Jonathan Swan is an adorable Australian hottie reporter for Axios who often appears on MSNBC, but he also share his cuteness around to a few other networks, He seems to have some inside connections with Republican members of Congress. He definitely PING PING PING's the gaydar but a few weeks ago he married Betsy Woodruff, reported of the Daily Beast. She also is frequently on MSNBC. She is pretty in an Olive Oil kind of way.

When did he move to the US? His Australian accent is strong and so I imagine he was adult when he came here. Since he surfaced as a TV pundit—I first saw him on Bill Maher’s show several years ago—he has had exclusive insider information about Trump and his cronies. Where does he get that information? He is young.

Since the advent of Milo Yiannopoulos, I distrust young immigrant reporters for obscure-and-then-suddenly-not-obscure outlets who have access to the deepest political networks. Swann clearly has a lot of deep access. He reports mainly through liberal outlets, but his scoops are all about Republicans in the Trump admin. 🤔

When I think “Australia and news,” I think Rupert Murdoch. Murdoch owns Fox News, Murdoch’s ex-wife Wendy Deng is Ivanka Trump’s self-reported best friend, and Jonathan Swann just seems like a jocky Australian Jared to me.

Also, Axios is not a liberal outlet. It's a centrist, Beltway outlet in the Morning Joe vein. Which is probably part of why Jared agreed to be interviewed by them, since he very much sees himself as a cosmopolitan moderate from New York City.
