Mayor Pete vs Beto

The sexual tension overheated.

by Anonymousreply 106October 29, 2019 6:34 AM

Christ, you’re tedious.

by Anonymousreply 1October 17, 2019 11:18 AM

Battle for anal dominance.

by Anonymousreply 2October 17, 2019 11:21 AM

Loved that smackdown. He was goading him on Twitter for a week before the debate, the little Twitter warrior that he is.

by Anonymousreply 3October 17, 2019 11:21 AM

Millennial-vs-GenX violence

by Anonymousreply 4October 17, 2019 11:21 AM

I'd never seen him get so feisty!

by Anonymousreply 5October 17, 2019 11:31 AM

Pete was triggered by everything that's wrong with this picture

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 6October 17, 2019 11:35 AM

Pete was jealous he wasn't invited to that little powwow, R6.

by Anonymousreply 7October 17, 2019 11:40 AM

And a pretty good burn here.

Mayor Pete vs Warren

Buttigieg: Warren more specific on selfies than healthcare

by Anonymousreply 8October 17, 2019 11:57 AM

Beto should step aside till 2024.

by Anonymousreply 9October 17, 2019 12:04 PM

Beto makes some great points. Why should he step aside?

by Anonymousreply 10October 17, 2019 12:20 PM

Which studio should I write to in order to get this porn parody made? Who should star?

by Anonymousreply 11October 17, 2019 12:22 PM

Beto should step aside because it’s really hurting the people that can win.

The debates are each candidate talking for two seconds, and as a result no one has any time to articulate anything and there’s too much elbow-throwing. Gabbard should go, but she won’t, since she’s a Russian asset and most of her support is probably Russian. They have bottomless pockets. Steyer and several others should go. Today.

by Anonymousreply 12October 17, 2019 12:25 PM

Stupid reasoning,R12.

by Anonymousreply 13October 17, 2019 1:26 PM

If Pete says “when I served” one more fucking time, I’m going to punch him in the neck.

by Anonymousreply 14October 17, 2019 3:06 PM

They should hatefuck and get it over with.

by Anonymousreply 15October 17, 2019 7:44 PM

r13, Don't delude yourself. Pete can't win either.

by Anonymousreply 16October 17, 2019 7:55 PM

I meant r12 in above post.

by Anonymousreply 17October 17, 2019 7:56 PM

Some receptive anal intercourse might be in order

by Anonymousreply 18October 17, 2019 8:15 PM

In the end Pete will bottom.

by Anonymousreply 19October 17, 2019 8:28 PM

Watch it, R14. If he stops talking about his military service, he'll start invoking Jesus.

by Anonymousreply 20October 17, 2019 8:34 PM

Who would play them in a porn parody?

by Anonymousreply 21October 17, 2019 8:46 PM

Excellent question. I can’t think of a porn actor tall enough to play Beto.

by Anonymousreply 22October 17, 2019 8:59 PM

JJ Knight for Beto.

Austin Young for Buttigieg.

by Anonymousreply 23October 17, 2019 8:59 PM

Will Braun for Buttigieg.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 24October 17, 2019 9:01 PM

LOL.. R24 I was gonna say that.

by Anonymousreply 25October 17, 2019 9:12 PM

Austin Young, no way. He looks like he’s 9.

by Anonymousreply 26October 17, 2019 10:38 PM

I’m not sure I see Will Braun for Pete either. What is JJ Knight’s accent like? You can’t have Beto sounding like he’s from the Bronx.

by Anonymousreply 27October 17, 2019 10:40 PM

Who would play Chasten?

by Anonymousreply 28October 17, 2019 10:42 PM

Chase Young to play Mayor Pete.

He's Maltese, has boyish looks, and can definitely ride big cocks.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 29October 18, 2019 12:29 AM

Chase Young is a possibility, but Mayor Pete is a top. He’d have to fuck the actor playing Chasten, at the very least.

by Anonymousreply 30October 18, 2019 1:17 AM

The Maltese Bottom

by Anonymousreply 31October 18, 2019 1:18 AM

JJ Knight is Southern (Tennessee?).

by Anonymousreply 32October 18, 2019 1:24 AM

It is imperative that the "versus" stuff be dropped.

Trump is going to WIN, if all voting Democrats do not support the nominated Democratic candidate, regardless of who it is!

by Anonymousreply 33October 18, 2019 1:42 AM

Agreed, R33. I’ll vote for the Democratic nominee and straight down the ticket, but I know that for my friends who are wavering, the talk about reparations and decriminalizing unauthorized border entries is a huge turn-off. I’m glad that all that has died down for now.

by Anonymousreply 34October 18, 2019 1:45 AM

[quote] . He’d have to fuck the actor playing Chasten, at the very least.

There will not be any Chasten troll in this film. A porn film is meant to make you horny not sick!

Anyway, we need a tall lanky guy to play Beto. JJ knight is not lanky nor tall.

by Anonymousreply 35October 18, 2019 1:48 AM

Chasten is adorable. Perhaps Ian Levine could play him.

by Anonymousreply 36October 18, 2019 2:23 AM

Chasten is a troll and has no place in a Pete/Beto porn film.

by Anonymousreply 37October 18, 2019 7:39 AM

Veto is swxy, but God, is he stupid.

by Anonymousreply 38October 18, 2019 9:46 AM

Beto is sexy..

by Anonymousreply 39October 18, 2019 9:47 AM

Mayor Pete and Beto should oil wrestle in jocks, loser gets fucked.

by Anonymousreply 40October 18, 2019 10:21 AM

It's a huge turn-off for your friends who do not know the meaning of the word "decriminalize."

by Anonymousreply 41October 18, 2019 11:32 AM

Beto is so dumb that I almost felt sorry for him after the last debate. He's no match for Pete.

by Anonymousreply 42October 18, 2019 7:06 PM

Doesn't JJ Knight have a JD?

Buttigieg is obviously a big ol' bottom.

by Anonymousreply 47October 18, 2019 9:00 PM

Pete thought he was a top, until he and Beto were alone.

by Anonymousreply 48October 18, 2019 9:29 PM

by Anonymousreply 50October 18, 2019 10:53 PM

by Anonymousreply 51October 18, 2019 11:29 PM

I got a Warren robo text today. I texted I'm supporting Pete in the Nevada Caucus.

by Anonymousreply 52October 19, 2019 1:50 AM

Another bullshit article, r45. Go back to worshipping your super duper progressive candidate who will get absolutely nothing done once in office (but that would be no different from Bernie's career up to now). God forbid someone be a pragmatist and try to actually get something done even if it's not every little thing you've ever wished for.

by Anonymousreply 53October 19, 2019 8:11 AM

Nasty little schnauzer. I could see him as the manoeuvring Chief of Staff to Uncle Joe’s decrepit President.

by Anonymousreply 54October 19, 2019 9:10 AM

Oh, dear. The trolls are all here, lol.

by Anonymousreply 55October 19, 2019 8:54 PM

Where are the trolls?

Send in the trolls

Don't bother, they're here.

by Anonymousreply 56October 20, 2019 12:23 PM

Mayor Pete now on CNN’s “State of the Union” with daddy Jake Tapper. Now there’s some eye candies.

R53 you're trying to spout this holier-than-thou self-righteous crap in a thread that's talking about them FUCKING?

You're a bigger moron than I gave you credit for.

by Anonymousreply 58October 20, 2019 1:42 PM

R46, totally agree.

by Anonymousreply 59October 20, 2019 1:58 PM

this is really a waste of time. Pete is a nice guy and a good politician but he isnt going to be the nominee or probably the vp cand and the other one is something of a loser. It looks fairly clear to me, Warren will be the nominee which I am really ok with.

by Anonymousreply 60October 20, 2019 2:38 PM

I don’t think Pete reads as “nice” at all. He’s a nasty sniping little cunt.

Fuck Tulsi Gabbard, the Russian agent, R62, and fuck you for wanting Pete to defend her against that meanie, Hillary.

by Anonymousreply 63October 20, 2019 9:13 PM

Why should Pete get in the middle of Tulsi’s argument with Hillary? Tulsi’s polling at 1%. Pete’s got better things to do.

by Anonymousreply 64October 20, 2019 10:31 PM

AOC slaps down Pete for protecting "big money politics".

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 65October 20, 2019 11:03 PM

Beto goaded Pete first with that crack about “doing what’s right, not what the polls and focus groups say.” Pete lashed back lightning-quick, didn’t miss a beat or bat an eye. I’d love to see him in a debate with Trump, one on one. He’d eviscerate the orange moron.

by Anonymousreply 66October 20, 2019 11:12 PM

Jezebel has a bizarre obsession with trashing Buttigieg.

I couldn't care less who AOC endorses.

by Anonymousreply 67October 20, 2019 11:16 PM

[quote] for my friends who are wavering, the talk about reparations and decriminalizing unauthorized border entries is a huge turn-off.

Wait till next year. The fools will be falling all over each other demanding decriminalization of border crossings, free health care for all immigrants, etc. and challenging each other to see who can speak the best Spanish, who will do the MOST for the poor immigrants and throwing out that “give us your huddled masses” crap.

by Anonymousreply 68October 20, 2019 11:23 PM

R65 I like AOC but she’s backing a crippled horse.

by Anonymousreply 69October 20, 2019 11:34 PM

She’s not “basically” a high school drop out, she IS a high school drop out.

by Anonymousreply 70October 21, 2019 2:26 PM

She's not a drop out in any way.

by Anonymousreply 71October 21, 2019 2:35 PM

I cannot wait until AOC gets exactly what she deserves. Nothing.

by Anonymousreply 72October 21, 2019 2:38 PM

Pete’s moved up +7 in the Iowa caucus polls. He’s third now. Beto’s not on the list.

by Anonymousreply 73October 21, 2019 4:56 PM

She is literally a high school drop out.

by Anonymousreply 74October 27, 2019 2:52 PM

Beto needs two more polls by midnight on November 13th or he won't make the next debate. If he doesn't, it's pretty much over for him because he wanted to run his campaign nationally and like r73 pointed out, he doesn't register in Iowa at all. And his favorability ratings over there are in the toilet as well.

He might follow Castro's example and start quietly campaigning to become Warren's VP.

by Anonymousreply 75October 27, 2019 3:03 PM

Warren's not going to be the nominee. She's terrible at perception and messaging. Neither will the two geezers Biden and Bernie.

by Anonymousreply 76October 28, 2019 6:45 AM

Akin to another poster on another thread, I was agnostic about Pete in the beginning.

But after studying him and his ascent up the corporate dem ladder (Zuck, Wintour, and other pseudo-dems) along with his increasingly smug and insulting comments, and experience on a very small playing field, he's lost my vote.

Beto - for all his challenges - at least does not appear disingenuous like Pete. He appears to have a heart. Pete is ever more seeming like the player. To play the corporate game. I don't trust him.

by Anonymousreply 77October 28, 2019 8:15 AM

Pete has the ambition. Beto has the heart.

The sexual tension is palpable.

by Anonymousreply 78October 28, 2019 8:34 AM

[quote]Beto - for all his challenges - at least does not appear disingenuous like Pete.

Well, Beto was born for this.

by Anonymousreply 79October 28, 2019 9:57 AM

Beto’s a politically tone-deaf buffoon. I’m voting for Pete. He’s progressive but smart enough to make it sound moderate. We can’t win without the middle of the country.

by Anonymousreply 80October 28, 2019 10:06 AM

[quote] He’s progressive but smart enough to make it sound moderate. We can’t win without the middle of the country.

Disagree. Don't find Pete progressive.....at all. If he's so "progressive", how come he wasn't honest about his sexuality?

And why does everyone settle by saying we can't win because of ___(fill in the blank but usually, other red-leaning voters?)

Why do people settle for right-wing democrats?

The USA has become ever more right wing, and it's not just the Republicans.

by Anonymousreply 81October 28, 2019 10:38 AM

This whole "get the assault weapons back" theme is basically worthless in my opinion. If they actually figured out a way to get all the known assault weapons back from everyone who currently owns them the only people who would end up still with assault weapons would be the criminals with unregistered assault weapons.

IMO gun control is something that will have to happen over time. Ban assault weapon sales, have a voluntary buyback, confiscate them from criminals when they're found, and implement VERY STRONG background checks for all gun buyers, and most importantly DESTROY THE NRA!

by Anonymousreply 82October 28, 2019 10:55 AM

[quote]why does everyone settle by saying we can't win because of ___(fill in the blank but usually, other red-leaning voters?)

All the people at the top of the race have flaws, the biggest one is that they don't appeal to the groups (working class, southern whites, black voters) needed to win in 2020

by Anonymousreply 83October 28, 2019 10:55 AM

[quote] All the people at the top of the race have flaws, the biggest one is that they don't appeal to the groups (working class, southern whites, black voters) needed to win in 2020

Understood.

But the question is: why do individuals in the USA always temper their aspirations based on what they PERCEIVE others are going to do? (Considering "the flaws" as not appealing to other voters.)

It's similar to going to all the effort to run for an office and then spend all the time discussing what CANNOT be done.

It's a self - defeating, self - fulfilling, illogical undertaking.

Why do it?

by Anonymousreply 84October 28, 2019 11:37 AM

[quote]right-wing democrats

by Anonymousreply 85October 28, 2019 12:31 PM

Actually, Beto is the one who is disingenuous. Pete has never changed his political positions (despite quite a few smears to the contrary). Beto changes like the wind in order to revive his dying campaign. He was against mandatory buybacks until the El Paso shooting. Everything with him reeks of desperation. I don't know if he's poorly advised (probably) or just a shitty candidate, but this campaign is an example of what not to do.

by Anonymousreply 86October 28, 2019 2:58 PM

What? R85?

It is an unfortunate truth, though in the USA. Corporate Dems [aka Pete et al] are just that.

by Anonymousreply 87October 28, 2019 2:59 PM

[quote]Pete has never changed his political positions

Not here to defend Beto.

But were you aware that Pete is a corporate shill? I wasn't. And his Zuck affiliation does him no favors.

Perhaps should have suspected it about Pete, though. Did not he come out of the closet recently? And work for the slimy company: McKinsey, or something?

by Anonymousreply 88October 28, 2019 3:07 PM

Oh, R88! You should have started right there. They are both reptillian.

That's why, find it interesting to see the Pete backers here.

Perhaps it shouldn't be so surprising, though: identity politics.

No. Not into shooting. Although perhaps that's part of your belief system?

Nice that Pete's gay. A musician. A polyglot.

Trump's a businessman. Carter was a peanut farmer. Reagan was an actor.

Does that qualify them for the presidency?

Apparently, you....and many others seem to think so.

Perhaps that's why the governmental system in the US seems so broken.

(And PS: you've lost the plot when you resort to name-calling. Does little to nothing for your narrative.)

by Anonymousreply 99October 28, 2019 6:57 PM

Pete is far more mature plus likeable than Mr Born to It. But they are both kidding themselves and stringing along their supporters and contributors to think either is ready for the presidency.
