Celebrity Deadpool 2020 - Which famous faces do you think will leave us in 2020?

Yes unfortunately we are approaching that time of year again on datalounge when we contemplate and ponder which celebrities may pass away next year.

Sadly I feel we are likely to lose the divine Loretta Lynn next year.

Some other guesses include Jimmy Carter, Katherine Jackson, Kirk Douglas, Rhonda Fleming and Olivia Newton John.😥

Isabelle Huppert isn't going anywhere, she's only 68.

I'm worried for Deneuve, but everyone is claiming she's doing much better and will return to filming early 2020

For all the wine they drink, the French have been losing a lot of their stars the past few years. Sad, really.

by Anonymousreply 60November 28, 2019 9:26 AM

R60 I think the loss of stars in France is due more to smoking than drinking wine. Isabelle Huppert's mother died rather young - just a stab in the dark cause it looks like she doesn't eat enough.

by Anonymousreply 61November 28, 2019 9:35 AM

R61 True, the French do smoke a shit ton, from a very young age. I was a little shocked to see 14 year olds hanging outside Parisian schools, smoking away like it's no big deal.

Huppert smokes and doesn't eat a lot, but she's extremely petite and wouldn't carry extra weight well. Still, she could stand to eat a bit more, but since she's not dying of starvation, she has many years ahead.

Deneuve was doing exceptionally well but she's suddenly gone down hard, poor thing. Hope she recovers soon.

by Anonymousreply 62November 28, 2019 11:04 AM

God, it must be s nice not to add and promote Valerie Harper on this list anymore. She had a nice run, but she couldn’t be dying forever.

by Anonymousreply 137November 30, 2019 1:14 PM

r136 Delusional. It was e.g. very successful here in Germany, and especially back then they did not import easily series from the US, partially because they had to be synchronized, and there was no private television until the late 80s, so moral played a much bigger role. It was a good show, and informational and scientific, okay that is tiresome, especially for the uneducated and unacademic, but still important. Bewitched, I Love Lucy, Saved by the Bell and most other older shows mentioned here so often were never shown in Germany. Not expecting dl supporting a good person and it has a thing for nepotist cases, Barbara Eden achieved everything on her own. She was also very influential, e.g. I guess Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, the last real popstars, were Doris Day and Barbara Eden knock-offs and reminiscences respectively, and had that dichotomy, Aguilera's breakthrough and biggest hit was 'Genie in a Bottle'.

by Anonymousreply 138November 30, 2019 1:59 PM

Ok troops, who going to start the Sad last days of Jimmy Carter thread?

by Anonymousreply 174December 3, 2019 4:15 AM

R172 Belmondo has been in poor health for a number of years now. Tritignant has certainly looked frail for sometime now. It will be a very sad day when they (and Hackman & Leaud) all pass.

Maybe Roz Kelly (although I hope not). Earlier this year she was reportedly ill and rumored to be living in a nursing home. Plus she has mobility problems, which isn't good for an older person.

Didn't someone post that John Saxon wasn't doing well?

by Anonymousreply 184December 5, 2019 1:46 AM

There's always some younger celeb that goes every year...I'm guessing it will be Johnny Depp this time.

by Anonymousreply 185December 5, 2019 2:15 AM

R179 Saxon has had Alzheimer's for some time now.

by Anonymousreply 186December 5, 2019 2:43 AM

R185, Johnny Depp is 56, so he's not that young anymore.

Some one important in the film industry will die just before the Oscar ceremony. Like maybe a week or two before. Not talking about Kirk Douglas. He wouldn't be "unexpected." I'm talking about a Heath Ledger type unexpected.

Who do you think will go first...Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden? Common sense would dictate Sanders (after the heart attack), but Joe just looks like walking death, so I say Joe.

by Anonymousreply 236December 20, 2019 1:12 AM

Joe's mother lived to be 97, so if he inherits her genes he has a lot of years left.

by Anonymousreply 237December 20, 2019 1:39 AM

Bernie. And can I just say as an aside...I long for a president who doesn't need to w ear orange make up. Joe and Bernie have too much make up on. It's not Trumpian, but close.

by Anonymousreply 238December 20, 2019 1:49 AM

R238 I suppose they all better get used to wearing make-up at their ages. When they pass the funeral parlour will cover them in make-up, sounds like they are just getting ahead of themselves.

by Anonymousreply 241December 20, 2019 3:39 AM

R241 Great idea. Attack of the Killer Celebrity Zombies. We could make a film. Suggestions for Male lead/Female lead and those who transitioned after death.

by Anonymousreply 242December 20, 2019 8:44 AM

R241, Phyllis Diller....

by Anonymousreply 243December 20, 2019 11:10 AM

R243 Oh, it’s a comedy then, we also need to have Paul Lynde if we’ve got Diller, can’t do it with out the wit and wisdom of center square!

Boy George

by Anonymousreply 245December 20, 2019 3:17 PM

Hardly. Her heyday was starring in "I Dream of Jeannie."

by Anonymousreply 258December 21, 2019 4:25 AM

R247 Yes Yoko Ono has been looking increasingly frail.

by Anonymousreply 259December 21, 2019 9:34 AM

A lot of names are repeated from one thread to another.

by Anonymousreply 353January 6, 2020 3:28 AM

I have a feeling that 2020 will be quite a big year for famous peoples deaths with plenty of significant big names like Prince Philip, Jimmy Carter and Kirk Douglas dying. An end of an era kind of vibe to it. But not only do I feel it will be a big year for significant world figure deaths and icons from entertainment but also a big year for major shock deaths. I dont think Kobe Bryant will be the only big name young celebrity who is a shock death in 2020. I think it is going to be that kind of year unfortunately.

by Anonymousreply 354January 28, 2020 2:21 AM

This is my saddest Deadpool entry ever: Chuck Yeager.

It makes me so sad to even put his name out there. He (along with other ‘nauts) used to create sonic booms over our SoCal house in the ‘50s/‘60s. What a legendary pilot.

Democrats are so stupid.
