A man has been shot dead in a stabbing attack on London bridge today five others are reported injured.
Wtf? Could they not have tased him first? Why shoot him like that? He was surrounded by three fully armed officers, ffs. Could they really not have subdued him?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 29, 2019 2:11 PM |
No fucking harm to shoot the bastard dead. Let it be a lesson to his fellow travelers.

The courts are there to dole out lessons.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 29, 2019 2:27 PM |
Are you sure he was "surrounded" with no possible escape? Those special units in London are very highly prepared to snuff out such incidents QUICKLY before they steamroll, as they have in the past, to many casualties. Tough shit for the perp!

by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 29, 2019 3:13 PM |
Some say he had a suicide vest, but isnt it even more dangerous to shoot him if he had one? He was on the ground, why not shoot him in the shoulder or leg? He no longer had the knife and was probably unarmed.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 29, 2019 3:24 PM |
R15, the gunshots were from the police. From what I've read, the attacker had a knife (which another man wrestled off him after the stabbings) but no gun.

In his press conference the Mayor referred to London as the world’s greatest city. I HATE this. There ISN’T a “greatest city.” Why do so many people and media outlets feel the need to do this? The Mayor also, of course, mentioned how diverse London is. He managed to leave out the word “vibrancy.”

Well, the difference is in the UK he could only buy a knife and wear a fake device and stab 5 people (and sadly still kill 2). But in the US terrorists or lunatics can buy an assault weapon at Wal-Mart and kill 50 people. Both systems are obviously deeply flawed.

The perp and another man— Mr Narwhal?— were engaged in a struggle on the ground. The cops were helping to pull Narwhal away while keeping the perp on the sidewalk. As the one cop pulls Narwhal to safety, the perp attempts to leap up from the ground (odd that there was no cop holding him down). That’s when he was shot.

Sure, but this is acting like Muslims can never be mentally ill. There's a double standard here where someone can be White, Christian, and can get away with doing something based off mental illness. The same cannot be said for Muslims or others. Usually this is a result of bigotry and acting like non-white non-Christian groups are lesser than others.

For 1.7 billion Muslims, Islam is not a "faith" or a "religion". It is the foundation of their culture, mentality and lifestyle and very existence. Their lives are circumscribed by Islam 24/7/365. There is nothing else. No choice, no freedom, and certainly no diversion from, let alone interpretation, of The Truth.

[quote] Quran (5:33) - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement."
[qupte] Quran (17:16) - "And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction."
[quote] Quran (48:29) - "Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard (ruthless) against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves."
The concept of "jihad" is mentioned frequently in the Quran.

There has to be a prioritization of values. That way when there is a clash, we have some idea of which values take precedence of which. In a western democracy, democratic enlightenment values have primacy, (tell me if you disagree.) Like equality of men and women.
Islamic values are fine in a democratic country as long but they can't override it's democratic values. There are also universal values we uphold. Such as equality, justice, liberty, that we uphold and support everywhere.
Some countries may not consider them universal, or applicable in their own countries. They may think what we consider undemocratic values to be superior. Like the status of women in an islamic society.
Naturally they will promote them. Naturally we promote ours.
But we cannot support clashing values within our own society. We cannot support values like the inferior treatment of Muslim women in our own society even if Muslim residents wish to do so. And even though we generally agree people should follow whatever religion they wish.
These values have to be subservient to ours if they want to live here.

From the inbreeding link:
But inbreeding is an issue that needs to be addressed, some European leaders say. The problem is that genetic deficiencies from consanguineous marriages is taxing European healthcare systems.
The BBC’s research, for example, found that that while British Pakistanis accounted for roughly 3.4% of all births, “they had 30% of all British children with recessive disorders and a higher rate of infant mortality.”
One study found that each year 700 babies in the UK are born with genetic disabilities as a result of consanguineous marriage. Despite this epidemic of genetic defects in babies born from consanguineous marriages, there remains a reluctance in many Islamic leaders to acknowledge the full ramifications of marriage between cousins (see below).

Cousin marriage should be banned. If they want to marry first cousins, let them go back to their culture.
from wiki:
Germany[edit] A fourth of all marriages among Turks in Germany are marriages to a family relative according to Essener Zentrum für Türkeistudien.[115]
The Netherlands[edit] The Netherlands has also had a recent debate that has reached the level of the Prime Minister proposing a cousin marriage ban. The proposed policy is explicitly aimed at preventing "import marriages" from certain nations like Morocco with a high rate of cousin marriage. Critics argue that such a ban would contradict Section 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, is not based on science, and would affect more than immigrants. While some proponents argue such marriages were banned until 1970, according to Frans van Poppel of the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute, they are confusing cousin marriage with uncle-niece marriage.[116]
United Kingdom[edit] In the English upper and upper-middle classes the prevalence of first-cousin marriage had remained steady at between 4% and 5% for much of the 19th century. Then quite suddenly, after the First World War, cousin marriage became very unusual. By the 1930s, only one marriage in 6,000 was with a first cousin. A study of a middle-class London population conducted in the 1960s found that just one marriage in 25,000 was between first cousins.[117]
There has been a great deal of debate in the past few years[when?] in the United Kingdom about whether to discourage cousin marriages through government public relations campaigns or ban them entirely.[citation needed] The debate has been prompted by a Pakistani immigrant population making up 1.5% of the British population, of whom about 50-70% marry a first cousin.[118] In the 1980s researchers found that children to closely related Pakistani parents had an autosomal recessive condition rate of 4% compared to 0.1% for the European group.[118] For example, Environment Minister (later Immigration Minister) Phil Woolas said in 2008, "If you have a child with your cousin the likelihood is there'll be a genetic problem" and that such marriages were the "elephant in the room".[119] Physician Mohammad Walji has spoken out against the practice, saying that it is a "very significant" cause of infant death, and his practice has produced leaflets warning against it.[120] However, Alan Bittles of the Centre for Comparative Genomics in Australia states that the risk of birth defects rises from roughly 2% in the general population to 4% for first cousins and therefore that "It would be a mistake to ban it".[121] Aamra Darr of the University of Leeds has also criticized what she called an "alarmist presentation of data" that exaggerates the risk.[122]
A 2008 analysis of infant mortality in Birmingham showed that "South Asian" infants had twice the infant mortality rate and 3 times the rate of infant mortality due to congenital anomalies.[118]

In 2012 he was sentenced to indeterminate detention for "public protection" with a minimum jail term of eight years.
But in 2013 the Court of Appeal quashed the sentence, replacing it with a 16-year-fixed term of which Khan should serve half in prison.
He was released in December 2018."

You send to have conveniently forgotten about 9/11. You are also strangely silent about the following:
On 7 January 2015, two brothers, Saïd and Chérif Kouachi, forced their way into the offices of the French satirical weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris. Armed with rifles and other weapons, they killed 12 people and injured 11 others.
2015, Paris: Belgian-born Salah Abdeslam, 29, had links to Isis which claimed responsibility for the co-ordinated attacks that killed 130 people and left around 360 people injured in the French capital.
2004, Madrid: Fifteen years after the 2004 Madrid terrorist attacks that killed 193 people and left around 1,700 injured, eight of the 18 men sentenced by the Spanish Supreme Court for the massacre remain in prison. Of this group, three have been given improved conditions thanks to good behavior, including Otman El Gnaoui, an actual perpetrator of the bombings, according to penitentiary sources. The other five remain in the most restrictive prison regime.
Berlin, 2016: On 19 December 2016, a truck was deliberately driven into the Christmas market next to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church at Breitscheidplatz in Berlin, leaving 12 people dead and 56 others injured. The perpetrator was Anis Amri, a Tunisian failed asylum seeker. Four days after the attack, he was killed in a shootout with police near Milan in Italy.
2004, Amsterdam: Van Gogh worked with the Somali-born writer and politician Ayaan Hirsi Ali to produce the short film Submission (2004), which criticized the treatment of women in Islam. It provoked outrage from the Dutch Muslim community. On 2 November 2004, van Gogh was assassinated by Mohammed Bouyeri, a Dutch-Moroccan Muslim who objected to the controversial film.
Germany, 2015/2016: During the 2015/2016 New Year's Eve celebrations, there were mass sexual assaults, 24 alleged rapes and numerous thefts in Germany, mainly in Cologne city center. There were similar incidents at the public celebrations in Hamburg, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart,Bielefeld and Frankfurt. For all of Germany, police estimated in a document leaked in 2016 that 1,200 women were sexually assaulted and that at least 2,000 men were involved, often acting in groups. Cologne police chief Wolfgang Albers stated that the perpetrators in his city were reportedly men of "Arab or North African appearance" and said that Germany had never experienced such mass sexual assaults before.
Just some highlights, the list is by no means exhaustive.

"In 2017, the EU Counter-terrorism Coordinator Gilles de Kerchove stated in an interview that there were more than 50,000 radicals and jihadists in Europe. In 2016, French authorities stated that 15,000 of the 20,000 individuals on the list of security threats belong to Islamist movements. After the Manchester Arena bombing in May 2017, British authorities and MI5 estimated they had 500 ongoing investigations into 3,000 jihadist extremists as potential terrorist attackers, with a further 20,000 having been "subjects of interest" in the past, including the Manchester and Westminster attackers."

And, short of a mass-attack that dwarfs 9/11 (say chemical or even nuclear) none of that will change anytime soon.
Hell, even in the face of a mass attack, it still might not change, basically because too many people are too frightened of breaking the de-facto Blasphemy Laws under which all Westerners now live.

R192 If the Koran orders Muslims to kill Non-Muslims, how does this explain the fact that Non-Muslims have remained as an intact population for 1400 years in Muslim ruled lands? Why have there been instances of Muslim alliances with Jews historically, for instance? by Anonymous | reply 206 | December 1, 2019 9:03 AM |
A lot of Muslims interpret those 'kill' verses as historic against specific groups and temporary. The radicals interpret this as eternal and binding forever. So it's a matter of interpretation.

[quote]Why have there been instances of Muslim alliances with Jews historically
You mean like that "alliance" with the Jews of Saudi Arabia whom Mohammed slaughtered when the Jews ceased to be useful? Like that?
[quote]So it's a matter of interpretation.
No, it isn't. It is one of the pillars of Islam, jihad against the Infidel until submission. Ongoing for the last 1,400 years and to be continued until non-Muslims submit or Islam is weakened/destroyed.
by Anonymous | reply 208 | December 1, 2019 9:18 AM |
Historically it was subjugation into the state of dhimmitude and impoverishing payment of the jizya that preserved any non-believers, but mainly they either converted or were automatically killed (men, mainly) often, the women were turned into sex slaves, sold or, if non-valuable, they were killed.
Remember, ALL of the Middle East and North Africa was non-Muslim. Those countries were all populated by Christians and Jews, and various Arabian Pagan tribes - until conquered 'at the sword' by Islamic warriors.

Keep on eye on the years- most of the spread happened in just under 200 years. That's what their astonishing level of brutality got them - total submission from the Middle East to Western Europe.

R208 R209 This is an extreme oversimplification of history. Why have the Yazidis been left alone until ISIS came along? Why have historical sites been preserved until ISIS? There were many cases where conversion wasn't even enforced and other faiths could practice their religions. They payed Jizya in exchange for not having to serve in the Islamic armies. Muslims also have to pay a tax called the Zakat. You're trying to paint this out as black and white with no nuances or difference in leaders and policies.

Wrong R216. What is an oversimplification is your apologist nonsense about the scourge of Islam. Historical sites preserved? You mean like the Bamayan Buddhas? Or Hagia Sofia? Islam has a long history of destroying "historical" sites that evince any other culture but Islam.
And it is black and white. Jizyah was not a tax for "charity" (zakat), but a tax, a punishment for not being Muslim.
The only difference between Muslim despots and their policies was the extent of brutality required to encourage Infidels to submit to Islam.
[quote]Muslims have been stealing other people's land for centuries.
To Muslims, they are not "stealing" anything. They are simply returning the "transgressor" to The Truth. Such as in Xtian Europe, which Islam spent 500 years attempting to reconquer. And they finally did it without firing a shot, thanx to gullible apologists. See this thread for myriad examples.

R219 Read some actual history and stop taking everything from right-wing sites with an obvious agenda. By your logic the Golden Age shouldn't have ever happened. Libraries and education centers where people of all faiths wouldn't have been encouraged to enter and share knowledge. This ended after the Mongols sack and burned Baghdad and other places.

Your link doesn't exactly support your point. The author states that it's a mistake to state that that time period was characterized as fully one or the other. There were leaders and periods of 'tolerance' and 'intolerance'. Your point that you are trying to prove is that the Islamic World has always been that of backwardness and intolerance, with no progressiveness or tolerance whatsoever. The author states that that is an incorrect oversimplification. That there were indeed some areas and leaders who were more progressive than others.

R222 The one mistake made by the author is that Byzantine Greeks had the ancient Greek texts already! No translation necessary. No need for The Irish to save civilization OR The Moselms to have translated texts either.
Another is how Moselms and Jews were treated in Western Europe They were treated pretty badly when compared to the Jews and Christians in Islamic Spain. Islamic Spain was no paradise BUT Christian Europe and Christian pain were extremely intolerant of non Christian religions and other Christian sects that disagreed with one another. Read about the problems that the Eastern Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Protestants had with one another.

At one time, Westerners were filthy and savage pagans, but Muslims were peaceful and clean and creating algebra and beautiful fine art. And the European brutes swept the world, colonizing, etc. And the Muslims just want to be top dog again.
I think about this, sometimes.

You've killed, enslave, and raped tens to hundreds of millions of us, we will no longer allow you to kill us as your fast ticket to islamic paradise as you create hell on earth.
Besides all the violence being committed by islam, except for two or three, every one of the 57 muslim majority countries are abysmal places in so many ways, especially when it comes to human rights. Islam is VERY fucked up, that is the reason why muslims want to silence everyone from telling the truth about it.

R237, that academic had it wrong, as so many have for so long. Muslims destroyed incredible civilizations from Constantinople to Persia, India, North Africa, the Holy Land. They appropriated everything from these lands, including culture, learning, slaves, money etc. There made have been a golden period but it wasn't this paradise they want to lie about....and it was islam that destroyed itself. Here is an excellent book about the devastation islam brought to the classical world. It was repeated all the way to The Philippines and is being repeated across the globe, in one form or another, to this day.
Islam has contributed little to nothing to the modernity.....maybe the numbers they stole from the hindus. No one is running to muslim-majority countries.....for good fucking reasons.

R245, you are correct that authors who speak truthfully about islam and islamic history face career death at best, mortal death at the hands of muslims, at worst. Theo Van Gogh comes to mind. However, there are several contemporary scholars who are telling the truth, such as:
Bat Ye'or many excellent books
Ayaan Hirsi Ali - Any of her writings or videos
Efraim Karsh "Islamic Imperialism a History"
Andrew G. Bostom "Islamic Holy War and the Fate of Non-Muslims"
Dario Fernandez-Morera "The Myth of Andalusian Paradise - Muslims. Christians and Jews under Islamic Rule in Medieval Spain"
Robert G. Hoyland "In God's Path - The Arab Conquest and the Creation of an Islamic Empire"
Ibn Warraq "The Islam in Islamic Terrorism - The Importance of Beliefs, Ideas, and Ideology"
Raymond Ibrahim "The Sword and Scimitar - Fourteen Centuries of War Between Islam and the West"
Robert Spencer "The History of Jihad"
Douglas Murray "The Strange Death of Europe"
Oriana Fallaci "The Rage and the Pride" and "The Force of Reason"
There are also recent books about the Armenian genocide, which also included the murder or exile of tens of thousands of Greeks from Turkey, books about the Hindu holocaust, and a few books about the current state of things in European countries, though these are very few. There is quite a lot once you start looking.

Julie Burchill has written a good piece on it:
"There will also be the usual platitudes about ‘not giving in to hate’, which means not expressing any anger and singing ‘Kumbaya’ while waving candles instead. If we say anything even slightly heated we are apparently in some way as bad as the attackers. But on the contrary, you give in to hate when you allow a violent fascist ideology free rein. As Christopher Hitchens said, ‘The barbarians never take a city until someone holds the gates open to them – and it’s your own multicultural authorities who will do it for you’. With each new attack we are told that this has ‘nothing to do with Islam’ – but even if that’s so, we’d be justified in thinking that Islam certainly attracts a higher proportion of murderous maniacs than any setup since the Manson Family."

Islam is unlike any other religion.
Just take the Salah, the ritual prayer. Described as a "physical, mental, and spiritual act of worship." The act is a series of movements and words repeated and repeated and repeated. If there's a mistake made it renders the prayer invalid and 2 prostrations have to be performed. From puberty to old age, every day, again and again, and again.
That is indoctrination and brainwashing at its zenith.
And then there's that central message. All religions have them. Islam has the worst, summed up in one word, SUBMISSION. For believers and non-believers as well.
What world wide religion can top that.

"Shut the fuck up. You guys only care about women when it comes to the Muslims and Blacks. Don't act like nobody can see the threads where people laugh about women claiming rape and sexual assault from White non-Muslim men. Get off your high horse cunt.'
Fuck off, Islam apologist. How do you explain the mass sexual assaults in various German cities a few years ago? Around 2000 mostly Muslim men assaulted women. Name ONE incident where Jewish or Catholic men did the same in the last five years.

R309 is so deluded that he thinks the rape and sexual assault of people from priests and rabbis never happen. To him it's only evil Muslims who do everything wrong and other groups are angels. Your information is wrong by the way. This is what really happened.

Lmao, a Youtube video is your source? My link, that you obviously didn't read through because it would ruin your narrative, explained what happened by word of the victims' mouths. Now you accuse me of being a Muslim because you are a raving prejudiced lunatic. I'm an atheist you ugly cunt.

R298, nowhere in the New Testament does it say to hate or kill anyone. Even the violence in the Old Testament is historical. Islam is the only religion founded by a mass murderer, rapists and enslaver. Only the islamic texts have a diabolical god that orders muslims to kill, rape and enslave Christians, Jews and all non-muslims. Wake the fuck up.

Classic Muslim apologist babble
"Bible said terrible things too" "How about witch burning" "How about Inquisition and Crusades?" "How about Mike Pence?"

Your own link stated that the perpetrators were North Africans speaking Arabic, and that they groped women.
Sexual assaults doubled in Bavaria between 2015 and 2016.

R319: that is a very typical reaction of the hard left. While I do agree, it's no use inciting hate, we also must not protect violent offenders, regardless of their race.

The only thing bad about this London bridge attack was that Jack's father was not standing next to Jack at the time of the attack

"Now you accuse me of being a Muslim because you are a raving prejudiced lunatic. I'm an atheist you ugly cunt.".
You like that word, "cunt", don't you? Cunt this, cunt that. Fine intellectual and rational thinker you are. Fact is, whether you like it or not, sexual assaults have increased in all European countries with a huge influx of Muslim immigrants. One "refugee" said after raping and murdering a woman, that it was "only a woman". You probably agree with him.

If your bar for how your religion conducts itself is "what about the crusades?" then you've already lost the argument. You're basically saying "Well, in the Middle Ages Christianity committed horrible atrocities, so all of the atrocities we've committed in the 21st century are justified." and it makes both you and the religion you're defending sound like brutish, archaic, violent morons. If you have to compare your religion to 1300's Christianity to make it sound civilized you've already failed at your objective.

Please keep in mind, the Crusades were a reaction to Islamic expansion.

Speaking of nursing vipers, the shooter at the Pensacola Naval station was a member of the Saudi Air Force, training in aviation. Mohammad Saeed Alshamrani. “Federal law enforcement sources say he was ‘harboring anti-US and extremist views’. The FBI has not yet determined whether the shooting was terrorism-related. “
It’s not what you think, guys. He was just mistaken, shooting and killing US military. While he was living among them... why are we training these fuckheads?!

R326 Because if we don't Americans will attack us for racism, islamaphobia, what have you. The American people, thanks to Twitter and other social media platforms, have become little more than an angry lynch-mob that will cause its own downfall.
