Not too long ago, Garrett was staring in Mudbound and HBO’s Mosaic. Now he is being replaced and fired from shows/movies. According to this blind item, he was replaced on Castle Rock due to his drinking. He was also replaced on The Sound of Philadelphia, most likely also because of his drinking. There was another blind item recently about him showing up drunk every day on set of the movie Dirt Music. He is supposed to star in the movie The United States vs. Billie Holiday. Filming starts next month, I wonder if he’ll be fired from that too. Is his career over? What are your thoughts!
I hope not. I’m worried about him drinking himself to death. He’s very pretty and seems like a very nice person. I hope he has a resurgence soon.

It's sad to consider that both Hedlund and Jason Mitchell -- both of whom were terrific in Mudbound -- may have torpedoed their careers through bad behavior.

That explains why he’s with Emma Roberts. They both have substance abuse issues, and have that in common. He only seems to date women with substance abuse issues. First, Kirsten Dunst now Roberts.

He didn’t attend the premiere of “Dirt Music” at The Toronto Film Festival. I wonder if he was too drunk to attend. Also, he was supposed to star in “Keyhole Garden” a movie starring Zoe Saldana and directed by her husband, Marco Perego, but his name does not appear as part of the cast, which makes me wonder if he was fired from that too because of his drinking.

R3 Robert Downey Jr had a comeback because he started doing kids films (and don't give me that "marvel movies aren't kids films" bullshit because adult movies don't have copious amounts of toys to go with them). Everybody over the age of 35 knows he's a spoiled, drug addicted narcissistic closet-case prick. You can't really count it as a comeback. He made money, sure, but it's because he started targeting himself and his movies towards generations too young to remember when his mugshot was on the cover of newspapers.
