I'm a DNP and as nurses from registered nurses to advanced practitioners, we do have to adhere to code of ethics. These COE's cover both clinical and ethical concerns, and I can tell you that this MF is breaking at least 4 of them that I could think of. Maybe the physician COE's are more lax or he's just a dumbass by being public with his corporate whoring. I don't know, but I do know that I would never trust someone like this with my care, he's likely a sociopath. Sadly there are many sociopaths in the medical/ healthcare field, I've come across many in my over 10 years of practice.

I've been on multiple ends of healthcare, as patient, caregiver for my late mother, and as RN/ DNP. It's never crossed my mind to behave or even think about exploiting others' pain and distress like this asshole has done. It's not okay, and it's not representative of how most of us in healthcare think and behave.
