Take with a grain of salt, but this is mighty interesting. She ruled out Tom Hanks, who was the obvious guess. What really stands out is her claim people will not go on the record due to being terrified.
Who is the "Beloved Actor" with fucked up skeletons in his closet?

I hate to say it but maybe Morgan Freeman? Stuff is out there about him but it never seems to go mainstream. He was banging his step granddaughter if I recall. It sucks because I really liked him.

Is DeNiro “beloved” though? Beloved makes me think of someone with a warm, likable persona. Hanks and Freeman I’d describe as beloved. DeNiro and Nicholson are too coarse.

The only Beloved with a capital B actor I can think of is Sidney Poitier; he is literally the living patron saint of Black Hollywood. Imagine Oprah, Spike Lee, Jada Pinkett-Smith, et al whipping the masses into a frenzy over *that* accusation, now that he's in his final years! I can see how anyone would be scared to talk, if it were indeed him.

^ I don't know, there are parts of it that ring true. It's hard to write anything that's scandalous about true icons - people don't want to believe it, so you get trashed even if what you are writing is 100% true. My bf is a blogger and has been doing some digging on a man who is truly an icon - not an actor or someone in showbiz, but a guy everyone would know. This man is dead but if you printed something bad about him you would be excoriated.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 8, 2019 1:46 AM |
DiCaprio? There's definitely something off with him. And I've actually seen some pretty creepy pics of him with his hand around a woman's neck. There were other people nearby and they might have been just clowning about, but when I first saw those pics I was like, wtf. Not sure if I'd still call him beloved, though. Mega famous and powerful, yes, but his interview persona is not charming or likeable, and people have been calling him a creep for years.

Harrison must be brutal. Calista doesn't stay skeletal for nothing.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | October 8, 2019 2:20 AM |
Yawn. So tired of this lurid gossip baiting. Either at least give a hint as to what this supposedly awful behavior is or say nothing . It's difficult to judge without even slight details. It's very hard to know how seriously to take this when even the slightest misbehavior involving sex is automatically considered The Most Serious And Terrible Thing On The Face of The Planet among this generation. And if you even suggest that perhaps there is a spectrum of severity when it comes to sex misconduct, you will be met with howls of outrage.
Too bad the twitterati can't take all that outraged energy and focus on things like income inequality and reducing poverty. Yeah sexual misconduct is bad but I'm sick of it receiving 100 percent of media and activists focus when there are problems just as serious if not more so facing this country that no one can seem to muster two fucks about.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | October 8, 2019 2:21 AM |

Yes, no one has EVER written about poverty or income inequality! Never! If you don't read about those things it's probably because you get your news from conservative blogs. You certainly sound like a freeper with your your sexist whining and your hysteria over "this generation"
by Anonymous | reply 63 | October 8, 2019 2:26 AM |
I was also thinking either Sidney Poitier or Michael J. Fox...maybe more hints will be dropped.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | October 8, 2019 2:28 AM |
I'm thinking Sidney Poitier or Morgan Freeman as well. If people are truly as reluctant to touch that story as she claims, I can imagine there's a factor that makes them hesitate apart from what he did (like causing a racial controversy). Because if it's "just" another old white man behaving horribly, it's not like that never happened. I mean, there would be people refusing to believe it, like for example with Woody Allen, but I think it would get at least reported. Especially since so many old white men have been exposed recently.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | October 8, 2019 2:38 AM |
No one under 50 knows who the fuck Sidney Poitier is . He may be revered, but when I think "beloved" I think somone who is universally liked, and he only appeals to a small portion over all. I think its Will Smith.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | October 8, 2019 2:42 AM |
R63 Actually I'm the furthest thing from a freeper and I have zero interest in right wing blogs. And I reiterate that (1) these cases should be discussed but they receive a disproportionate amount of focus compared to other issues. Yes ,poverty and income inequality are discussed but they don't seem to receive the same level of outrage or calls for change. (2) There is absolutely a spectrum in how serious these cases are. They are not all equal. Without specifics I'm not going to assume that someone engaged in truly awful behavior just because a twitter comment says so.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | October 8, 2019 2:42 AM |
It's Danny Kaye, that glass bottomed prevert.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | October 8, 2019 2:45 AM |

And r67 definitely sounds like a freeper. You think there is no outrage over income inequality? Then you need to watch something other than Fox News and read something other than Newsmax. Bashing the #metoo movement is for the same type of guys who cheer on Trump's pussygrabbing.

I think it has to be Morgan Freeman — if it’s anyone at all. Why she needs to tweet for help n the story is the question. If she ‘bows so much, she can write the damn story herself instead of acting like there will be a hit on her.

I doubt it's Freeman or Poitier. American society wouldn't think twice about discarding and ostracizing any actor of color, no matter how beloved he might be. White Americans only have problems processing the truth when it comes to their white icons. It's interesting that according to this blind, an investigation was opened in a foreign country, but no actor who fits the description has been accused of sexual misconduct in the last few months.

Isn’t it Morgan Freeman was already exposed so couldn’t be him. I vote for Betty White.

She's already said it isn't Tom Hanks.
I cannot imagine one actor who is universally beloved.
Except maybe Bill Murray? I know he had a fucked up marriage, hints of physical abuse. Hope it isn't Bill.

Bill Murray is considered extremely difficult/an asshole by many in the industry. Perhaps not so much by moviegoers, though.

Bill Murray is basically nuts. But I thought we knew that.
by Anonymous | reply 150 | October 8, 2019 6:51 PM |
He is beloved, so maybe it's Bill.
Who else other than Morgan Freeman is beloved? I can't think of many actors we'd call beloved. That indicates a little older, so that there's a sentimental attachment.
Dwayne Johnson? I hope it's not him.
Clint Eastwood?
by Anonymous | reply 151 | October 8, 2019 6:55 PM |
I think it's a stretch to call Clint "beloved." Revered or venerable, maybe. He's not very cuddly in life or in his persona, and he's had plenty of ugly private stuff revealed already, not to mention his politics being a turnoff for many.

Tom Hanks was ruled out by the writer.
Clooney makes sense because he has political connections. I think that's a decent guess. Him suddenly marrying after insisting he never would again always struck me as peculiar.

Most of the people on the r114 list are not really "beloved." And not all of them would be considered "icons" (which also heavily implies someone older). I'd say the only people who really fall into both those categories are on the list below. I also provide rumors I've heard about certain ones that make them good candidates for the blind. I've ruled out anyone for whom perverted behavior would not be a surprise (e.g., Jack Nicholson).
Harrison Ford -- pretty much confirmed to have slept with underage girl thanks to detective work involving the blind in the article link below (read article and then Google "AGCWebpages" and "May 2018" for the educated guesswork).
Morgan Freeman -- rumored to have slept with granddaughter (though the blind says "skeletons", implying multiple cases, and this is the only rumor I've heard)
Robert DeNiro -- rumored to have slept with underage prostitutes/girls (though could be a rightwing smear)
Leonardo Dicaprio -- never heard anything
Will Smith -- never heard anything
Bill Murray -- never heard anything
Clint Eastwood -- never heard anything
Patrick Stewart -- never heard anything
Of course, just because I never heard anything, doesn't mean there isn't dirt we haven't heard. I just think there's a good chance the perp is among these.

It's got to be someone who's still bank...that's why it's being covered up. These old guys named aren't going to be protected because of reputation alone.
Which is why Hanks makes the most sense, cause he still opens huge. But it's apparently not.
Is Bill Murray still a money-maker? I'm not a huge fan, but I realize he's achieved living icon status with straight white men of a certain age.

Leonardo DiCaprio's movies still make a lot of money. He's also pretty successful as a producer. I remember reading somewhere that he's the third most powerful person in Hollywood. No. 1 was Steven Spielberg IIRC. Not sure who number 2 was.
In any case, extremely powerful usually equals extremely protected. I'm not saying it's definitely him, but if you asked media outlets in an anonymous poll which actor they were least likely to report something negative about, the answer would probably be DiCaprio.
As for Morgan Freeman, the girl/woman he had an affair with was not his biological granddaughter, but the daughter of an ex-wife's adopted child or something like that. It's still creepy, and she might have been underage or barely legal (not sure), but I think it should be mentioned that it wasn't incest. Several people here have said, 'He slept with his granddaughter', and that's not accurate.

R132, I doubt many would find Connery shocking after the wifebeating allegations against him and interviews like the one with Barbara Walters. I also don’t see everyone in Hollywood being terrified of an old retired man in Scotland.
Redford, on the other hand, is almost universally beloved, still very prominent, and quietly wields enormous power in US and international cinema thanks to Sundance. I’d hate to think of him being involved in serious crimes or violations, but if he were I could see why people would be scared to say anything.
by Anonymous | reply 192 | October 9, 2019 2:48 AM |

I’m gonna guess Bruce Willis. With Aaron Carter’s downward spiral, this seems to me to be a most pertinent guess.
Although, let’s be honest, after all these guesses, and no one being all that surprised, it is safe to say that most actors are fucked up, horrible people.

Adam Sandler is not beloved by the public. His movies do well with his fans, but a lot of people actively dislike him.
George Clooney isn’t beloved. Neither is Leo. Harrison Ford has a lot of fans but isn’t beloved.
The only two actors who are beloved are Tom Hanks and Morgan Freeman. I think her comment that it isn’t Hanks is a smokescreen. We already know some creepy-weird things about Freeman (hasn’t really affected how much people love him) but Hanks would be a shocker.

I heard they changed the sex of one of their kids themselves. Anglika wanted to remove the balls and penis to satisfy her child's gender discomfort. Brad had to eat the skin and archive the tiny balls. This is why Brandoxx went to CPS and Brad became a drunk. A prime ass yellowbone man is still the best thing to discover. There's no answer to this question. The twitter poster had nothing but kiss my black ass to say and the Datalounge OP is just as desperate for some attention. Nothing there though.
Oh those bad men in Hollywood. This one is so beloved - you could never imagine what he did!

Clooney is beloved, I'd say. His image is both sex symbol and guy's guy. Private life is... messy. Used to be into bi threesomes, golden showers, S&M, etc but is now mostly gay with borderline legal-aged European lads. If this is made public, the gen pub would be if not heartbroken then weirded out.
by Anonymous | reply 215 | October 9, 2019 11:24 AM |
When we say "beloved," we're not just talking about the public, we're talking about who the media loves. So that brings in a new slew of celebs. Sam Jackson, say.

Redford, Ron Howard and Michael J. Fox are strong choices in that people would be truly disappointed to learn they’re pervs or brutes because they are in fact BELOVED.
Hardly any of the above suggestions are beloved...Clooney? Beloved? Nope. Denzel? Sure, but he ain’t squeaky clean - and that has been known for awhile, same with Freeman so no one would be blindsided. Poitier maybe, but SO many today would say “Who?”
Redford is and always has been beloved. The Golden Boy of Hollywood, the Brad Pitt before Brad Pitt.
As the poster above mentioned, Redford is still very connected and thousands of wide-eyed dreamers flock to his Sundance each year.
His rep as champion of the environment and integrity in politics would make this a devastating blow to so many.
That, and the fact that (like Howard and Fox) it just seems to be so out of character for Redford.
Hanks? Not so much.

Gypsy Rose Lee was a stripper. It wasn't the glamorous thing the movie GYPSY suggests it was. How much a dancer could show was controlled by local ordinance.
In each town she played, she showed all the law would allow. If she showed more, the theater would have been out of business. If she showed less, she would have been out of business.
Linked below are photos of her stripping in a carnival in Tennessee.

Glover, Nicholson, Neeson, and Redford aren't "beloved". She ruled out Hanks. Clooney is liked and admired. That leaves Freeman - ewww.
by Anonymous | reply 250 | October 9, 2019 9:28 PM |
She says "to call him an icon would be an understatement." Either the word "icon" has been severely devalued or Morgan Freeman can't be the one. He's well-respected, but I wouldn't call him an "icon." And there's been a lot of dirt on him already.
Redford really is an icon, as an actor, producer, power broker, and old-school STAR. I'm not saying it's him, but how many currently powerful actors could truly be called "icons"?
by Anonymous | reply 251 | October 9, 2019 9:39 PM |
The only "icons" mentioned in this thread are Nicholson, Redford, Poitier, Connery, and Eastwood; no one else has earned that status yet (Freeman's extremely overrated, in my humble opinion).
Given Nicholson's wild past, having fucked-up skeletons in his closet would be no big surprise. He, Eastwood and Connery all have reputations for being bastards.
That leaves Redford and Poitier; I think more people are afraid of the backlash that would follow a Poitier accusation.
by Anonymous | reply 252 | October 9, 2019 9:49 PM |
Alicia Lutes sounds like one of those overdramatic people who throw around superlatives to get attention. She probably uses words like 'icon' or 'beloved' rather lightly. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be someone most people would consider only semi-famous.
Or she's just another attention-seeking fantasist.
by Anonymous | reply 253 | October 9, 2019 10:39 PM |
Poitier makes sense because even though he is no longer a power broker, he's in a unique position as the first real black movie star and his impact on race relations. And revelations on him would be devastating, especially after the fall of Bill Cosby. No one would want to touch it with the proverbial 10-foot pole.
by Anonymous | reply 254 | October 9, 2019 10:44 PM |
What about John Travolta? Of course everyone knows about his weird closety life and the creepy Scientology stuff but....I think there is a lot of affection for him and of course Grease appears to be one of the most popular movies ever made every generation seems to fall in love with it and maybe him.

Whatever Poitier did in the past, he is now in his 90s and, according to someone I know who used to work for him, has dementia. She did say some negative things about him but I didn't get the impression that they rise to the level of scandalous, sounded more like typical movie star narcissism and that he wasn't great to work for after a while. She is not really a friend, more of an acquaintance I run into from time to time. Anyway, I'm guessing it's not him.

I’ve heard quite a few rumors about Hanks being a horrible and very nasty alcoholic for years. Like really bad. Also, a woman came out recently and stated that she was his sugar baby/sex slave as a teen or something of that sort. Not sure there’s any weight to it. Wasn’t Clooney into really rough sex? Also the very young men rumors from Lake Como? He’s not as beloved, however. So many are vile human beings that nothing surprises me anymore.

Robert Redford and Harrison Ford are good guesses, I agree that it's someone in this age bracket from the classic era of Hollywood. Another possibility is Warren Beatty?

Wally Cox.
by Anonymous | reply 268 | October 10, 2019 1:02 AM |
Again, as the negativity troll, no to Warren Beatty. He's kind of a dick, especially to women. Everyone knows this. He's not some icon that people would be just shocked, shocked, shocked to discover had done something nasty. It would be kind of expected actually. Redford and Harrison Ford, and very much Mark Hamill, that would actually be shocking.

I don’t think Harrison Ford would be a shocker. He’s known as an asshole/grump with a drug problem who’s banged most of his leading ladies (which is part of his appeal, don’t get me wrong) so he’s exactly squeaky clean

My vote goes to Morgan Freeman. The writer is young enough to think that the decades-old stories about him were a huge secret. Remember: Millennials recently broke the news that Brad Pitt likes to style himself to look like his girlfriends.

I think "beloved" applies more to Bill Murray than anyone else, although I'm fond of him too and hope it's not. Obviously the mother of his kids threw him out when some of his kids were quite young (6 sons IIRC!) although he moved to Charleston, SC to be close to them supposedly. I hope it's not him but he makes the most sense if it's not Hanks.

How about Ron Howard? He is beloved from the AGS. There was a BI a few years ago believed to be him that stated he was a hound dog that used his "aw shucks" demeanor to claim his wife didn't understand him to get women in bed. It also claimed he would lie to them and tell them he had never experienced such intense feelings for anyone else. I mentioned the BI on here and people didn't believe it. As someone said up thread, you don't get to the status Hanks and Howard have by being a normal, nice guy.

by Anonymous | reply 325 | October 10, 2019 10:28 PM |
I looked at all the names mentioned before a poster said the name was mentioned (about halfway through). I really hope it's not Patrick Stewart, Bill Murray, or Keanu Reeves. As someone under 40, that's what I think of with "beloved" and yes Bill Murray is beloved by Millennials. He's nostalgic for them. Sir Patrick Stewart would be horribly devastating, as would Keanu. I'm not exaggerating, those 2 would break my heart if something bad came out.
I don't think it's someone dead, but if I had to toss one in, Mr Rogers would kill people's souls.
These are the types of actors that come to mind as far as being "Beloved".
by Anonymous | reply 326 | October 10, 2019 10:51 PM |
Matt Damon would be my guess.
The only one that would truly shock me is Redford.

Being married, but fucking other women, seems to me to be too mild of a misbehavior to be called "fucked up skeletons in his closet". It has to be more than taking what's freely offered sexually. But then I didn't see what the big issue was with David Letterman.
by Anonymous | reply 328 | October 10, 2019 11:09 PM |
^ The big issue with Dave was that it was a much younger underling in his workplace, so bordered on financial coercion.
by Anonymous | reply 329 | October 10, 2019 11:48 PM |
Jeff Goldblum is a big sleaze supreme. Used to troll acting classes and "I really believe in your talent" his way into hundreds of naive girls' pantaloons. But he's too quirky and too b-list to be beloved. Also has herpes.
Ron Howard likes being a "good cop" while his "bad cops" fire people for the teeniest most arbitrary things. He cheats but nothing out of control. He's an "aw shucks" mean spirited pussy but doesn't quite fit the description. And he hasn't really been an actor in 40 years.
Anybody mention Kevin Costner? An absolute shit who'd go through two, three assistants a week after he'd pin them against the wall wanting sex.
Judges?

Jeff Goldblum isn't beloved. Most people probably don't know who he is. It has to be a nice squeaky kind of guy who everyone knows. Hanks or Fonzie are good guesses. Beloved is such a specific word that goes with a specific type of person.
by Anonymous | reply 332 | October 11, 2019 2:26 AM |

R332 Jeff Goldblum has become a weirdly popular cult figure to younger Gen Xers and millennials, I assume because of his role in Jurassic Park. There are a ton of memes about him - kind of like Chuck Norris.

[R331] We've all heard bad stuff about Costner, DeNiro, Freeman, etc but none of it really stuck. To the gen pub, they're still "beloved." I think the BI is saying some seriously dirty dirt will come out and mystery actor will be cancelled a la Spacey.

reality check here. This woman is just an attention seeker who has no direct or reliable knowledge about the secrets of any famous actor.
Having said that, literally everyon in the entertainment business has secrets, some large, some small but her tease is tiresome and she is unable to cash the checks her mouth is writing.
Btw, there are only a handful of actors who could be described as A list, let alone iconic. You are talking about a universe of no more than 10 people. Some iconic actors are no longer box office and they make up half that list. So really its like 5 people who occupy that status. She has ruled out one so lets say 4.
You can be a famous actor, a celebrated actor and a known actor but not an iconic actor. No shade here, its not a reflection of talent but of business status.

Tommy Lee Jones is a good guess......he's been famous for years and hasn't had any scandals that I can think of!

Mark Hamill? Shatner? I recall there was some question about exactly how Shatner's wife died.

Shatner is a real piece of shit. I could see him having fucked up skeletons in his past.

"I don't know, there are parts of it that ring true. It's hard to write anything that's scandalous about true icons - people don't want to believe it, so you get trashed even if what you are writing is 100% true."
Oh please. She is SJW to the core. Look at what they did to Aziz Ansari. I want more than a Twitter troll post these days.
by Anonymous | reply 415 | October 14, 2019 10:57 PM |
R415, using SJW as an insult outs you as a freeper. No one did anything to Aziz Andari except tell the truth about him. He isn't in jail. He isn't that "beloved" anyway since 90% of people haven't heard of him.
by Anonymous | reply 416 | October 14, 2019 11:28 PM |
I’d say Samuel L. Jackson is beloved.
by Anonymous | reply 417 | October 14, 2019 11:48 PM |
I don't think it could be Tommy Lee Jones, he's well-respected but I don't get the impression that many people who've met him actually *like* him. If you turn to the word "grumpy" in the dictionary his photo appears alongside the definition.

Bruce Willis did purchase gifts for some teen singer (Aaron Carter?) totalling one million dollars. How that never got more press, I'll never know.
Not sure I would call him "beloved" though.
by Anonymous | reply 425 | October 15, 2019 10:46 AM |
Cuba Gooding Jr isn't even close to beloved
by Anonymous | reply 426 | October 15, 2019 3:35 PM |
I’m not sure about a beloved actor who’s an icon, but I do know that the IT community, like software developers, etc., have been trading in varying opinions regarding MIT, Bill Gates, & Jeffrey Epstein.
I have no idea what to make of these “connections” that are floating around these names, these men, their associates, their shared curiosity regarding biotech, AI, research & development, or their philanthropic interests. It appears to go beyond & even in divergence from one another’s preferences for romantic: sexual partners, which isn’t clear that they share, or have much in common when it comes to that.
I dunno. What appears to be surfacing, however, is a trail of evidence that goes against Gates’ initial denials and explanations regarding his personal and/or business ties to Epstein.

😯
This would kinda really disappoint people, if it wasn’t nothing, & became something... I think.
by Anonymous | reply 429 | October 15, 2019 6:45 PM |
Has Bill Gates been an actor all this time? Who knew...
by Anonymous | reply 430 | October 15, 2019 6:47 PM |
Lol. Right, R430?
I think the actor title was some sort of red herring or fishing expedition. Again, I dunno. But the IT/Tech community in Seattle & Silicon Valley have certain opinions about Bill, for sure. At the end of the day, the general consensus between them is that they don’t like him, they don’t trust him, & more importantly, they don’t like or trust his close friends and associates who have been by his side from “Go”. And that’s without bring Epstein or any of his sleaze, into the picture.
by Anonymous | reply 431 | October 15, 2019 6:53 PM |
I always though it was a bit odd that Bill Gates became so concerned about the people in Africa...
by Anonymous | reply 432 | October 15, 2019 6:59 PM |
R432, you’re getting warmer...
Allegedly, this isn’t about pedophilia. It’s about hacking our genetic code, & other types of stuff, such as, arresting the development of the human body during different stages of biological life expectancy, while allowing the brain to develop completely.
The body of a child, a teen, a young adult, technically housing and possessing the mind of a fully formed and developed adult, who can legally claim complete self agency, because they’re chronologically, adults.
Interesting.

Fund, founded by Epstein & a group of anonymous, Angel investors, in order to funnel money to Joi Ito’s MIT Lab, for this special research.
Fund’s name? NEOTENY.
Google the definition of “NEOTENY”, if you’re curious.
Like I said, I dunno 🤷♀️. That’s all I’ve got.

Have we talked about Ian McKellen yet? He's VERY beloved from his roles in the Lord of the Rings, X-Men, and The Hobbit franchises. He's a double Oscar nominee and a hugely respected actor who is popular across generations (young folks seem to love him) and frequently on the talk show circuit.
There have been rumours and blind items about him for years, engaging with underage boys. He is very closely associated with the likes of Kevin Spacey and Brian Singer and attended a lot of the same parties, but it's swept under the rug somewhat.
I think a lot of people would be upset to find out the truth about him.
by Anonymous | reply 437 | October 15, 2019 8:15 PM |
Fuck off, R435. I’m not the crazy bitch you’re obsessed with, DR.
Why is it that anytime someone here posts stuff that is actually documented in and reported via the MSM, such as the NYT write up on Gates & Epstein, you immediately believe that it’s your beloved Lady of Fecal Mattered Shoes?
Hasn’t it occurred to you that perhaps, there are, at times, connections between high profiled individuals, such as the two aforementioned, that are at the very least, up for speculation and public discussion?
This has nothing to do with you. You don’t own this fucking website, and all of the sources that I’ve presented are real, with verified facts as presented via MSM publications, with real people, who’s connections to each other are also real, sustained, and independently verified repeatedly, as are things such as the MIT fund, founded by Epstein & Co., in order to research neoteny in human development.
Allegedly, Gates was at the VERY LEAST interested in learning about this research, & met with Epstein & other associates of Epstein’s, repeatedly, in order to become better informed about the R & D side of it all.
All of those things, drawn together, DO NOT offer me anything other than what is already reported: they met, various times, and Gates initially denied it, and back-tracked that denial due to the investigative reporting endeavored by journalists with the NYT.
So go and FUCK OFF with your bullshit consternation, & proclamations of “blocking” me, as if you’ve achieved some sort of moral high ground or superiority. You’ve achieved jack shit, & those who want to read what I wrote, are free to do so, & ,will, and you are free to not read it, you are free block me, and you’re not only free, but highly encouraged to FUCK OFF.

Oh bullshit. Epstein doesn't have the background to be the R&D go to guy. Gates would have had a better understanding of R&D than Epstein.

I don’t know much about Joi Ito’s personal life. Just like Gates, any others who have been ensured in some sort of PR nightmare of guilt via association , I cannot say what his motivations objectives, or goals were, when deciding to allow his lab to indiscriminately receive funding from Epstein, for his projects, while at MIT.
That said, I’ve spent several hours becoming familiar with his blog, his writing about his research, his philosophies across multi-dimensional platforms, & his questions. The same questions that those of us who have the capacity to think outside of the box, and who think beyond our own self interests, are able to articulate, and often do, whether to ourselves, or others.
He’s actually pretty fucking brilliant. Oh, and he’s a pro diver, too!
Here’s his blog:

It seems to me the sort of research Epstein was funding would be very noteworthy to anyone interested in extending lifespans and slowing aging, without the automatic "stop the clock at 14!" connotations of Epstein himself.

Ian McKellen actually makes sense. Beloved actor, beloved characters, and openly gay. If he were involved in some kind of Spacey-like scandal, it would be very hard to touch it without being thought homophobic -- or so I imagine industry people would feel.
Spacey was always cagey about his sexuality and never as much of a Hollywood insider, with powerful friends, as McKellen.

To me, beloved icons indicate the television category. Therefore, someone like: Alan Thicke, Dick Clark, or a Leave It To Beaver actor. Thicke allegedly pulled his fly down during teen pageant rehearsals, and made outright lewd comments to minor girls. The parental uproar made some minor headlines, and he was quietly ditched as an mc/host. I don’t believe much has ever been said about Michael Landon either. He was no saint.

Apparently, there may be a scandal about Goldblum brewing. This is a different person than the one in OP.
by Anonymous | reply 448 | October 16, 2019 8:29 PM |
Really? Since when has Goldblum been beloved? That Twitter feed is ridiculous. How old are these people? 10?
Everyone knows Goldblum’s a perv. He’s not a rapist, as far as we know, & I don’t recall him dating minors.
by Anonymous | reply 449 | October 16, 2019 9:00 PM |
Goldblum it is. He’s much loved and has a sleazy reputation.

Icons are Jimmy Stewart, Charlton Heston, Lucille Ball, JFK, RK, MLK, John Lennon, Prince, MJ, Mandela, Steve Jobs, etc.
Living icons? Oprah, Paul McCartney, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates. Who else?
Here’s a list from IMDB, which I think isn’t complete:
by Anonymous | reply 457 | October 17, 2019 7:51 PM |
r235 is correct. There are only a handful of "icons" and the only ones with "fucked up skeletons" in the closet would be the straight arrow , nice guy everyone loves type. Jack Nicnolson, for example is an Icon, but nobody would be surprised to learn of deviant behavior about him. I think this lady is basically full of shit. Just trying to get attention on the interweb
