Recent gay or 'LGBT' films that repulse you
'Cubby's lead actor is repugnant; a pouty untalented chronically masturbating bipolar slob who, of course, moves to New York to 'make it.' Claustrophpbic cinematography, poor audio, and clichéd trope after trope. I lasted 10 minutes. Truly awful.
What are your choices; gay films that repulse you?

Love, Simon is an atrocious piece of garbage, clearly written by a straight woman. I can’t believe people trash CMBYN but think that a homophobic fetishizing piece of trash like that is the peak of gay cinema.

For every good LGBT themed film made, there's at least 3 or 4 shiteous ones. Too many low budget movies back in the day that were just poorly written, cast and produced.

It’s not a film, but the new Queer Eye is horrible for society’s image of gay males. All of the stars are effeminate, loud, shrill, prancing queens with the extremely debatable exception of Antoni. I can’t believe that after a decade of media that has tried to get rid of the “all gay men are practically women with dicks” stereotype, something like this can be lauded as a great example of gay representation.

This really sounds like a "you" problem and less like a gay representation in the media problem.

Repulse might not be the best word, but "1985" with Cory Michael Smith is so pedestrian in almost every conceivable way, it offends me.

Yes, they are the low end of quantity over quality.

AFTER LOUIE (17): Alan Cumming is unappealing in every way in this under-populated New York microbudget post-AIDS drama.

Oh, yes, R8. There wasn't a shred of scenery Alan did not chew. Another in the 'claustrophobic cinema' genre, but at least director-writer Vincent could compose a shot and hired a competent audio crew.

Oh wow, Cubby actually got made? I read that script four years ago and thought it was utter garbage.

Know your audience R3
(and I'm talking about DL, not QE)

R3. Agreed. It's all part of the far left's agenda to try to emasculate men. Unfortunately, far-left politics have infiltrated the entertainment/print industry, which is why you you see a lot of movies/shows/write-ups criticizing 'toxic masculinity' and touting this 'new masculinity' (i.e., effeminate men). It is mostly women leading the charge from the left, which explains everything.

CMBYN is pedo trash. Hammer can’t act and looks like he’s grooming a child.

All gay films about roommates and unrequited love with no display of dongs. Just hideous and atrocious.
