Tasteful. Imagine him exercising nude in this sunny abode.
Tasteful Freinds: Jason Statham's tastefully beige and wood Malibu beach home
by Anonymous | reply 88 | April 22, 2020 2:22 AM |
Beige overdose
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 22, 2019 4:54 PM |
Ugly.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 22, 2019 4:56 PM |
Not my taste, but nicely done if you love minimal neutrality and such. Didn't know he had so much $$$
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 22, 2019 4:58 PM |
Those Bowers & Wilkins speakers need to be moved out from the walls.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 22, 2019 5:00 PM |
He’s been starring in films, some blockbusters, for 20 years but you didn’t know he had money?!
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 22, 2019 5:00 PM |
I pictured him naked in every room.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 22, 2019 5:04 PM |
I was surprised he was that rich too. Never seen him in a movie. That’s Cher kinda money.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 22, 2019 5:04 PM |
I saw him in "Snatch" 20 years ago and tuned out.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 22, 2019 5:05 PM |
Love it. Exactly my taste.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 22, 2019 5:06 PM |
I'd been hoping this was a tentative step towards finally coming out, until.... this:
[quote]In the living room, a designer likely would have carefully selected curios and books for the large shelves flanking the dominating brick fireplace, where come winter, he, partner Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and their two-year-old, like to sit.
Oh, please, Jason. When does that bearding contract end?
And Rosie? Jason will never make you a star. No one will.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 22, 2019 5:10 PM |
He has worked non stop for 20 years. Just because your old as hell asses don’t watch his movie doesn’t mean they aren’t there.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 22, 2019 5:11 PM |
Does he get included with the house?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 22, 2019 5:13 PM |
LOL, R8. I think that's the only thing I've ever seen him - I love that movie.
I tried to watch The Italian Job, but Mark Wahlberg irritates me.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 22, 2019 5:49 PM |
"Freinds" ?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 22, 2019 5:58 PM |
Cool house and all but look at those ginormous feets! 🐽🤤
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 22, 2019 6:04 PM |
Hated it!...
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 22, 2019 6:18 PM |
Actually very surprised. Spartan modern basically. Very manly. Extremely nice design and only one flaw.
The giant woodpile in the living room. VERY BAD!
Everything else he gets a five-star golden closet award.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 22, 2019 6:23 PM |
Way too bald.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 22, 2019 6:41 PM |
Did I miss the price tag? How much did he spent?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 22, 2019 7:32 PM |
not an ounce of femininity in the place. JASON YOU GAY GURL
by Anonymous | reply 20 | November 22, 2019 7:40 PM |
Nice, minimalistic and neutral. It needs more than one color. I don’t mean colorful but beige everywhere is just too much.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 22, 2019 7:46 PM |
That oven view from the living room is worth the price.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 22, 2019 7:53 PM |
^^^I meant OCEAN, not oven. lol
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 22, 2019 7:54 PM |
So did he build the house to match his clothes? Or, did he pick his clothes to match the house? I imagine about once a week, his friends will say “Christ, you stink! Go paint a wall already!”
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 22, 2019 8:02 PM |
I actually thought his live of the pottery was pretty gay.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 22, 2019 8:12 PM |
Well, like the article says, it's Danish mid-century. Not much more to say.
More about those feet, though!
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 22, 2019 8:35 PM |
R30 Yeah, I could see him getting those long legs up on the desk. Not sure about the chair, though . Do those caster wheels have brakes?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 22, 2019 8:53 PM |
Sure is beige.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 22, 2019 9:03 PM |
[quote]^^^I meant OCEAN, not oven. lol
The oven view is also lovely.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 22, 2019 9:06 PM |
Certainly more tasteful than those New York monstrosities.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 22, 2019 9:32 PM |
I kind of love it. It is too beige, needs some color but it's very tasteful..too bad it will be swept out to sea soon.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 22, 2019 9:44 PM |
I haven't seen many of his films but I have to recommend "Homefront". It's so camp! An over-the-top Kate Bosworth as a meth head, and over the top James Franco playing Gator the drug dealer, and Winona Ryder as a white trash waitress who gets fucked on a sports car by Franco. Jason plays a former DEA agent who moves to a small town with his daughter and ends up kicking major ass. Screenplay by Sylvester Stallone. I'd say it's a guilty pleasure but I feel no guilt at all.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 22, 2019 10:11 PM |
No, he's better in Crank and Crank II; shows his ass, runs around shirtless a lot, fake public fuck scenes.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 22, 2019 10:58 PM |
The floating teak shelves in the dining room—installed by the carpenter who’d done Statham’—were a reaction to not having a large enough piece of art to hang above his Danish table and Niels O. Møller chairs.
there I fixed it the article!
by Anonymous | reply 38 | November 22, 2019 11:06 PM |
The floating teak shelves in the dining room—installed by the carpenter who’d done Statham—were a reaction to not having a large enough piece.
There I fixed it even better!
by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 22, 2019 11:07 PM |
His kitchen looks like a lab
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 23, 2019 2:28 AM |
His former house was "a post and beam in West Hollywood."
by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 23, 2019 7:15 AM |
I can't believe he was ever a fashion model. He's quite short, isn't he?
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 23, 2019 4:37 PM |
I love it. Could use some colours, but it is exactly my taste
by Anonymous | reply 43 | November 23, 2019 4:41 PM |
It's nice but the minimal mid-century modern look has been done to death. Can't people be a bit more imaginative?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | November 23, 2019 4:52 PM |
Excellent taste. Seems like every piece of furniture in that place is a designer original. Looks like he raided 1stDibs.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | November 23, 2019 4:55 PM |
[quote]It's nice but the minimal mid-century modern look has been done to death.
Not many people can afford to do it with the real stuff though. There are knock-offs in that place.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 23, 2019 4:58 PM |
I quite like it - soothing colors, comfortable furniture. And since it’s right on the beach, the interior palette wouldn’t be monotonous due to the outside view constantly changing.
Looks like a bachelor pad, though.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | November 23, 2019 5:01 PM |
R42, he wasn't a fashion model. He was already known as an actor before that 'celebrity dons clothes' photoshoot.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | November 23, 2019 6:34 PM |
You'd think he'd want a place with a pool and a diving board.
He was on Britain's National Swimming/Diving Squad for 12 years - said to be a passion and a great experience.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | November 23, 2019 10:44 PM |
by Anonymous | reply 50 | November 23, 2019 10:44 PM |
Who cares about his house? Unless he’s naked in it and jacking off where we’re all able to see?
by Anonymous | reply 51 | November 23, 2019 10:57 PM |
His feet look tasteful too.
Yum 😋
by Anonymous | reply 52 | November 23, 2019 11:00 PM |
R52, Yes! I'd lick his feet, suck on his toes, work my way up and back down again. 👅
by Anonymous | reply 53 | November 23, 2019 11:12 PM |
His feet are hot and I am not in to feet. But does look like a bachelor pad and seems odd since he has a partner and kid. Does Rosie get a say in the house decor? He never even acknowledged that Rosie was his partner,
by Anonymous | reply 54 | November 23, 2019 11:27 PM |
Hot short chav who made it big time. Bet he throws a mean fuck.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | November 23, 2019 11:40 PM |
You know he does! R55
by Anonymous | reply 56 | November 23, 2019 11:44 PM |
Wish he’d come out publicly but doubt it will ever happen
by Anonymous | reply 57 | November 23, 2019 11:46 PM |
As bland as he is. Why is he in movies?
by Anonymous | reply 58 | November 23, 2019 11:51 PM |
Is being half-naked in an Erasure music video count as semi coming out?
by Anonymous | reply 59 | November 23, 2019 11:53 PM |
Another one. I can totally see him doing favors to get ahead
by Anonymous | reply 60 | November 23, 2019 11:57 PM |
Oooops I should have written: "There are NO knock-offs in that place."
by Anonymous | reply 61 | November 24, 2019 12:05 AM |
He did a movie called Redemption that was very good.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | November 24, 2019 12:22 AM |
R54
Do they even live together? Since the place doesn't have a hint of her taste (or, for that matter, a hint that a 2-year-old child lives there), they don't seem to be cohabitating.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | November 24, 2019 12:45 AM |
They're probably not cohabitating since he's gay.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | November 24, 2019 12:56 AM |
What R64 said.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | November 24, 2019 1:04 AM |
R63 Probably not full-time, anyway. .. On IG, she's referred to this place in Malibu as "the beach house." (Property records currently show he alone owns it.) .. About four years ago, it was reported that they'd bought a place in Beverly Hills 90210. .. I believe they still have this place, as there are photos of them there (along with the kid) from within the last year. .. When TMZ reported on that purchase, they made a point of saying they'd split the $13 million price tag between them sparking rumors of a possible engagement. When she's in L.A. she looks to spend most of her time there (jmho).
by Anonymous | reply 66 | November 24, 2019 1:35 AM |
From last year. You can see this area of the house in the photos at R66 link.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | November 24, 2019 1:36 AM |
One of the more painfully obvious bearded couplings
by Anonymous | reply 69 | November 24, 2019 7:41 AM |
Statham has munchkin feet. Poor Rosie!
by Anonymous | reply 70 | November 24, 2019 7:53 AM |
[quote]“I learned something rather quickly: The moisture in the evening comes in rather quickly,” says Statham. “At six o’clock everything is sort of wet and damp.” To adapt, he chose durable resilient materials inside that wouldn’t be destroyed by the seaside atmosphere, like Hans Wegner Wishbone chairs.
Most people don't know the humid salt air destroys things.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | November 24, 2019 9:43 AM |
It looks like a boutique hotel
by Anonymous | reply 72 | November 24, 2019 11:48 AM |
[quote] One of the more painfully obvious bearded couplings.
That 5-bedroom, 8-bath house in Beverly Hills looks perfect for that type of arrangement (having what appears to be two completely separate wings with a back guest-pool house attached to the side wing).
by Anonymous | reply 73 | November 24, 2019 8:59 PM |
No r72, THIS looks like a boutique hotel....*bondage girl and tiger not included*:
by Anonymous | reply 74 | November 24, 2019 9:27 PM |
The Eames LCW and Nelson bubble lamp deserve to be surrounded with better, more interesting furniture and fixtures.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | November 24, 2019 10:20 PM |
Where does he keep his clothes? I didn't see a closet or a dresser.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | November 24, 2019 11:49 PM |
R76 He just wore them for the camera.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | November 24, 2019 11:51 PM |
Depressing. It feels very lonely and disconnected. I wouldn't want to die there.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | November 24, 2019 11:55 PM |
R76 One wonders, and they only show her closet in the Beverly Hills home.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | November 25, 2019 1:32 AM |
I don't understand , wifey is a stereotypical younger blonde trophy wife. This is an arrangement ?
by Anonymous | reply 80 | November 25, 2019 1:41 AM |
I’m picking up a Katherine Hepburn vibe without the talent.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | November 25, 2019 2:14 AM |
r80 very much so. Statham is on the A list train for the Macho lead action star. If the public knew is was the gay it would kill his career. Enter in Rose. She gets to go to all events, can crash in Malibu when in LA and still live her life. Eventually, they will go the way of the Cooper/Mendezes or the Cooper/Shrina's ...or literally anyone with Bradley Cooper.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | November 26, 2019 2:58 AM |
One difference is they have a kid, so that's a little longer-term investment, or perhaps dividend.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | November 26, 2019 3:20 AM |
Oddly, in the rooms besides the bedroom, there are no lamps, or overhead lighting. Does he only live there in the daytime? Plus it's ridiculously close to the shoreline, it'll be gone within the decade.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | November 26, 2019 3:44 AM |
R85 There appears to be some overhead lighting in this longer shot at the actual real estate listing.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | November 26, 2019 7:26 PM |
Follow-up:
In late January, the L.A. Times reported that it sold for $18.5 million.
Original asking price $19.95 million. He bought it in 2009 for $10.6 million.
