WHET 'The Mighty Ducks'?

27 years on, only a few of the kid actors stayed in acting getting profile work - basically just Kenan (Thompson), Josh (Jackson), Jussie Smollett & Elden Henson. Emilio is a vintner now, and as we all know Aaron Lohr married Idina in a power move. Someone on DL posted years ago that they knew Vince (Larusso) tended bar out in WeHo for years and that he's gay but no-one ever verified that.

Last I saw of the Flock was during Valentines' week 2017 when the writer/directors & producer joined a dozen of the actors for a Silver anniversary screening & commemorative charity game (Q&A at the link). My first thought seeing it was that Lohr is still hot and I'd totally bang him, but he walks in dishevelled as well as late so maybe one of the Ducks beat me to it while they were backstage.

Did anyone truly believe that being in that movie would lead to great careers?

There's talk of a live-action Ducks tv series for a new generation so I guess there's more to milk from this particular stone, but then that idea has been greenlit for a decade and endlessly put on hold (most recently for the High School Musical 'scripted reality' series). For context the first Ducks movie from 1992 took less than six months to write up and put in pre-production from scratch.

The OG cast have been having little mini get-togethers on social media for the last 5 years even around families and long distances, so it's still clearly a popular thing with fans and close to the actors' hearts. I'd prefer to see a drama series or one-off tv special showing the adulthood of the recognisable '90s Ducks over a bunch of new little Zoomers, but Disney want their ca$hcow milked so that's that.

Always makes me titter to remember that Spazway & Banksy wore the numbers 96 & 99 respectively. Put 'em together and...

Fulton & Portman were fucking too imo. I have my suspicions about dykey reserve Julie - she didn't get the 'Cat' nickname for nothing.

According to Elden Henson (yes, Foggy from DAREDEVIL) who played metalhead enforcer Fulton Reed (#44), the likely adult career of his character Fulton (& Dean, Fulton's line partner/best friend on the team) is very unexpected and very gay. Good for him.

[quote] HENSON: I think they teach Jazzercise to old ladies in Florida. ("They never went pro?")....No.

Marguerite Moreau did WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER and was in SHAMELESS. People know who she is.

She is coming up 43 years old and still so youthfully gorgeous. Is it because she’s French? I have no idea how her fuggo husband landed her.

She seems like a fun woman, too.
