues matter.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 1, 2019 5:25 PM |
My top three were Kamala, Castro, and Pete.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 1, 2019 5:28 PM |

96% Kamala Harris
by Anonymous | reply 24 | December 1, 2019 5:38 PM |
92% Bernie Sanders (yuck), Julian Castro 91% Pete Buttigieg 90% Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Marianne Williamson 88% Amy Klobuchar 85% Joe Biden = my chosen candidate. Because all I care about is getting Trump (7%) out of office.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 1, 2019 5:38 PM |
Andrew Yang at 75%
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 1, 2019 5:45 PM |
I had no idea there was a "More" option, so I clicked it. I match with Trump 4%. And that seems high to me.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 1, 2019 6:36 PM |
First time around it was Castro, but I didn’t answer all the questions. So I went back, second time it was a tie for Bernie (no way in hell), and Klobuchar. How can those two represent the same thing? Third was my choice, Buttigieg. Last was Trump.
In real life, I’m not voting for Bernie under any circumstances. I would vote for Klobuchar if she was the nominee, but she’s not my choice. Kamala was sixth (ahem, no), and Biden was seventh.
In real life it would be Buttigieg first, Biden second. I’m a moderate.
Castro is unelectable. I have to wonder who is determining the qualities of these candidates. There’s no mention of age, health, or acknowledgement that some of them are full of it, or wildly inconsistent. They seem to be blindly accepting whatever the campaigns say. That’s not accurate. It seemed slanted really pro-Bernie. Bernie is described as “honesty, determination and integrity.” Well, he’s determined, that’s about it. A hard no.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | December 1, 2019 6:41 PM |
[quote]How can those two represent the same thing?
I'm supporting Pete, Biden, and Klobuchar, but the truth is very little separates the democratic candidates. They may disagree on some key policy points, but for the most part they tend to be on the same page more often than they're not. The candidate you support in the primary usually is about other things, like how they make you feel or how much they inspire you.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | December 1, 2019 6:48 PM |
Sanders took my top spot followed by Castro.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | December 1, 2019 6:56 PM |
There is something decidedly off about that poll.
While I could buy 80% on Andrew Yang, a three-way (and not in the good way) between Amy, Tulsi, and Pete is laughable.
I disagree so frequently with virtually all public statements made by Amy and Tulsi that I have to question the underlying models that produced it.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | December 1, 2019 8:12 PM |
Here is the Washington Post version of the test.
My top 5 in this one are:
Biden - 8
Pete - 7
Klobuchar - 7
Steyer - 6
Yang - 5
by Anonymous | reply 32 | December 1, 2019 8:39 PM |
Almost too close to call:
Pete 91% (My current choice, though can still change my mind.)
Julian 91%
Kamala 90%
Tulsi 89%
Elizabeth 89%
by Anonymous | reply 33 | December 1, 2019 8:52 PM |
Mine:
87% Cory Booker
83% Andrew Yang, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris
81% Biden, Klobuchar
No matter who the Democrats field, I will vote for her/him over that racist, sexist, irresponsible imbecile.

92% Warren. Predictable and true.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 1, 2019 8:59 PM |
I got Harris & Castro @93%
Then Pete and Warren @92%.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | December 1, 2019 9:04 PM |
It's embarrassing to live in a country where, after all that's happened, 26% of people who took this poll are still Trumpsters.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 1, 2019 9:06 PM |
Surprisingly, Pete at 88% followed by Amy at 85%. I was going to vote for Warren.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | December 1, 2019 9:11 PM |
Don't worry, r38, AI has preprogrammed bias. I got Klobouchar 87%, Bernie at 84% and third were Kamala and Biden at 82%.
But anybody would be better than than soul sucking void of morality in the White House.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | December 1, 2019 9:17 PM |
Mayor Pete then Kamala Harris. They were my choices in the beginning and I still stick with Pete. For my Representative it only offered Repugnants and no Dems, even if my current Rep is a Dem. As for President I wonder if people like the idea of someone, but haven’t dug into what they supposedly stand for. Scarily Williamson was my 3rd, I imagine I should go in for a psychiatric examination stat.

Castro 92
Warren 90
Harris 90
Buttigieg 90
If I wanted an annoying old man to rail and shake his finger at me for 4 years, I'd move in with my father. No to Sanders, because of the way he undercut H. Clinton. I'm for Warren or Buttigieg, and this quiz made me consider Castro for the first time.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 1, 2019 10:19 PM |
Wouldn't it be interesting to put up a site like that for deplorables, then have all the models come back with dem candidates for whom they should vote.
Such a site could easily manipulate the unwary into thinking that a candidate holds similar views when in reality, it's not even close.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 1, 2019 10:21 PM |
My highest in both versions was Amy Klobuchar. I wasn’t really considering voting for her, because she’s not polling very well. But I do agree with her on almost every issue, so I might actually vote for her.
My lowest ranked of the Democratic candidates was Biden. Which isn’t surprising, because I don’t think there’s any way I would vote for him.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | December 1, 2019 10:24 PM |
I don't know how legit this quiz is. I answered about 60 questions (I couldn't take any more).
I got Marianne Williamson at 92%, with Liz Warren at 91%.
Yeah, no. There are not such thin margins between those two.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | December 1, 2019 10:26 PM |
My highest in the WaPo quiz was Tom Steyer for some bizarre reason.
I don't dislike him. I don't dislike really any of them besides Tulsi, but Warren, who is my preferred candidate followed closely by Pete, was one of my lowest.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | December 1, 2019 10:28 PM |
I got John Delaney then Pete. I thought Bernie would be my top pick
by Anonymous | reply 50 | December 1, 2019 10:34 PM |
Biden didn't even show on my results.
Buttigieg at 85%,
Castro, Klobuchar, Warren and Yang at 84%
Kamala Harris and Tulsi Gabbard at 82%.
Too bad Americans don't have candidates like Justin Trudeau. I'm very left for the US, but I can't imagine choosing an American based on Tenderness.
It's telling that 'Creativity' and 'Vision' apply to very few Democratic Candidates.
If I designed the poll I would have a checkbox each for 'not Demented' and 'not White Supremacist.'
by Anonymous | reply 51 | December 1, 2019 10:41 PM |

Lowest was Biden, 85. Basically, I could live with anybody.

by Anonymous | reply 53 | December 1, 2019 10:50 PM |

8 other Dems over 90
I dont care who beats Trump, so that seems mostly right...though I'd like Gabbard to go away and die.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | December 1, 2019 11:04 PM |
Klobuchar and Biden are tied for me, followed closely by Williamson (twirl!)
I really want to like Klobuchar, but reports of her being mean to staff bothered me. I was beginning to let it fade from memory, but more reports of her temper surfaced. What worries is me is that people will be reluctant to tell her the truth, lest they get the brunt end of her temper.

90% Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren
87% Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar

Well, unsurprisingly my policy is voting for any Dem over Trump. As far as my political preferences go, there is a massive gulf between the two sides as this shows.

by Anonymous | reply 60 | December 1, 2019 11:48 PM |
I didn't take the test because lets face it, nearly none of the Democratic positions will become law. It really doesn't matter much where the candidates stand on the issues because nearly all of their positions will never pass congress even if Democrats control both houses of Congress. A few might pass but knowing which ones will pass is sort of crap shoot.
Republicans in Congress will vote against just about everything and there will most likely be enough moderate Democrats that only the most moderate positions are likely to pass.
If these candidates were honest they would admit that most of their positions will never become law and stop taking such extreme positions that they will just probably backtrack on if the get the nomination.
