Who is the "Beloved Actor" with fucked up skeletons in his closet?

Take with a grain of salt, but this is mighty interesting. She ruled out Tom Hanks, who was the obvious guess. What really stands out is her claim people will not go on the record due to being terrified.

I hate to say it but maybe Morgan Freeman? Stuff is out there about him but it never seems to go mainstream. He was banging his step granddaughter if I recall. It sucks because I really liked him.

by Anonymousreply 1October 8, 2019 12:41 AM

Though this sounds like possibly someone even more powerful tbh. R1

by Anonymousreply 2October 8, 2019 12:43 AM

R1 that story died suspiciously quickly, yes.

by Anonymousreply 3October 8, 2019 12:43 AM

What James Franco stuff is she referring to -- is there new stuff in recent days? I haven't heard.

by Anonymousreply 4October 8, 2019 12:44 AM

I'm guessing DeNiro because of the drug rumors as well as rumors of sex with young girls in France who would be considered underaged in the U.S.

by Anonymousreply 5October 8, 2019 12:44 AM

Maybe it wasn't true? (crosses fingers)

by Anonymousreply 6October 8, 2019 12:45 AM

Will Smith

by Anonymousreply 7October 8, 2019 12:45 AM

Harrison Ford.

by Anonymousreply 8October 8, 2019 12:52 AM

Rumors are that DeNiro chose to talk about his gay dad to the press in order to bury a story about himself.

by Anonymousreply 9October 8, 2019 1:03 AM

Is DeNiro “beloved” though? Beloved makes me think of someone with a warm, likable persona. Hanks and Freeman I’d describe as beloved. DeNiro and Nicholson are too coarse.

by Anonymousreply 10October 8, 2019 1:04 AM

Michael j Fox

by Anonymousreply 11October 8, 2019 1:05 AM

Clint Eastwood?

by Anonymousreply 12October 8, 2019 1:06 AM

John Cusack

by Anonymousreply 13October 8, 2019 1:08 AM

If they won't name the person at least name the things, or some of the things, they've done.

by Anonymousreply 14October 8, 2019 1:09 AM

Is the word “Beloved” a huge hint? As in the movie Beloved?

by Anonymousreply 15October 8, 2019 1:10 AM

Isn't Hugh Jackmann well liked in the industry?

by Anonymousreply 16October 8, 2019 1:12 AM

It’s probably Morgan Freeman. I’ve heard a first hand account from a woman who said he was extremely perverse and misogynistic, apparently he really gave her the creeps.

by Anonymousreply 17October 8, 2019 1:12 AM

I hope it’s not Keanu Reeves.

by Anonymousreply 18October 8, 2019 1:13 AM

It’s Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 19October 8, 2019 1:13 AM

It’s Ryan O’Neal

by Anonymousreply 20October 8, 2019 1:14 AM

R20 Lmao!

by Anonymousreply 21October 8, 2019 1:15 AM

I immediately thought Keanu Reeves, but I hope I’m wrong.

by Anonymousreply 22October 8, 2019 1:16 AM

Who could be more shocking than Bill Cosby?

by Anonymousreply 23October 8, 2019 1:16 AM

It's Mister Adam Sandler.

by Anonymousreply 24October 8, 2019 1:18 AM

Kirk Douglas

by Anonymousreply 25October 8, 2019 1:19 AM

George Clooney?

by Anonymousreply 26October 8, 2019 1:20 AM

Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 27October 8, 2019 1:21 AM

Danny Thomas, of course.

by Anonymousreply 28October 8, 2019 1:21 AM

The only real fucked up I could imagine is someone who infects his sex partners with HIV or beats his spouse almost to death. Everything else, including incest, kinky sex and drug use are not really shocking these days.

by Anonymousreply 29October 8, 2019 1:23 AM

Boy, OP's chick is really pulling an obnoxious Cindy Brady act.

"I've got a thecret! I've got a thecret!.... That'th for ME to know, and YOU to find out!"

by Anonymousreply 30October 8, 2019 1:29 AM

I hope she isn't talking about Michael Jackson.

by Anonymousreply 31October 8, 2019 1:29 AM

DL doesn't think so, but Denzell IS beloved and revered.

by Anonymousreply 32October 8, 2019 1:29 AM

* With one el.

by Anonymousreply 33October 8, 2019 1:30 AM

Is this about Alan Ladd and the circle of singing women?

by Anonymousreply 34October 8, 2019 1:30 AM

I'm really wondering if it's George Clooney. But really it could be quite a few of them. The rich and famous are allowed to get away with a lot of crap.

by Anonymousreply 35October 8, 2019 1:34 AM

Everyone knows that Denzel fucks around on his wife who gave up her career for him. It wouldn't be a shocking revelation.

by Anonymousreply 36October 8, 2019 1:35 AM

Jerry Stiller.

by Anonymousreply 37October 8, 2019 1:37 AM

Mr. Alan Alda

by Anonymousreply 38October 8, 2019 1:38 AM

Something about her writing style sets off my bullshit radar. 'This is extremelyserious, y'all!'. Hm....

And she asks people to DM her if they aren't 'scared of trying to report on this one.' How are people supposed to decide if they'd report on 'this one' if she doesn't say who it is?

by Anonymousreply 39October 8, 2019 1:38 AM

"Is this about Alan Ladd and the circle of singing women?"

Explain, please!

by Anonymousreply 40October 8, 2019 1:41 AM

The only Beloved with a capital B actor I can think of is Sidney Poitier; he is literally the living patron saint of Black Hollywood. Imagine Oprah, Spike Lee, Jada Pinkett-Smith, et al whipping the masses into a frenzy over *that* accusation, now that he's in his final years! I can see how anyone would be scared to talk, if it were indeed him.

by Anonymousreply 41October 8, 2019 1:41 AM

I think she's fishing. She's hoping someone with real dirt contacts her and says, "I know you're talking about XXX. Let me tell you what he did to me!" That way she can get a lead without doing much leg work.

by Anonymousreply 42October 8, 2019 1:42 AM

^ I don't know, there are parts of it that ring true. It's hard to write anything that's scandalous about true icons - people don't want to believe it, so you get trashed even if what you are writing is 100% true. My bf is a blogger and has been doing some digging on a man who is truly an icon - not an actor or someone in showbiz, but a guy everyone would know. This man is dead but if you printed something bad about him you would be excoriated.

by Anonymousreply 43October 8, 2019 1:46 AM

DiCaprio? There's definitely something off with him. And I've actually seen some pretty creepy pics of him with his hand around a woman's neck. There were other people nearby and they might have been just clowning about, but when I first saw those pics I was like, wtf. Not sure if I'd still call him beloved, though. Mega famous and powerful, yes, but his interview persona is not charming or likeable, and people have been calling him a creep for years.

by Anonymousreply 44October 8, 2019 1:48 AM

George Arliss

by Anonymousreply 54October 8, 2019 2:07 AM

Johnny Depp of course. A terrifying guy. Vanessa was a surrendered wife.

by Anonymousreply 55October 8, 2019 2:08 AM

Mark Harmon?

by Anonymousreply 56October 8, 2019 2:08 AM

r55, Depp has already been accused of bad behavior, this is someone who would surprise people

by Anonymousreply 57October 8, 2019 2:10 AM

Seinfeld, that pedo fuck.

by Anonymousreply 58October 8, 2019 2:10 AM

R24 Yes, I think you got the right answer. I was reading about him last week. I think his ‘perfect father, husband’ facade is going to come crashing down on his empire (tower of destruction). His partnership with Netflix has been terminated for his jerky attitude.

by Anonymousreply 59October 8, 2019 2:11 AM

Harrison Ford? He's someone you don't read a lot of bad things about.

by Anonymousreply 60October 8, 2019 2:14 AM

Harrison must be brutal. Calista doesn't stay skeletal for nothing.

by Anonymousreply 61October 8, 2019 2:20 AM

Yawn. So tired of this lurid gossip baiting. Either at least give a hint as to what this supposedly awful behavior is or say nothing . It's difficult to judge without even slight details. It's very hard to know how seriously to take this when even the slightest misbehavior involving sex is automatically considered The Most Serious And Terrible Thing On The Face of The Planet among this generation. And if you even suggest that perhaps there is a spectrum of severity when it comes to sex misconduct, you will be met with howls of outrage.

Too bad the twitterati can't take all that outraged energy and focus on things like income inequality and reducing poverty. Yeah sexual misconduct is bad but I'm sick of it receiving 100 percent of media and activists focus when there are problems just as serious if not more so facing this country that no one can seem to muster two fucks about.

by Anonymousreply 62October 8, 2019 2:21 AM

"Too bad the twitterati can't take all that outraged energy and focus on things like income inequality and reducing poverty. Yeah sexual misconduct is bad but I'm sick of it receiving 100 percent of media and activists focus when there are problems just as serious if not more so facing this country that no one can seem to muster two fucks about."

Yes, no one has EVER written about poverty or income inequality! Never! If you don't read about those things it's probably because you get your news from conservative blogs. You certainly sound like a freeper with your your sexist whining and your hysteria over "this generation"

by Anonymousreply 63October 8, 2019 2:26 AM

I was also thinking either Sidney Poitier or Michael J. Fox...maybe more hints will be dropped.

by Anonymousreply 64October 8, 2019 2:28 AM

I'm thinking Sidney Poitier or Morgan Freeman as well. If people are truly as reluctant to touch that story as she claims, I can imagine there's a factor that makes them hesitate apart from what he did (like causing a racial controversy). Because if it's "just" another old white man behaving horribly, it's not like that never happened. I mean, there would be people refusing to believe it, like for example with Woody Allen, but I think it would get at least reported. Especially since so many old white men have been exposed recently.

by Anonymousreply 65October 8, 2019 2:38 AM

No one under 50 knows who the fuck Sidney Poitier is . He may be revered, but when I think "beloved" I think somone who is universally liked, and he only appeals to a small portion over all. I think its Will Smith.

by Anonymousreply 66October 8, 2019 2:42 AM

R63 Actually I'm the furthest thing from a freeper and I have zero interest in right wing blogs. And I reiterate that (1) these cases should be discussed but they receive a disproportionate amount of focus compared to other issues. Yes ,poverty and income inequality are discussed but they don't seem to receive the same level of outrage or calls for change. (2) There is absolutely a spectrum in how serious these cases are. They are not all equal. Without specifics I'm not going to assume that someone engaged in truly awful behavior just because a twitter comment says so.

by Anonymousreply 67October 8, 2019 2:42 AM

It's Danny Kaye, that glass bottomed prevert.

by Anonymousreply 68October 8, 2019 2:45 AM

Of course people under 50 know who Poitier is

And r67 definitely sounds like a freeper. You think there is no outrage over income inequality? Then you need to watch something other than Fox News and read something other than Newsmax. Bashing the #metoo movement is for the same type of guys who cheer on Trump's pussygrabbing.

by Anonymousreply 69October 8, 2019 2:45 AM

Times up M! Beloved my ass!

by Anonymousreply 70October 8, 2019 2:49 AM

Here’s a connection about Adam Sandler and ‘beloved’

[quote] Wikipedia › wiki › Beloved_(1998_... Web results Beloved (1998 film) - Wikipedia Beloved is a 1998 American horror drama film directed by Jonathan Demme and .... a number of situations—but the Walt Disney company wanted those theaters for Adam Sandler's Waterboy.

by Anonymousreply 71October 8, 2019 2:50 AM

I hope it’s Kirk Cameron and he is exposed and canceled.

by Anonymousreply 72October 8, 2019 2:57 AM

"Beloved' actor, Danny Glover?

by Anonymousreply 73October 8, 2019 3:00 AM

I was on the Daily Fail recently (yesterday, maybe?) and saw this article about Adam Sandler and how he's "supporting" his daughters' dreams of becoming celebrities themselves, and I just thought it was so odd. It was like, "Since when does the Daily Mail write about people like Adam Sandler, and who the hell would want to read about him and his family anyway?" Maybe he's trying to get out in front of something?

by Anonymousreply 74October 8, 2019 3:03 AM

by Anonymousreply 77October 8, 2019 3:16 AM

"Beloved Actor" refers only to a man?

by Anonymousreply 78October 8, 2019 3:16 AM

r78, read the original post. The actor has skeletons "in his closet"

by Anonymousreply 79October 8, 2019 3:17 AM

It’s Freeman. It’ll all come out eventually anyway.

by Anonymousreply 80October 8, 2019 3:23 AM

Freeman definitely fucked his granddaughter, and probably came inside her

But my vote is still for Meryl.

by Anonymousreply 81October 8, 2019 3:28 AM

It's Lassie. That bitch was really a cross dressing male dog. He had his way with both Rin Tin Tin and Benji.

by Anonymousreply 83October 8, 2019 3:36 AM

jokes aside, I actually believe every bad thing about Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 84October 8, 2019 3:37 AM

by Anonymousreply 85October 8, 2019 3:42 AM

R55 Lol . He hasn't been beloved in ages.

by Anonymousreply 86October 8, 2019 5:01 AM

Is this Twitter chick black? Then it’s Denzel, Morgan or Sidney Poitier who I thought was dead.

Kerry Washington

by Anonymousreply 91October 8, 2019 5:30 AM

Jack Nicholson

by Anonymousreply 92October 8, 2019 5:42 AM

Robert Downey Jr.

He is beloved by a lot of little kids who think of Ironman as a hero, and are too young to know anything about his younger days.

by Anonymousreply 93October 8, 2019 5:44 AM

She literally said it’s a GUY, so these female guesses are stupid. She also said BELOVED, and so many listed here are not. She specifically said it’s notTom Hanks, yet idiots keep throwing out his name.

I think it has to be Morgan Freeman — if it’s anyone at all. Why she needs to tweet for help n the story is the question. If she ‘bows so much, she can write the damn story herself instead of acting like there will be a hit on her.

She has onl6 14k Twitter followers, so She’s not some big deal. Dropping blind hints like she’s done is pathetic, and is as bad as all the Toothy Tile stuff from the past.

by Anonymousreply 94October 8, 2019 5:45 AM

by Anonymousreply 95October 8, 2019 5:57 AM

by Anonymousreply 96October 8, 2019 5:57 AM

by Anonymousreply 97October 8, 2019 6:11 AM

For those who keep guessing Tom Hanks - she specifically stated it wasn't Hanks or Goldblum in the Comments.

by Anonymousreply 98October 8, 2019 6:23 AM

Agree it's probably Tom Hanks. He's very much beloved.

by Anonymousreply 99October 8, 2019 6:32 AM

"Beloved" is a hint that it's Oprah.

by Anonymousreply 100October 8, 2019 6:36 AM

Eastwood.

by Anonymousreply 101October 8, 2019 6:39 AM

Kirk Douglas, maybe. I don't know how "beloved" he is but he is iconic and his history is appalling.

It's not Sidney Poitier.

Could be Morgan Freeman.

It would help to know if he's dead or alive and the nature of his creepiness, what form it takes.

by Anonymousreply 102October 8, 2019 6:44 AM

It's obviously Morgan Freeman.

Next.

by Anonymousreply 103October 8, 2019 6:50 AM

Please not Tom Hanks. Leave us someone wholesome to look up to! x

by Anonymousreply 104October 8, 2019 6:51 AM

I doubt it's Freeman or Poitier. American society wouldn't think twice about discarding and ostracizing any actor of color, no matter how beloved he might be. White Americans only have problems processing the truth when it comes to their white icons. Given the tone of her post and the wording used I think it has to be someone white whom Americans worship and would never believe the rumors about.

by Anonymousreply 105October 8, 2019 6:52 AM

Tom Cruise

Is it Tom Hanks? I feel like it’s Tom Hanks!

by Anonymousreply 115October 8, 2019 11:15 AM

20 years plus ago, there were serious rumors about DeNiro (and Scorsese) leaving the country for some young poontang. That said, my guess is Morgan Freeman. He played God, for heaven's sake!

by Anonymousreply 116October 8, 2019 11:42 AM

For God's sake people, learn to read. The author SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED TOM HANKS. IT IS NOT HIM.

by Anonymousreply 117October 8, 2019 11:44 AM

Alicia Lutes, the author of this tweet, is notoriously bad with impulse control (look at her past twitter). Her past twitter behavior makes her seem imbalanced. Not to say I don't believe her, per se, but the GRAVITY OH MY GOD OF THIS is coming from a woman who, in general, approaches EVERYTHING (like, even a hangnail) with that sort of fervor. Moral of the story: it's probably a scandal, but not as big as she's making it.

by Anonymousreply 118October 8, 2019 12:17 PM

Has anybody said Tom Hanks?

by Anonymousreply 119October 8, 2019 1:03 PM

Love you, R119.

by Anonymousreply 120October 8, 2019 1:06 PM

So? No good guesses?

by Anonymousreply 121October 8, 2019 1:11 PM

Nothing in that crazy woman's posts would require that this beloved actor be living. Just an actor and beloved.

So now we can open this wide!

I think it is George Burns or, possibly, Jimmy Durante. Who is more beloved than Jimmy Durante? Well, maybe Groucho Marx.

by Anonymousreply 122October 8, 2019 2:36 PM

Another guess for Danny Glover

by Anonymousreply 123October 8, 2019 2:42 PM

Was the skeleton Mr. Immerhoffer’s?

by Anonymousreply 124October 8, 2019 2:51 PM

Dick Van Dyke is beloved, And a recovered alcoholic. Perhaps he fucked those kids in the back of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang after he beat up Sally Anne Holmes while he was on a bender.

by Anonymousreply 125October 8, 2019 3:55 PM

I wonder if it could be Ian McKellen. He did try to bizarrely excuse Singer and Spacey's shit recently, and he's certainly well-liked and respected. That would really suck.

by Anonymousreply 126October 8, 2019 3:56 PM

R125 That fits in a lot of ways. A lot of people would be horrified to find out bad shit about him.

by Anonymousreply 127October 8, 2019 3:57 PM

My child heart would break if it was Dick Van Dyke but he fits the bill. Is Anthony Hopkins beloved?

by Anonymousreply 128October 8, 2019 4:01 PM

The Dalai Lama. I mean, I don't hope he did anything but who is beloved? With no rumors?

Imagine it's the DL? We know what Gandhi was up to, sleeping with young girls to build up his resistance to temptation. (Practice makes perfect I guess.)

I hate reverence. Down with all reverence. I can make room for art if we stop with the adoration.

by Anonymousreply 129October 8, 2019 4:11 PM

I know the DL isn't an actor; I mean, someone of his caliber. But who?

by Anonymousreply 130October 8, 2019 4:12 PM

The actor: Jack Nicholson

The fucked up skeleton: Lara Flynn Boyle

by Anonymousreply 131October 8, 2019 4:17 PM

Sean Connery? Robert Redford?

by Anonymousreply 132October 8, 2019 4:21 PM

I just remembered this blind item. Could it be the same person she's talking about? Blindgossip might have some bullshit stories in between, but the blinds about sexual misconduct of celebrities usually turn out to be true. I think CDAN makes a lot of rape/abuse stories up, but not blindgossip.

It's interesting that according to this blind, an investigation was opened in a foreign country, but no actor who fits the description has been accused of sexual misconduct in the last few months.

by Anonymousreply 134October 8, 2019 4:30 PM

So many people saying Jack Nicholson. Who exactly would be shocked to "discover" what a sordid fucker he is?

She said the dude is a universally beloved icon that people would be shattered to discover had been up to no good. That in no way sounds like Nicholson - or DeNiro, for that matter.

by Anonymousreply 135October 8, 2019 4:35 PM

I agree. Polanski raped that 13-year-old girl in Nicholson's house. And I heard a story about Nicholson himself having an affair with 13-year-old Drew Barrymore. I think more stuff will come out about him, but I don't think anybody would be shocked.

by Anonymousreply 136October 8, 2019 4:39 PM

Ron Howard

by Anonymousreply 137October 8, 2019 4:40 PM

Please. She is full of it. Who needs a reporter? All she has to do it type in the name and have her followers retweet. Please.

by Anonymousreply 139October 8, 2019 4:44 PM

r114, where does that list come from? Rotten tomatoes rates movies, not actors. You seriously think Spacey is one of the most beloved actors nowadays?

Would people be "terrified" to blab about Dick Van Dyke, who's in his mid-90s? Is he still that much of a Hollywood macher?

by Anonymousreply 144October 8, 2019 5:28 PM

Isn’t it Morgan Freeman was already exposed so couldn’t be him. I vote for Betty White.

by Anonymousreply 145October 8, 2019 5:59 PM

It sounds like Tom Hanks. No one else is so beloved AND squeaky clean.

by Anonymousreply 146October 8, 2019 6:00 PM

She's already said it isn't Tom Hanks.

I cannot imagine one actor who is universally beloved.

Except maybe Bill Murray? I know he had a fucked up marriage, hints of physical abuse. Hope it isn't Bill.

by Anonymousreply 147October 8, 2019 6:46 PM

Bill Murray is considered extremely difficult/an asshole by many in the industry. Perhaps not so much by moviegoers, though.

by Anonymousreply 148October 8, 2019 6:50 PM

Rami

by Anonymousreply 149October 8, 2019 6:51 PM

Bill Murray is basically nuts. But I thought we knew that.

by Anonymousreply 150October 8, 2019 6:51 PM

He is beloved, so maybe it's Bill.

Who else other than Morgan Freeman is beloved? I can't think of many actors we'd call beloved. That indicates a little older, so that there's a sentimental attachment.

Dwayne Johnson? I hope it's not him.

Clint Eastwood?

by Anonymousreply 151October 8, 2019 6:55 PM

I think it's a stretch to call Clint "beloved." Revered or venerable, maybe. He's not very cuddly in life or in his persona, and he's had plenty of ugly private stuff revealed already, not to mention his politics being a turnoff for many.

by Anonymousreply 152October 8, 2019 6:59 PM

Clooney is the best guess I've seen so far.

by Anonymousreply 153October 8, 2019 7:01 PM

Harrison Ford or Robert Redford

by Anonymousreply 154October 8, 2019 8:06 PM

This is obviously Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 155October 8, 2019 8:07 PM

I will take any gossips on Twitter with a molecule of shit!!

by Anonymousreply 156October 8, 2019 8:11 PM

Tom Hanks, anyone?

by Anonymousreply 157October 8, 2019 8:12 PM

Tom Hanks was ruled out by the writer.

Clooney makes sense because he has political connections. I think that's a decent guess. Him suddenly marrying after insisting he never would again always struck me as peculiar.

by Anonymousreply 158October 8, 2019 8:36 PM

Okay assholes , keep saying Tom Hanks and watch this fucking thread get shut down.

by Anonymousreply 159October 8, 2019 8:39 PM

Jimmy Stewart is. But I doubt it’s him

by Anonymousreply 160October 8, 2019 8:45 PM

RIp Taylor. Why do you think he offed himself bitches? That cunt knew it was coming out.

Or it was Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 161October 8, 2019 8:47 PM

Most of the people on the r114 list are not really "beloved." And not all of them would be considered "icons" (which also heavily implies someone older). I'd say the only people who really fall into both those categories are on the list below. I also provide rumors I've heard about certain ones that make them good candidates for the blind. I've ruled out anyone for whom perverted behavior would not be a surprise (e.g., Jack Nicholson).

Harrison Ford -- pretty much confirmed to have slept with underage girl thanks to detective work involving the blind in the article link below (read article and then Google "AGCWebpages" and "May 2018" for the educated guesswork).

Morgan Freeman -- rumored to have slept with granddaughter (though the blind says "skeletons", implying multiple cases, and this is the only rumor I've heard)

Robert DeNiro -- rumored to have slept with underage prostitutes/girls (though could be a rightwing smear)

Leonardo Dicaprio -- never heard anything

Will Smith -- never heard anything

Bill Murray -- never heard anything

Clint Eastwood -- never heard anything

Patrick Stewart -- never heard anything

Of course, just because I never heard anything, doesn't mean there isn't dirt we haven't heard. I just think there's a good chance the perp is among these.

Actually, there have been BIs that 14 is about the age Freeman prefers them.

by Anonymousreply 163October 8, 2019 9:03 PM

Paddington Bear - ask yourself, why is he always wearing that coat & hat? What is he hiding?

by Anonymousreply 164October 8, 2019 9:09 PM

Paul Newman?

by Anonymousreply 165October 8, 2019 9:13 PM

Fingers crossed it isn't Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 166October 8, 2019 9:22 PM

Freeman

by Anonymousreply 167October 8, 2019 9:34 PM

Both Bill Murray and Clint Eastwood have had plenty of negative press. Bill Murray for being awful to costars (Richard Dreyfuss/ Lucy Lui) and Clint for his treatment of his girlfriends especially Sandra Locke. I don't think anyone sees them as beloved or even liked.

by Anonymousreply 168October 8, 2019 9:54 PM

It's Walter Brennan.

by Anonymousreply 169October 8, 2019 10:11 PM

If he's alive, I think it's Clooney. If deceased, could be Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda, John Wayne, or Gary Cooper.

by Anonymousreply 170October 8, 2019 10:15 PM

Cary Grant, Tyrone Powers. Actors are not as "beloved" now.

by Anonymousreply 171October 8, 2019 10:18 PM

It's Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 172October 8, 2019 10:22 PM

After carefully reading the twitter comments, I can 100% state this is definitely Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 173October 8, 2019 10:23 PM

[quore]Bill Murray -- never heard anything

Murray’s ex wife accused him of multiple episodes of domestic violence.

by Anonymousreply 174October 8, 2019 10:25 PM

R174 yes, I have heard terrible things about Bill Murray.

by Anonymousreply 175October 8, 2019 10:35 PM

It's obviously Lucy. If only Gary had talked her out of it.

by Anonymousreply 176October 9, 2019 12:18 AM

r117 is being a real Rita Wilson!!!

by Anonymousreply 177October 9, 2019 1:31 AM

I still think it tom hanks, he pervy?

by Anonymousreply 178October 9, 2019 1:35 AM

It has to be Hanks, Tom Hanks.

Think - America's Favorite Grandpa.

I have no idea, I hate that shit. I'm sticking with Hanks because it's just a smokescreen, all these people screeching that it's not him. It's definitely him.

by Anonymousreply 179October 9, 2019 1:44 AM

It's got to be someone who's still bank...that's why it's being covered up. These old guys named aren't going to be protected because of reputation alone.

Which is why Hanks makes the most sense, cause he still opens huge. But it's apparently not.

Is Bill Murray still a money-maker? I'm not a huge fan, but I realize he's achieved living icon status with straight white men of a certain age.

by Anonymousreply 180October 9, 2019 2:14 AM

Colin Firth

by Anonymousreply 181October 9, 2019 2:14 AM

Interesting, r181, nice guess.

I'm still a bit stuck in older-than-that land but I can't think of anyone.

by Anonymousreply 182October 9, 2019 2:17 AM

I hope it's not Dustin Hoffman. That would make me really sad.

by Anonymousreply 183October 9, 2019 2:18 AM

What about robert Pattison ? Hes beloved by women all over the world . Ive always felt a weird vibe from him.

by Anonymousreply 184October 9, 2019 2:20 AM

Surprised how many gay men have been named in the previous posts. The culprit has been repeatedly accused of constantly assaulting under age girls like Henry Cavill in Japan awhile back.

by Anonymousreply 185October 9, 2019 2:21 AM

Dustin Hoffman was already exposed as a perv

by Anonymousreply 186October 9, 2019 2:21 AM

Gene Wilder?

by Anonymousreply 187October 9, 2019 2:27 AM

I've heard rumors on DL that Colin Firth likes to hit on his young female co-stars.

by Anonymousreply 188October 9, 2019 2:32 AM

Leonardo DiCaprio's movies still make a lot of money. He's also pretty successful as a producer. I remember reading somewhere that he's the third most powerful person in Hollywood. No. 1 was Steven Spielberg IIRC. Not sure who number 2 was.

In any case, extremely powerful usually equals extremely protected. I'm not saying it's definitely him, but if you asked media outlets in an anonymous poll which actor they were least likely to report something negative about, the answer would probably be DiCaprio.

As for Morgan Freeman, the girl/woman he had an affair with was not his biological granddaughter, but the daughter of an ex-wife's adopted child or something like that. It's still creepy, and she might have been underage or barely legal (not sure), but I think it should be mentioned that it wasn't incest. Several people here have said, 'He slept with his granddaughter', and that's not accurate.

by Anonymousreply 189October 9, 2019 2:36 AM

Eastwood is respected and admired (by some), but hardy "beloved."

by Anonymousreply 190October 9, 2019 2:38 AM

Is this that fucking entertainment liar?

Stupid right wing phony bullshit.

by Anonymousreply 191October 9, 2019 2:45 AM

R132, I doubt many would find Connery shocking after the wifebeating allegations against him and interviews like the one with Barbara Walters. I also don’t see everyone in Hollywood being terrified of an old retired man in Scotland.

Redford, on the other hand, is almost universally beloved, still very prominent, and quietly wields enormous power in US and international cinema thanks to Sundance. I’d hate to think of him being involved in serious crimes or violations, but if he were I could see why people would be scared to say anything.

by Anonymousreply 192October 9, 2019 2:48 AM

I think it's funny that no one can think of a beloved actor. No, I can't either (apart from Tom Hanks).

At least we know it's NOT Madonna. Beloved?! [italic]Actor??!![/italic]

Gaga, on the other hand...

by Anonymousreply 193October 9, 2019 3:03 AM

I’m gonna guess Bruce Willis. With Aaron Carter’s downward spiral, this seems to me to be a most pertinent guess.

Although, let’s be honest, after all these guesses, and no one being all that surprised, it is safe to say that most actors are fucked up, horrible people.

by Anonymousreply 194October 9, 2019 3:05 AM

Tom Hanks is beloved. Could it be him?

by Anonymousreply 195October 9, 2019 3:05 AM

Danny Glover. Beloved the movie.

by Anonymousreply 196October 9, 2019 3:12 AM

Adam Sandler is not beloved by the public. His movies do well with his fans, but a lot of people actively dislike him.

George Clooney isn’t beloved. Neither is Leo. Harrison Ford has a lot of fans but isn’t beloved.

The only two actors who are beloved are Tom Hanks and Morgan Freeman. I think her comment that it isn’t Hanks is a smokescreen. We already know some creepy-weird things about Freeman (hasn’t really affected how much people love him) but Hanks would be a shocker.

by Anonymousreply 197October 9, 2019 3:24 AM

Whose to say it is a living person. It could be someone that is dead. The dead can't defend themselves.

by Anonymousreply 198October 9, 2019 3:35 AM

Wilford Brimley

by Anonymousreply 199October 9, 2019 3:45 AM

Morgan Freeman is barely known. I don't know him except for the Shwampshank Redemption. It has to be Timothee Charloment, or maybe mister Eddie Redmayne?

by Anonymousreply 200October 9, 2019 3:53 AM

Beloved actor? Please, not Armie!

by Anonymousreply 201October 9, 2019 3:58 AM

I think that Bradley Pitt is a real bastard. Just because he was A beautiful classic yellowbone man doesn't mean that he didn't become perverted after marrying Anglika Jolie. I heard they changed the sex of one of their kids themselves. Anglika wanted to remove the balls and penis to satisfy her child's gender discomfort. Brad had to eat the skin and archive the tiny balls. This is why Brandoxx went to CPS and Brad became a drunk. A prime ass yellowbone man is still the best thing to discover. Brad has returned. past prime

by Anonymousreply 202October 9, 2019 4:12 AM

R202 is really on one.

by Anonymousreply 203October 9, 2019 5:51 AM

I haven't been on one since Sunday morning R203. He never says no to me.

by Anonymousreply 204October 9, 2019 6:00 AM

She said icon and beloved. This person must have general appeal to most people, popular, squeaky clean and older to garner such status.

by Anonymousreply 205October 9, 2019 6:16 AM

Some of you need a dictionary, clearly you have no idea what icon and beloved mean

by Anonymousreply 206October 9, 2019 6:23 AM

^Yeah, I deep sixed R202.

by Anonymousreply 207October 9, 2019 6:27 AM

If dead actors count, Robin Williams maybe?

by Anonymousreply 208October 9, 2019 6:48 AM

202 is a fun poster. One of the few guys here obviously under 40. A parody. A bit strange but funny. R207 is that dude who replies to his own posts. Ha. I think he's a sketchy bitch, regardless of the switching gender. He's a bad person with poisonous intentions. Very dangerous to young guys.

There's no answer to this question. The twitter poster had nothing but kiss my black ass to say and the Datalounge OP is just as desperate for some attention. Nothing there though.

Oh those bad men in Hollywood. This one is so beloved - you could never imagine what he did!

BUT, R207 has coerced more evil and illegal things from underage boys over the interwebs than y'all can imagine. Get to know your true enemies. Deep dive into those archives Muriel. Don't block him/her. Track them. It has a pattern.

by Anonymousreply 209October 9, 2019 6:55 AM

[quote] A prime ass yellowbone man is still the best thing to discover.

Remind me - what is “yellowbone”?

by Anonymousreply 210October 9, 2019 8:10 AM

OowweeeEEE. If you've ever been in love with a yellowbone man, you'll never forget!

by Anonymousreply 211October 9, 2019 8:23 AM

Just saying, but R189 is clearly Woody Allen.

by Anonymousreply 212October 9, 2019 9:24 AM

So we're supposed to believe she knows about this HORRIBLE AWFUL PERSON and isn't doing a thing about it.

Yes, that is logical and completely acceptable too.

by Anonymousreply 213October 9, 2019 9:33 AM

Formerly Beloved

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 214October 9, 2019 11:16 AM

Clooney is beloved, I'd say. His image is both sex symbol and guy's guy. Private life is... messy. Used to be into bi threesomes, golden showers, S&M, etc but is now mostly gay with borderline legal-aged European lads. If this is made public, the gen pub would be if not heartbroken then weirded out.

by Anonymousreply 215October 9, 2019 11:24 AM

When we say "beloved," we're not just talking about the public, we're talking about who the media loves. So that brings in a new slew of celebs. Sam Jackson, say.

by Anonymousreply 216October 9, 2019 11:26 AM

The only actor in Hollywood that I adore would be Paul Rudd.

But I think it’s probably Clooney.

by Anonymousreply 217October 9, 2019 11:27 AM

OP here to clarify some things:

1. No, this isn't anything to do with Enty Liar. This came from a writer.

2. Tom Hanks and Jeff Goldblum were rule outs.

I think Clooney does fit.

by Anonymousreply 218October 9, 2019 11:32 AM

George Lucas?

by Anonymousreply 219October 9, 2019 11:37 AM

My bad - I missed it being an actor. Clooney or Damon.

by Anonymousreply 220October 9, 2019 11:38 AM

Maybe the “actor” detail is smokescreen and it’s Spielberg

by Anonymousreply 221October 9, 2019 11:39 AM

Redford, Ron Howard and Michael J. Fox are strong choices in that people would be truly disappointed to learn they’re pervs or brutes because they are in fact BELOVED.

Hardly any of the above suggestions are beloved...Clooney? Beloved? Nope. Denzel? Sure, but he ain’t squeaky clean - and that has been known for awhile, same with Freeman so no one would be blindsided. Poitier maybe, but SO many today would say “Who?”

Redford is and always has been beloved. The Golden Boy of Hollywood, the Brad Pitt before Brad Pitt.

As the poster above mentioned, Redford is still very connected and thousands of wide-eyed dreamers flock to his Sundance each year.

His rep as champion of the environment and integrity in politics would make this a devastating blow to so many.

That, and the fact that (like Howard and Fox) it just seems to be so out of character for Redford.

Hanks? Not so much.

by Anonymousreply 222October 9, 2019 12:42 PM

Dawson is a movie star. Dawson is seriously beloved in certain strata of gay society.

And the public would certainly be shocked to know more about him.

I say it's Dawson.

by Anonymousreply 223October 9, 2019 1:06 PM

Dawson who?

by Anonymousreply 224October 9, 2019 1:21 PM

It's M.

by Anonymousreply 225October 9, 2019 1:22 PM

Dawson of the multiple load weekends? Yes, beloved in flyover land, dads and moms lurv him.

by Anonymousreply 226October 9, 2019 2:25 PM

Rob Reiner?

by Anonymousreply 227October 9, 2019 3:02 PM

To all who put forth Redford, I say: Well done. If this story has any truth in it at all, I agree that Redford fits the clues better than any other.

by Anonymousreply 228October 9, 2019 3:16 PM

I think R220 made a good guess in Matt Damon. Redford is closer to iconic and beloved, but Matt Damon rarely, if ever. makes a misstep and seems to be well-liked and respected.

by Anonymousreply 229October 9, 2019 3:23 PM

Steve Martin.

by Anonymousreply 230October 9, 2019 3:26 PM

Billy Crystal.

by Anonymousreply 231October 9, 2019 5:27 PM

R229 Did you miss the last 5 years?

by Anonymousreply 232October 9, 2019 5:45 PM

Could it be Ben Affleck ?

by Anonymousreply 233October 9, 2019 6:06 PM

Gypsy Rose Lee was a stripper. It wasn't the glamorous thing the movie GYPSY suggests it was. How much a dancer could show was controlled by local ordinance.

In each town she played, she showed all the law would allow. If she showed more, the theater would have been out of business. If she showed less, she would have been out of business.

Linked below are photos of her stripping in a carnival in Tennessee.

by Anonymousreply 234October 9, 2019 6:24 PM

Oh, fuck me. Wrong thread. Sorry.

by Anonymousreply 235October 9, 2019 6:24 PM

Don't apologise, R234. I actually love it when somebody posts a total non-sequitur.

by Anonymousreply 236October 9, 2019 6:34 PM

I think it's someone middle-aged, not really old like Redford or Connery, and most likely not retired. If the media won't touch them, it probably means they're still a big box office draw. In Hollywood you're only protected as long as your movies still make money.

by Anonymousreply 237October 9, 2019 6:43 PM

#MeToo R237. I know who it is. His name is already on this thread.

by Anonymousreply 238October 9, 2019 6:57 PM

well, who is it, r238?

by Anonymousreply 239October 9, 2019 7:05 PM

I will never be one to believe Tom Hanks ever did anything bad. He is way too nice. I would put my money on Liam Neeson.

by Anonymousreply 240October 9, 2019 7:18 PM

Paul Rudd?

by Anonymousreply 241October 9, 2019 7:58 PM

Liam Neeson isn't so beloved since that comment about beating black people

by Anonymousreply 242October 9, 2019 8:11 PM

I used to work with serveral women who were in high school with Tom Hanks and they all hated him. None were surprised he went to Hollywood and none were surprised he was able to push his way through to success. Stop being naive about show business. People are not their public personas.

by Anonymousreply 243October 9, 2019 8:14 PM

Well except to the deplorables R242. They love him more now.

by Anonymousreply 244October 9, 2019 8:16 PM

Clickbait

by Anonymousreply 245October 9, 2019 8:27 PM

[quote] Mr. Alan Alda

Nah. He lives near me. He’s squeaky clean. And a shrewd real estate developer, but not in the Trump/Kushner vein.

by Anonymousreply 246October 9, 2019 8:30 PM

Why do people leave comments like R238? Firstly, unless you're Alicia Lutes herself, you don't know who she's talking about, you can only guess like everyone else on this thread. Secondly, if you think you know who it is, why not name him?

by Anonymousreply 247October 9, 2019 8:32 PM

Isn't Hanks known to be a violent drunk?

by Anonymousreply 248October 9, 2019 8:58 PM

R212 Woody Allen is definitely not beloved.

by Anonymousreply 249October 9, 2019 9:00 PM

Glover, Nicholson, Neeson, and Redford aren't "beloved". She ruled out Hanks. Clooney is liked and admired. That leaves Freeman - ewww.

by Anonymousreply 250October 9, 2019 9:28 PM

She says "to call him an icon would be an understatement." Either the word "icon" has been severely devalued or Morgan Freeman can't be the one. He's well-respected, but I wouldn't call him an "icon." And there's been a lot of dirt on him already.

Redford really is an icon, as an actor, producer, power broker, and old-school STAR. I'm not saying it's him, but how many currently powerful actors could truly be called "icons"?

by Anonymousreply 251October 9, 2019 9:39 PM

The only "icons" mentioned in this thread are Nicholson, Redford, Poitier, Connery, and Eastwood; no one else has earned that status yet (Freeman's extremely overrated, in my humble opinion).

Given Nicholson's wild past, having fucked-up skeletons in his closet would be no big surprise. He, Eastwood and Connery all have reputations for being bastards.

That leaves Redford and Poitier; I think more people are afraid of the backlash that would follow a Poitier accusation.

by Anonymousreply 252October 9, 2019 9:49 PM

Alicia Lutes sounds like one of those overdramatic people who throw around superlatives to get attention. She probably uses words like 'icon' or 'beloved' rather lightly. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be someone most people would consider only semi-famous.

Or she's just another attention-seeking fantasist.

by Anonymousreply 253October 9, 2019 10:39 PM

Poitier makes sense because even though he is no longer a power broker, he's in a unique position as the first real black movie star and his impact on race relations. And revelations on him would be devastating, especially after the fall of Bill Cosby. No one would want to touch it with the proverbial 10-foot pole.

by Anonymousreply 254October 9, 2019 10:44 PM

What about John Travolta? Of course everyone knows about his weird closety life and the creepy Scientology stuff but....I think there is a lot of affection for him and of course Grease appears to be one of the most popular movies ever made every generation seems to fall in love with it and maybe him.

by Anonymousreply 255October 9, 2019 10:45 PM

Whatever Poitier did in the past, he is now in his 90s and, according to someone I know who used to work for him, has dementia. She did say some negative things about him but I didn't get the impression that they rise to the level of scandalous, sounded more like typical movie star narcissism and that he wasn't great to work for after a while. She is not really a friend, more of an acquaintance I run into from time to time. Anyway, I'm guessing it's not him.

by Anonymousreply 256October 9, 2019 10:57 PM

I think it’s Affleck.

by Anonymousreply 257October 9, 2019 11:12 PM

beloved to straight America? Neil Patrick Harris. people adore his ass. I think the word beloved means something different to DLers than it does to some random millennial chick. Jezebel.com thinks that Cardi B is beloved.

by Anonymousreply 258October 9, 2019 11:24 PM

My guess is Bill Murray. I remember some rumors of him groping women. Plus, his ex wife accused him of abuse and he threw a woman in a lake during an argument during the filming of What About Bob?

by Anonymousreply 259October 9, 2019 11:28 PM

Changing my guess, Redford fits. Icon, beloved.

I just can’t imagine him having any skeletons but I guess that’s the point.

by Anonymousreply 260October 9, 2019 11:47 PM

Nicolas Cage?

by Anonymousreply 261October 9, 2019 11:47 PM

It's Bob Hope. I know it is.

Unless, it's Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 262October 10, 2019 12:32 AM

It's Patrick Vaughn!

by Anonymousreply 263October 10, 2019 12:37 AM

Gilligan!

by Anonymousreply 264October 10, 2019 12:38 AM

I just don't think Bill Murray makes sense in this, although people keep mentioning him. I don't think he's beloved. Liked well enough, respected, but beloved? By whom? Everyone can see there's a certain degree of anger and nastiness underneath it all. I think beloved doesn't fit him at all.

And everyone stop saying Tom Hanks. He was specifically ruled out.

by Anonymousreply 265October 10, 2019 12:42 AM

I’ve heard quite a few rumors about Hanks being a horrible and very nasty alcoholic for years. Like really bad. Also, a woman came out recently and stated that she was his sugar baby/sex slave as a teen or something of that sort. Not sure there’s any weight to it. Wasn’t Clooney into really rough sex? Also the very young men rumors from Lake Como? He’s not as beloved, however. So many are vile human beings that nothing surprises me anymore.

by Anonymousreply 266October 10, 2019 12:55 AM

Robert Redford and Harrison Ford are good guesses, I agree that it's someone in this age bracket from the classic era of Hollywood. Another possibility is Warren Beatty?

by Anonymousreply 267October 10, 2019 1:00 AM

Wally Cox.

by Anonymousreply 268October 10, 2019 1:02 AM

Again, as the negativity troll, no to Warren Beatty. He's kind of a dick, especially to women. Everyone knows this. He's not some icon that people would be just shocked, shocked, shocked to discover had done something nasty. It would be kind of expected actually. Redford and Harrison Ford, and very much Mark Hamill, that would actually be shocking.

by Anonymousreply 269October 10, 2019 1:03 AM

Better not be Gene Hackman!

by Anonymousreply 270October 10, 2019 1:07 AM

Denzel or George Clooney.

by Anonymousreply 271October 10, 2019 1:07 AM

Tony Randall.

by Anonymousreply 272October 10, 2019 1:11 AM

Steve Buscemi.

by Anonymousreply 273October 10, 2019 1:16 AM

I don’t think Harrison Ford would be a shocker. He’s known as an asshole/grump with a drug problem who’s banged most of his leading ladies (which is part of his appeal, don’t get me wrong) so he’s exactly squeaky clean

by Anonymousreply 274October 10, 2019 1:24 AM

Michael Caine

by Anonymousreply 275October 10, 2019 1:43 AM

My money is on Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 276October 10, 2019 1:51 AM

Nicolas Cage is beloved by many. For his quirky indie phase, his action phase, his Wicker Man Meme phase.

by Anonymousreply 277October 10, 2019 2:39 AM

It’s Michael Landon!

by Anonymousreply 278October 10, 2019 2:43 AM

Caine is a good guess

by Anonymousreply 279October 10, 2019 2:50 AM

My vote goes to Morgan Freeman. The writer is young enough to think that the decades-old stories about him were a huge secret. Remember: Millennials recently broke the news that Brad Pitt likes to style himself to look like his girlfriends.

by Anonymousreply 280October 10, 2019 3:36 AM

IT IS NOT TOM HANKS !!!!!!!!! Why don't you assholes give it a rest.

by Anonymousreply 281October 10, 2019 3:53 AM

I think "beloved" applies more to Bill Murray than anyone else, although I'm fond of him too and hope it's not. Obviously the mother of his kids threw him out when some of his kids were quite young (6 sons IIRC!) although he moved to Charleston, SC to be close to them supposedly. I hope it's not him but he makes the most sense if it's not Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 282October 10, 2019 4:02 AM

really, r282? beloved? you think he's beloved?

by Anonymousreply 283October 10, 2019 4:04 AM

How about Tom Hanks? Liberace? I call for a blind item reveal - pronto.A

by Anonymousreply 284October 10, 2019 4:08 AM

Please don't say Tom Hanks.

It wounds.

by Anonymousreply 285October 10, 2019 4:09 AM

[quote] really, R282? beloved? you think he's beloved?

He’s been called a “secular saint”.

by Anonymousreply 286October 10, 2019 4:37 AM

It's not TOM FUCKING HANKS you dopey cunts!

by Anonymousreply 287October 10, 2019 4:55 AM

I think you're just trying to throw us off r287, are you saying you think it's Tom Hanks?

by Anonymousreply 288October 10, 2019 5:05 AM

I'm going to call R287 and whisper"Tom Hanks" then hang up.

by Anonymousreply 289October 10, 2019 5:07 AM

John Lithgow

by Anonymousreply 290October 10, 2019 5:09 AM

my friend worked at a high end catering service and said schwarzeneger, hanks and eastwood were all handsy handsy creeps

who knows

if hanks was a doosh to beloved henry winkler, he has my vote, mr bi polar drunk.

by Anonymousreply 291October 10, 2019 5:16 AM

The clues fit. It has to be Tom Hanks

by Anonymousreply 292October 10, 2019 5:18 AM

Is it Mr. Burt Reynolds?

by Anonymousreply 293October 10, 2019 5:26 AM

Ok, I think it has to be somebody still alive, after re-reading the original clue. "Beloved" the way she wrote it doesn't seem too significant here.

by Anonymousreply 294October 10, 2019 5:37 AM

It's Red Skeleton dummies

by Anonymousreply 295October 10, 2019 5:47 AM

It's Eddie Murphy.

by Anonymousreply 296October 10, 2019 6:21 AM

It’s Henry Winkler

by Anonymousreply 297October 10, 2019 6:29 AM

R287 isn't me. I said my piece twice, and then zenned out.

You can't cure the internet of stupidity, R287, old chum.

by Anonymousreply 298October 10, 2019 6:31 AM

Well why isn't it Tom Hanks? You can't prove it's not.

by Anonymousreply 299October 10, 2019 6:39 AM

Hanks and all his god damned rah rah usa all the way war movies......screams cia..

by Anonymousreply 300October 10, 2019 7:21 AM

Peter Scolari?

by Anonymousreply 301October 10, 2019 12:27 PM

I agree R300. And his pushing of the official NASA narrative

by Anonymousreply 302October 10, 2019 12:32 PM

Samuel L Jackson had a sketchy past for a long time.

by Anonymousreply 303October 10, 2019 12:59 PM

Robert Redford

by Anonymousreply 304October 10, 2019 1:12 PM

William Frawley.

by Anonymousreply 305October 10, 2019 1:20 PM

I have a reputable source that says this is Jeff Goldblum.

by Anonymousreply 306October 10, 2019 1:59 PM

It's Marcel Marceau. But don't say anything, please.

by Anonymousreply 307October 10, 2019 2:02 PM

I can totally see that, R306.

by Anonymousreply 308October 10, 2019 2:20 PM

By whom is Jeff Goldblum beloved? His mom?

by Anonymousreply 309October 10, 2019 2:27 PM

I have a reputable source that says this isn’t Jeff Goldblum.

by Anonymousreply 310October 10, 2019 2:28 PM

I have a reputable source who says it may or may not be Jeff Goldblum.

by Anonymousreply 311October 10, 2019 2:31 PM

I have a disreputable source who says he'll accuse anyone I want for $50 or a quick BJ.

by Anonymousreply 312October 10, 2019 2:43 PM

Jeff Goldblum is disreputable? How?

[quote][italic]Go right to the source and ask the horse He'll give you the answer that you'l endorse He's always on a steady course...[/italic]

by Anonymousreply 313October 10, 2019 3:37 PM

R313, is this a hint? Is the beloved actor Sarah Jessica Parker?

by Anonymousreply 314October 10, 2019 3:52 PM

SJP? Of course! The beloved actor is Matty Broderick!

by Anonymousreply 315October 10, 2019 3:54 PM

If it's not Tom Hanks it must be Peter Scolari or some other person who worked with him.

by Anonymousreply 316October 10, 2019 4:02 PM

Jackie Chan? He's beloved.

The Rock?

I hope it isn't fucking Tom Fucking Cruise. It didn't occur to me that he would be considered beloved but maybe to some. He's the only one I hope it is, other than Clint Eastwood.

by Anonymousreply 317October 10, 2019 6:39 PM

Tom Hanks is beloved. And there's something sketchy about that. I bet it's him.

by Anonymousreply 318October 10, 2019 6:44 PM

Can someone here tweet this bitch and demand she spill what she knows?

by Anonymousreply 319October 10, 2019 6:54 PM

It's not me! I'm about as beloved as a planters wart!

by Anonymousreply 320October 10, 2019 8:18 PM

R319, she won't answer to people who are just curious. Because, you know, this is extremely serious!

by Anonymousreply 321October 10, 2019 8:48 PM

How about Ron Howard? He is beloved from the AGS. There was a BI a few years ago believed to be him that stated he was a hound dog that used his "aw shucks" demeanor to claim his wife didn't understand him to get women in bed. It also claimed he would lie to them and tell them he had never experienced such intense feelings for anyone else. I mentioned the BI on here and people didn't believe it. As someone said up thread, you don't get to the status Hanks and Howard have by being a normal, nice guy.

by Anonymousreply 322October 10, 2019 9:08 PM

But Fonzie is iconic, Henry Winkler is beloved.

by Anonymousreply 323October 10, 2019 10:05 PM

Rip Taylor

by Anonymousreply 324October 10, 2019 10:18 PM

what about jeff goldblum? he's beloved, admired. no one would think he's got really bad dirt

by Anonymousreply 325October 10, 2019 10:28 PM

I looked at all the names mentioned before a poster said the name was mentioned (about halfway through). I really hope it's not Patrick Stewart, Bill Murray, or Keanu Reeves. As someone under 40, that's what I think of with "beloved" and yes Bill Murray is beloved by Millennials. He's nostalgic for them. Sir Patrick Stewart would be horribly devastating, as would Keanu. I'm not exaggerating, those 2 would break my heart if something bad came out.

I don't think it's someone dead, but if I had to toss one in, Mr Rogers would kill people's souls.

These are the types of actors that come to mind as far as being "Beloved".

by Anonymousreply 326October 10, 2019 10:51 PM

Matt Damon would be my guess.

The only one that would truly shock me is Redford.

by Anonymousreply 327October 10, 2019 11:02 PM

Being married, but fucking other women, seems to me to be too mild of a misbehavior to be called "fucked up skeletons in his closet". It has to be more than taking what's freely offered sexually. But then I didn't see what the big issue was with David Letterman.

by Anonymousreply 328October 10, 2019 11:09 PM

^ The big issue with Dave was that it was a much younger underling in his workplace, so bordered on financial coercion.

by Anonymousreply 329October 10, 2019 11:48 PM

Jeff Goldblum is a big sleaze supreme. Used to troll acting classes and "I really believe in your talent" his way into hundreds of naive girls' pantaloons. But he's too quirky and too b-list to be beloved. Also has herpes.

Ron Howard likes being a "good cop" while his "bad cops" fire people for the teeniest most arbitrary things. He cheats but nothing out of control. He's an "aw shucks" mean spirited pussy but doesn't quite fit the description. And he hasn't really been an actor in 40 years.

Anybody mention Kevin Costner? An absolute shit who'd go through two, three assistants a week after he'd pin them against the wall wanting sex.

Judges?

by Anonymousreply 330October 10, 2019 11:53 PM

Didn't Kevin Costner already have a scandal with masseuses?

by Anonymousreply 331October 11, 2019 1:39 AM

Jeff Goldblum isn't beloved. Most people probably don't know who he is. It has to be a nice squeaky kind of guy who everyone knows. Hanks or Fonzie are good guesses. Beloved is such a specific word that goes with a specific type of person.

by Anonymousreply 332October 11, 2019 2:26 AM

Beloved must refer to the movie. Glover, then.

by Anonymousreply 333October 11, 2019 5:11 AM

333 replies and I cannot believe that no one has guessed Tom Hanks yet.

by Anonymousreply 334October 11, 2019 5:36 AM

R332 Jeff Goldblum has become a weirdly popular cult figure to younger Gen Xers and millennials, I assume because of his role in Jurassic Park. There are a ton of memes about him - kind of like Chuck Norris.

You think more people know who Henry Winkler is than Jeff Goldblum? No way. 40 years ago, certainly...not now.

by Anonymousreply 335October 11, 2019 10:15 AM

What about Tom Hanks, could it be him?

by Anonymousreply 336October 11, 2019 10:41 AM

[R331] We've all heard bad stuff about Costner, DeNiro, Freeman, etc but none of it really stuck. To the gen pub, they're still "beloved." I think the BI is saying some seriously dirty dirt will come out and mystery actor will be cancelled a la Spacey.

by Anonymousreply 337October 11, 2019 11:05 AM

[quote]333 replies and I cannot believe that no one has guessed Tom Hanks yet.

See r19.

by Anonymousreply 338October 11, 2019 11:11 AM

R336, you may very well be right. For some weird reason I can't get Tom Hanks out of my head when it comes to this.

by Anonymousreply 339October 11, 2019 11:22 AM

I doubt the truth will ever see the light of day

by Anonymousreply 340October 11, 2019 12:30 PM

R340 - I used to think that about Weinstein. It might not happen while the guy is alive, but it all comes out eventually.

by Anonymousreply 341October 11, 2019 2:10 PM

Kirk Douglas?

by Anonymousreply 342October 11, 2019 2:25 PM

Another vote for Steve Martin.

by Anonymousreply 343October 11, 2019 2:31 PM

Roseanne

by Anonymousreply 344October 11, 2019 2:38 PM

reality check here. This woman is just an attention seeker who has no direct or reliable knowledge about the secrets of any famous actor.

Having said that, literally everyon in the entertainment business has secrets, some large, some small but her tease is tiresome and she is unable to cash the checks her mouth is writing.

Btw, there are only a handful of actors who could be described as A list, let alone iconic. You are talking about a universe of no more than 10 people. Some iconic actors are no longer box office and they make up half that list. So really its like 5 people who occupy that status. She has ruled out one so lets say 4.

You can be a famous actor, a celebrated actor and a known actor but not an iconic actor. No shade here, its not a reflection of talent but of business status.

by Anonymousreply 345October 11, 2019 3:41 PM

It is Jack Benny. Or George Burns, he was really beloved.

Or Tom Hanks.

by Anonymousreply 346October 11, 2019 3:43 PM

Another vote for George Arliss.

by Anonymousreply 347October 11, 2019 3:46 PM

It is so obviously Walter Matthau. God, you bitches are slipping.

by Anonymousreply 348October 11, 2019 3:54 PM

r338 is Forest Gump .

by Anonymousreply 349October 11, 2019 4:09 PM

Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington

Karma is a bitch, bitch!

by Anonymousreply 352October 11, 2019 4:27 PM

I’m not a Dame, I’m an Officer, Joanie - you dizzy zombie.

by Anonymousreply 353October 11, 2019 6:59 PM

It could be Leslie Nielsen, if we’re including deceased actors.

by Anonymousreply 354October 11, 2019 7:04 PM

Spock!

by Anonymousreply 355October 11, 2019 9:53 PM

I think it's Vivian Vance.

by Anonymousreply 356October 12, 2019 5:18 AM

William Shatner. One of his wives died mysteriously in the backyard pool.

by Anonymousreply 357October 12, 2019 5:31 AM

Guys! This story is BIG, in a LEAGUE OF its OWN! This person will be CAST AWAY when this news makes a SPLASH! ANGELS & DEMONS are forcing him down his ROAD TO PERDITION. I don't like to SULLY anyone's reputation but there's no SAVING MR. HANKS, er, BANKS!

by Anonymousreply 358October 12, 2019 5:35 AM

The only ones that would really fuck me up are Denzel Washington and Keanu Reeves.

by Anonymousreply 359October 12, 2019 5:50 AM

This is Wilford Brimley. Case closed.

by Anonymousreply 360October 12, 2019 6:03 AM

Hanks has the Mr. Rogers movie coming out, I still think it's him because it would ruin his good guy image

by Anonymousreply 361October 12, 2019 6:05 AM

Danny DeVito? My 14 year old niece and her friends make memes about him so the younger crowd does know who he is.

by Anonymousreply 362October 12, 2019 6:15 AM

Cliff Arquette. And he spawned an entire family with dark fucked up skeletons in their closets, too.

by Anonymousreply 363October 12, 2019 11:41 AM

I'm betting it's Martin Short. I set him up on a blind date with a colleague about 2 years ago and she told me afterwards he was the creepiest guy she ever met. In retrospect, everything she said made sense. But he is beloved.

by Anonymousreply 364October 12, 2019 12:11 PM

I agree that the tweet and the person who created it a re probably full of shit, but the guessing game it spawned here is fun. Redford is a good guess.

Here's mine: Seriously Beloved Actor. The initial letters, while out of order, are the same as A Star is Born.

Bradley Cooper has an Oscar. He beloved by Marvel fans as the voice of Rocket Raccoon from the Guardians movies. He's got a huge fan base from his other films.

SOLVED: Bradley Cooper

by Anonymousreply 365October 12, 2019 12:18 PM

Danny Divito and Danny Ackroyd both were big coke fiends in the past.

by Anonymousreply 366October 12, 2019 12:22 PM

If only I could speak, I'd be able to say #metoo.

Signed, "Vol E. Ball"

by Anonymousreply 367October 12, 2019 12:26 PM

lol, r367.

Good one.

by Anonymousreply 368October 12, 2019 12:29 PM

R283 Murray is beloved. In the 2000s, hipster types picked him up as a "cool old man." He even had a Christmas special a couple of years ago.

by Anonymousreply 369October 12, 2019 1:00 PM

R369 Bill Murray wouldn't be shocking. The man is a well known douchebag and alcoholic. There's even domestic assault claims against from years ago. I wouldn't call him more reverred than Jeff Goldblum either which is one of the clues.

by Anonymousreply 370October 12, 2019 1:09 PM

I think it's David S. Pumpkins.

by Anonymousreply 371October 12, 2019 1:12 PM

Scratch DeNiro. Its not someone with public political leanings because those types have such a bullseye on their back, there'd be no hiding a big scandal from political hacks.

Scratch Morgan Freeman. He's already had a MeToo scandal in which he was railed on. Nobody shielded him.

Scratch Sydney Poitier. Cosby was his peer and far more well known and reverred. And Bill is in a prison cell as we speak.

by Anonymousreply 372October 12, 2019 1:16 PM

R365 If he had any skeletons it’d have come out last year during Oscar season.

by Anonymousreply 373October 12, 2019 1:17 PM

Robert Downey Jr.

RDJ is super tied to a billon dollar machine owned by a trillion dollar company. I can see Disney stepping on stories. He's also reverred as a serious actor. And he comes off as the greatest narcissist to ever walk

by Anonymousreply 374October 12, 2019 1:25 PM

RDJ comes across as an absolute sociopath, as in serial killer material

by Anonymousreply 375October 12, 2019 2:46 PM

Bradley Cooper does not have an Oscar R365

by Anonymousreply 376October 12, 2019 4:49 PM

R374, but who would be surprised that RDJ had done something awful given his past and actual time spent in prison?

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 377October 12, 2019 8:02 PM

I'd be shocked if RDJ was harassing FEMALES

by Anonymousreply 378October 12, 2019 8:07 PM

I'd love to know how she knows about these so called skeletons.

The only people I have never heard any real dirt on are Tom hanks, Matt Damon , Hugh jackman..Will Smith is very well loved. I thought Tom hanks at first because he is probably the most loved of all but the tweeter says it is not him. Mind you, there's a whack job on twitter who has been posting Tom abused her when she was a child but she cannot remember what he did and she has a lot of followers. I don;t buy it at all.

I stand corrected r376. I thought he won the Best Actor Oscar for "American Sniper"

by Anonymousreply 381October 12, 2019 11:31 PM

Tom Hanks is known for being a swinger and a drunk, but that’s no big deal in Hollywood.

by Anonymousreply 382October 13, 2019 12:01 AM

Michael Douglas

by Anonymousreply 383October 13, 2019 2:57 AM

Michael Douglas is seen as a sleaze, he's not beloved

by Anonymousreply 384October 13, 2019 2:59 AM

R 365, I wouldn’t be surprised about Cooper, he’s always given me creepy vibes. But I doubt he’s into women.

by Anonymousreply 385October 13, 2019 5:23 AM

Fuck, I meant R365. I know how this site works, but my fingers don’t.

by Anonymousreply 386October 13, 2019 5:25 AM

Giggity, r380!

by Anonymousreply 387October 13, 2019 6:03 AM

[R385] Exactly. lol

by Anonymousreply 388October 13, 2019 11:09 AM

R377 Years ago, in Vanity Fair, he alluded to fucked up things happening to him in prison.

by Anonymousreply 389October 13, 2019 11:55 AM

Got to be Seinfeld.

by Anonymousreply 390October 13, 2019 12:53 PM

I was in " Beloved."

by Anonymousreply 391October 13, 2019 1:16 PM

How would James Franco ever be considered a "beloved actor" in the first place? Most people have never heard of him. I've only seen him in the Spiderman movie with Tobey Maguire.

by Anonymousreply 392October 13, 2019 4:06 PM

Seinfeld's whole schtick is to NOT be beloved. His persona is prickly and annoying.

by Anonymousreply 393October 13, 2019 4:10 PM

hanks , mr usa all the way, also believes the one bullet theory , that Oswald killed jfk alone, is he a shill for the CIA ? weird..

by Anonymousreply 394October 13, 2019 4:14 PM

Ed Asner.

by Anonymousreply 395October 14, 2019 2:20 AM

Love Asner but I wouldn't call him beloved

by Anonymousreply 396October 14, 2019 2:34 AM

He was to previous generations, but the reporter in question would probably respond to his name with "who?".

R393, that's a persona? I thought that was just how he was in real life.

by Anonymousreply 397October 14, 2019 3:45 AM

Hanks you old uncle sam potted plant.....have nother cocktail hun...

by Anonymousreply 398October 14, 2019 6:58 AM

RDJ or Jason Bateman, Paul Rudd

by Anonymousreply 399October 14, 2019 7:17 AM

Im guessing Robert Downey Jr. he once snuck into his neighbors kids room and slept on their bed while he was on a crack binge. That’s gotta be saying something about him.

by Anonymousreply 400October 14, 2019 7:24 AM

Except everyone knows RDJ has been very fucked up in the past and no one would be that surprised.

by Anonymousreply 401October 14, 2019 11:28 AM

What that says, R400, is that he was high on crack.

by Anonymousreply 402October 14, 2019 12:00 PM

Tommy Lee Jones.

by Anonymousreply 403October 14, 2019 12:21 PM

It's Richard Gere.

by Anonymousreply 404October 14, 2019 12:22 PM

You must be stupid beyond belief.

by Anonymousreply 407October 14, 2019 1:47 PM

take ur physics nd shove it up david ferrie's ass hole....

by Anonymousreply 408October 14, 2019 2:00 PM

Tommy Lee Jones is a good guess......he's been famous for years and hasn't had any scandals that I can think of!

by Anonymousreply 409October 14, 2019 4:59 PM

Mark Hamill? Shatner? I recall there was some question about exactly how Shatner's wife died.

by Anonymousreply 410October 14, 2019 5:32 PM

Shatner is a real piece of shit. I could see him having fucked up skeletons in his past.

by Anonymousreply 411October 14, 2019 6:08 PM

Shatner is a real piece of shit. I could see him having fucked up skeletons in his past.

by Anonymousreply 412October 14, 2019 6:09 PM

R412 Well he is the face of Michael Myers after all. lol

by Anonymousreply 413October 14, 2019 8:40 PM

Is Shatner a beloved actor though??

by Anonymousreply 414October 14, 2019 10:44 PM

"I don't know, there are parts of it that ring true. It's hard to write anything that's scandalous about true icons - people don't want to believe it, so you get trashed even if what you are writing is 100% true."

Oh please. She is SJW to the core. Look at what they did to Aziz Ansari. I want more than a Twitter troll post these days.

by Anonymousreply 415October 14, 2019 10:57 PM

R415, using SJW as an insult outs you as a freeper. No one did anything to Aziz Andari except tell the truth about him. He isn't in jail. He isn't that "beloved" anyway since 90% of people haven't heard of him.

by Anonymousreply 416October 14, 2019 11:28 PM

I’d say Samuel L. Jackson is beloved.

by Anonymousreply 417October 14, 2019 11:48 PM

I don't think it could be Tommy Lee Jones, he's well-respected but I don't get the impression that many people who've met him actually *like* him. If you turn to the word "grumpy" in the dictionary his photo appears alongside the definition.

by Anonymousreply 418October 15, 2019 12:26 AM

actually,, beloved actor in this day, and age- Matthew Mcconaughey

by Anonymousreply 419October 15, 2019 12:31 AM

Do we think it's Cuba Gooding Jr? There are more allegations out about him today.

by Anonymousreply 420October 15, 2019 3:52 AM

R416, once again stop being so predictable.

by Anonymousreply 421October 15, 2019 6:36 AM

by Anonymousreply 424October 15, 2019 8:13 AM

Bruce Willis did purchase gifts for some teen singer (Aaron Carter?) totalling one million dollars. How that never got more press, I'll never know.

Not sure I would call him "beloved" though.

Cuba Gooding Jr isn't even close to beloved

by Anonymousreply 426October 15, 2019 3:35 PM

I’m not sure about a beloved actor who’s an icon, but I do know that the IT community, like software developers, etc., have been trading in varying opinions regarding MIT, Bill Gates, & Jeffrey Epstein.

I have no idea what to make of these “connections” that are floating around these names, these men, their associates, their shared curiosity regarding biotech, AI, research & development, or their philanthropic interests. It appears to go beyond & even in divergence from one another’s preferences for romantic: sexual partners, which isn’t clear that they share, or have much in common when it comes to that.

I dunno. What appears to be surfacing, however, is a trail of evidence that goes against Gates’ initial denials and explanations regarding his personal and/or business ties to Epstein.

Maybe it’s nothing?

This would kinda really disappoint people, if it wasn’t nothing, & became something... I think.

Has Bill Gates been an actor all this time? Who knew...

by Anonymousreply 430October 15, 2019 6:47 PM

Lol. Right, R430?

I think the actor title was some sort of red herring or fishing expedition. Again, I dunno. But the IT/Tech community in Seattle & Silicon Valley have certain opinions about Bill, for sure. At the end of the day, the general consensus between them is that they don’t like him, they don’t trust him, & more importantly, they don’t like or trust his close friends and associates who have been by his side from “Go”. And that’s without bring Epstein or any of his sleaze, into the picture.

by Anonymousreply 431October 15, 2019 6:53 PM

I always though it was a bit odd that Bill Gates became so concerned about the people in Africa...

by Anonymousreply 432October 15, 2019 6:59 PM

R432, you’re getting warmer...

Allegedly, this isn’t about pedophilia. It’s about hacking our genetic code, & other types of stuff, such as, arresting the development of the human body during different stages of biological life expectancy, while allowing the brain to develop completely.

The body of a child, a teen, a young adult, technically housing and possessing the mind of a fully formed and developed adult, who can legally claim complete self agency, because they’re chronologically, adults.

Interesting.

Fund, founded by Epstein & a group of anonymous, Angel investors, in order to funnel money to Joi Ito’s MIT Lab, for this special research.

Fund’s name? NEOTENY.

Google the definition of “NEOTENY”, if you’re curious.

Like I said, I dunno 🤷‍♀️. That’s all I’ve got.

Have we talked about Ian McKellen yet? He's VERY beloved from his roles in the Lord of the Rings, X-Men, and The Hobbit franchises. He's a double Oscar nominee and a hugely respected actor who is popular across generations (young folks seem to love him) and frequently on the talk show circuit.

There have been rumours and blind items about him for years, engaging with underage boys. He is very closely associated with the likes of Kevin Spacey and Brian Singer and attended a lot of the same parties, but it's swept under the rug somewhat.

I think a lot of people would be upset to find out the truth about him.

by Anonymousreply 437October 15, 2019 8:15 PM

Fuck off, R435. I’m not the crazy bitch you’re obsessed with, DR.

Why is it that anytime someone here posts stuff that is actually documented in and reported via the MSM, such as the NYT write up on Gates & Epstein, you immediately believe that it’s your beloved Lady of Fecal Mattered Shoes?

Hasn’t it occurred to you that perhaps, there are, at times, connections between high profiled individuals, such as the two aforementioned, that are at the very least, up for speculation and public discussion?

This has nothing to do with you. You don’t own this fucking website, and all of the sources that I’ve presented are real, with verified facts as presented via MSM publications, with real people, who’s connections to each other are also real, sustained, and independently verified repeatedly, as are things such as the MIT fund, founded by Epstein & Co., in order to research neoteny in human development.

Allegedly, Gates was at the VERY LEAST interested in learning about this research, & met with Epstein & other associates of Epstein’s, repeatedly, in order to become better informed about the R & D side of it all.

All of those things, drawn together, DO NOT offer me anything other than what is already reported: they met, various times, and Gates initially denied it, and back-tracked that denial due to the investigative reporting endeavored by journalists with the NYT.

So go and FUCK OFF with your bullshit consternation, & proclamations of “blocking” me, as if you’ve achieved some sort of moral high ground or superiority. You’ve achieved jack shit, & those who want to read what I wrote, are free to do so, & ,will, and you are free to not read it, you are free block me, and you’re not only free, but highly encouraged to FUCK OFF.

I don't think it's her, but would Falconetti be considered iconic? Her only known role is.

Oh bullshit. Epstein doesn't have the background to be the R&D go to guy. Gates would have had a better understanding of R&D than Epstein.

by Anonymousreply 441October 15, 2019 10:05 PM

I don’t know much about Joi Ito’s personal life. Just like Gates, any others who have been ensured in some sort of PR nightmare of guilt via association , I cannot say what his motivations objectives, or goals were, when deciding to allow his lab to indiscriminately receive funding from Epstein, for his projects, while at MIT.

That said, I’ve spent several hours becoming familiar with his blog, his writing about his research, his philosophies across multi-dimensional platforms, & his questions. The same questions that those of us who have the capacity to think outside of the box, and who think beyond our own self interests, are able to articulate, and often do, whether to ourselves, or others.

He’s actually pretty fucking brilliant. Oh, and he’s a pro diver, too!

Here’s his blog:

omg Epstein was buddys with bill gates???? dear lord, can u see gates havin a massage from some hot young broad and moaning? bill u rascal...

by Anonymousreply 444October 16, 2019 2:50 AM

It seems to me the sort of research Epstein was funding would be very noteworthy to anyone interested in extending lifespans and slowing aging, without the automatic "stop the clock at 14!" connotations of Epstein himself.

by Anonymousreply 445October 16, 2019 1:27 PM

Ian McKellen actually makes sense. Beloved actor, beloved characters, and openly gay. If he were involved in some kind of Spacey-like scandal, it would be very hard to touch it without being thought homophobic -- or so I imagine industry people would feel.

Spacey was always cagey about his sexuality and never as much of a Hollywood insider, with powerful friends, as McKellen.

by Anonymousreply 446October 16, 2019 2:08 PM

To me, beloved icons indicate the television category. Therefore, someone like: Alan Thicke, Dick Clark, or a Leave It To Beaver actor. Thicke allegedly pulled his fly down during teen pageant rehearsals, and made outright lewd comments to minor girls. The parental uproar made some minor headlines, and he was quietly ditched as an mc/host. I don’t believe much has ever been said about Michael Landon either. He was no saint.

by Anonymousreply 447October 16, 2019 3:36 PM

Apparently, there may be a scandal about Goldblum brewing. This is a different person than the one in OP.

Really? Since when has Goldblum been beloved? That Twitter feed is ridiculous. How old are these people? 10?

Everyone knows Goldblum’s a perv. He’s not a rapist, as far as we know, & I don’t recall him dating minors.

by Anonymousreply 449October 16, 2019 9:00 PM

Goldblum it is. He’s much loved and has a sleazy reputation.

by Anonymousreply 450October 16, 2019 9:03 PM

Come on, Goldblum is an "icon" that no one in Hollywood dares speak out against?

by Anonymousreply 451October 16, 2019 9:08 PM

I thought everyone on the planet knew Jeff Goldblum was into rough sex/bdsm and was EXTREMELY handsy with every woman in his orbit.

by Anonymousreply 452October 16, 2019 9:13 PM

It has to be someone protected by a major organisation or corporation, not just your average joe star. Hanks/CIA makes the most sense to me.

by Anonymousreply 453October 16, 2019 10:15 PM

Why didn't anyone ask if Giuliani has security clearance every time Mulvaney said it was perfectly legal for him to work on diplomatic issues?

It could be, but it's difficult to think of this guy as a notorious pussy hound.

I quote the original BI: "To call him an icon would be an understatement." Now look at the dude in the photo above this post.

Really?

by Anonymousreply 456October 17, 2019 7:08 PM

Icons are Jimmy Stewart, Charlton Heston, Lucille Ball, JFK, RK, MLK, John Lennon, Prince, MJ, Mandela, Steve Jobs, etc.

Living icons? Oprah, Paul McCartney, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates. Who else?

Here’s a list from IMDB, which I think isn’t complete:

r235 is correct. There are only a handful of "icons" and the only ones with "fucked up skeletons" in the closet would be the straight arrow , nice guy everyone loves type. Jack Nicnolson, for example is an Icon, but nobody would be surprised to learn of deviant behavior about him. I think this lady is basically full of shit. Just trying to get attention on the interweb

by Anonymousreply 458October 18, 2019 4:31 PM

If you think only a handful of people are icons then you are the one who is full of shit

by Anonymousreply 459October 18, 2019 5:25 PM

well r459 if you think Jeff goldblum is an icon... go right along thinking that

by Anonymousreply 460October 18, 2019 5:28 PM

God I’d love to date a guy who looked and dressed like Goldblum. I’m sick to death of Northface (black and gray), fleece, untucked dress shirts, and graphic tees.
