Seriously, this guy is a mystery. He’s hot, he’s talented, he’s capable, he’s willing to do whatever it takes, and yet his career is shit. Outside of Marvel movies and I, Tonya what has he done that’s of note? It feels like he should have a bigger career, which begs the question, who did he piss off? Does anybody know what Seb Stan did or didn’t do to get as ignored by Hollywood as he is? Why isn’t he getting offered better roles?
Who?

He looks like Euro-trash.

He has a much better career than most working actors. Why does Datalounge expect any actor who is not an A-list multiple Oscar winner to be a failure?

That should be consider, not expect, of course.

R3 That’s a ridiculously low bar, though. I always hear “well 99% of actors are unemployed so he should be grateful to even be working” but that’s unfair considering how many goddamn actors there are out there. If you rank it like that then the people starring in Hallmark Christmas movies are actors who’ve made it big.

He's a dime-a-dozen in Hollywood!

5 known actors have the same face.

R2 and he seems queenier when he speaks his mother tongue (Romanian).

Are you kidding? How many of the Gossip Gurls have a movie career?

He’s starring in an upcoming Vietnam War flick, The Last Full Measure; one of his costars is fellow gay-in-hiding Jeremy Irvine.

Irvine has such backpfeifengesicht, the straights can have him.

Hollywood has changed. There are no stars any longer, just working actors. No one is polarizing. There is no mystique to them. They are all over exposed because of the internet. The whole culture and concept of the Movie Star is dead. Meh, just leak your boner pic and get back in line.

The whole Movie Star culture was cancer to begin with and I'm glad the profession has been demystified and deglamorised. Now dock their pay and distribute the money more evenly among the crew and the creatives...

He's done Broadway twice, [italic]Talk Radio[/italic] (with Liev Schreiber) and [italic]Picnic[/italic] with Ellen Burstyn, so maybe he can actually act?

Any actor who earns a consistent living by acting has made it big.

His mother named him after the gay saint. She must have had a premonition.

Got the impression he wanted Jimmy Wolk’s dick in POLITICAL ANIMALS.

I once suspected he had a thing with Jon K. They were in a few pics together and Seb liked all of his Insta posts.

Oh girls, he's just DREAMY (and a little bit DANGEROUS), and he DOES IT for me bigtime!
That's my two cents.

r5 a working actor is not necessarily in big movies. Most working actors do quite well in commercial work, touring theater etc. I have a friend who is a working actor, he does regional commercials, some national work as well - gets day player and under 5 work on the LA soaps, and he makes a really good living.
