Mike Pence will have one of the shortest terms in the White House

I'm thinking probably the shortest since the 1800s. WTF does he expect to get accomplished in such a short time, maybe one year or so?

by Anonymousreply 14September 26, 2019 5:54 AM

He might have time to pack his bags.

by Anonymousreply 1September 26, 2019 2:54 AM

Who cares what he accomplishes? He would be a placeholder.

No one is going to beat Harrison’s 32 days.

Stock tip: Buy shares of JCP, 'cause you know Mother is measuring for curtains as we speak.

Less than a month? Let's hope so.

Mike Pence will never be President

by Anonymousreply 6September 26, 2019 3:04 AM

Woah woah Hold on there people. Pence only becomes president if Trump is removed by the Senate. It's a Republican run Senate and they would need 67 votes to convict and remove him, now what do you think the chances of that happening are?

by Anonymousreply 7September 26, 2019 3:05 AM

I doubt he would be elected to follow Trump. This is not a Reagan-Bush situation. Other than Carter and Bush, since Truman it's been two terms for one party and then flip to the other for two terms.

by Anonymousreply 8September 26, 2019 3:08 AM

I think folks are more expecting Trump to eventually resign rather than be convicted by the Senate.

by Anonymousreply 9September 26, 2019 3:08 AM

Trump will never resign.

by Anonymousreply 10September 26, 2019 3:10 AM

What r10 said. He will not resign or be removed from office. Even if he loses the election, he will contest the results all the way to the Supreme Court. And we know how that one will go already.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg drops dead or retires; Long Dong Silver retires... 2 more right-wing Christian Supremacists appointed to the SCOTUS for 50 years?

by Anonymousreply 12September 26, 2019 3:23 AM

You misspelled "President Pelosi" but whatevs.

by Anonymousreply 13September 26, 2019 4:59 AM

Pence is just sweating it out hoping no one realizes that he killed JonBenet.
