A real Nelson Meowndela!

by Anonymousreply 1November 11, 2019 8:21 PM

Haha I love this cat!

by Anonymousreply 2November 11, 2019 8:34 PM

Quilty is not going to be treated like an immigrant child inside ICE detention centers.

by Anonymousreply 3November 11, 2019 8:36 PM

What a fun read that was! I especially enjoyed the survey asking if Quilty should be freed - Yes or Yes.

by Anonymousreply 4November 11, 2019 8:38 PM

I notice that too R4! It seemed like a DL poll.

by Anonymousreply 5November 11, 2019 8:41 PM

“Spicy a-hole crashed the staff meeting”. Those fucken spicy assholes and their meeting crashing ways! This cat is a gem.

by Anonymousreply 6November 11, 2019 8:42 PM

[quote]a video showed the 'spicy a-hole' being marched back to his holding cell after he got out and crashed a staff meeting

I'm here, bitches. Let's start the show!

by Anonymousreply 7November 11, 2019 8:47 PM

I want him. All cats should be allowed to roam free

by Anonymousreply 8November 11, 2019 8:56 PM

Can a house cat ever be fully happy?

by Anonymousreply 9November 11, 2019 9:03 PM

r9

Some can

by Anonymousreply 10November 11, 2019 9:09 PM

R8 you should have him, simply by virtue of your name. Bodega Cat and his sidekick Quilty the Spicy A-hole. It’s like an episode of The Tick.

by Anonymousreply 11November 11, 2019 9:10 PM

Quilty for President.

by Anonymousreply 12November 11, 2019 9:11 PM

R12 or running mate at the very least.

by Anonymousreply 13November 11, 2019 9:14 PM

Quilty would make a far better president than Trumptardo!

QUILTY FOR PRESIDENT!!!

by Anonymousreply 14November 11, 2019 9:14 PM

Thank you @R11

by Anonymousreply 15November 11, 2019 9:18 PM

Quilty should free all the migrants from the internment camps.

by Anonymousreply 16November 11, 2019 9:18 PM

Ha! Try that stunt around my house!

by Anonymousreply 17November 11, 2019 9:19 PM

Can someone give him directions to where Cinder is?

by Anonymousreply 18November 11, 2019 9:30 PM

R18 freeing Cinder would be more than opening a door. Her loaf would take some lifting.

by Anonymousreply 19November 11, 2019 9:43 PM

Lol R18

"Help! This is an emergency!"

Of course, cats have no shame. As it should be.

by Anonymousreply 21November 11, 2019 10:59 PM

Thank you for posting this story OP. I laughed out loud. I think Quilty will be adopted very soon. What a bratty but adorable cat.

by Anonymousreply 22November 12, 2019 2:33 AM

Personality

by Anonymousreply 23November 12, 2019 2:45 AM

I. LOVE. THIS. CAT.

by Anonymousreply 24November 12, 2019 5:05 AM

Quilty stands up for his principles. He's the 'Norma Rae' of the feline world.

by Anonymousreply 25November 12, 2019 5:15 AM

It's weird. I look at Quilty and the closing credit theme song from The Monkees comes to mind. "We gotta be freee, WE GOTTA BE FREEE..."

by Anonymousreply 26November 12, 2019 1:48 PM

Someone on Twitter said that Quilty has found a forever home.

by Anonymousreply 27November 12, 2019 7:36 PM

My cat is constantly opening drawers and cabinets. I swear she's too smart for her own good.

by Anonymousreply 28November 12, 2019 7:41 PM

^^^Or really nosy

by Anonymousreply 29November 12, 2019 8:43 PM

[quote]Someone on Twitter said that Quilty has found a forever home.

Which he will be breaking out of later this week.

by Anonymousreply 30November 12, 2019 8:45 PM

Quilty is a Freedom Fighter R30.

That's great that he found a forever home. His new owners cannot say that they weren't warned about Quilty and his quest for freedom. Freedom for himself and for others.

by Anonymousreply 31November 12, 2019 8:53 PM

That article was so funny. Checkered past, no shame, failed all of his parole hearings. He'd make a great service cat.

by Anonymousreply 32November 12, 2019 8:54 PM

"You're free now Cinder. Run! Run!"

"Err...thanks, Quilty. That's wonderful. You go ahead....I'll catch up"

by Anonymousreply 33November 12, 2019 9:25 PM

And while you're here, could you open that cabinet?

by Anonymousreply 34November 12, 2019 10:37 PM

I love cats

by Anonymousreply 35November 12, 2019 10:56 PM

Exactly R33. "We'll stay here where it's comfortable but you go ahead and enjoy your...freedom...Quilty".

The rest of the cats head to the food and treat area of the pantry.

by Anonymousreply 36November 12, 2019 11:06 PM

"However, unlike many escapees, Quilty's story appears to be heading toward a happy ending. The shelter updated the cat's online profile Tuesday, explaining that the pet is on a one-week trial period with a potential adopter, who appeared to be wild about him.

'He hasn't shown any slickness at all yet; he is the most loving and affectionate cat I have ever met!' his potential fur-parent told the shelter. It seems the sly little cat may have escaped his way to a forever home after all. "

Quilty will be like Batman--Bruce Wayne with is family and venturing out at nigh to free his animal brothers and sisters.

by Anonymousreply 38November 13, 2019 6:59 PM

I love how his foster parents say that they haven't seen any "slickness" yet. So cute.

by Anonymousreply 39November 13, 2019 7:41 PM

Exactly R38.

by Anonymousreply 40November 13, 2019 7:47 PM

He's so cute.

by Anonymousreply 41November 16, 2019 11:56 PM

When a shelter cat or dog gets publicity like this, the shelter really ought to use the opportunity to unload other pets. "Quilty? She's right here-take her". Then the next person who asks about Quilty gets another tabby cat suddenly named Quilty. And another..and another...

by Anonymousreply 42November 17, 2019 12:09 AM

Yes, the multi-Quilty-verse!
