UK intelligence officials shaken by Trump administration’s requests for help with counter-impeachment inquiry

"And the information being requested has left allies astonished. One British official with knowledge of Barr’s wish list presented to London commented that “it is like nothing we have come across before, they are basically asking, in quite robust terms, for help in doing a hatchet job on their own intelligence services”.
Sums it all up right there.

Is this not treason?

Can this be included in the impeachment proceedings, as evidence of obstruction?

It should be. The arrogance is stunning. I have this bad feeling that Dump and Vlad agreed that the latter will bomb something to induce mass chaos and incite WWIII if the heat gets turned up to high.

Putin agreed to nothing with Trump. Putin's aim was chaos and eroding faith in US institutions. There is no "quid pro quo" between Trump and Putin. Trump is simply a means to that end.
