I feel like gay gentlemen fall into two categories when it comes to working out: those who do lots of cardio, especially on an elliptical machine (more feminine), and those who do more weightlifting or even CrossFit (more masc).
I swim, which probably falls more into the gay column. But I have a naturally bulky physique, so swimming causes me to get beefy, which looks more masc.

I swim too, but usually stick with the weights/resistance training. I don't like to run, but have tried the indoor track at my club. I detest treadmills, and stationary bikes.

I walk around the floor a couple of times and head straight to the dry sauna.
