Nothing says anti-consumer legislation than robocalls

No one wants a robocall or other auto-dialed calls.

The only reason robocalls occur is that someone is pulling some scam.

Companies with whom consumers do legitimate business all have "opt-in/out" features for direct marketing calls. Unsolicited robocalls should be a criminal offense and companies who do them should be charged $100 per call made.

The only reason they are legal is the companies who do them paid congressman a lot of money to keep them legal or make them legal since it used to be illegal to make such calls to cellphones when we were charged for calling minutes.
