Fadi, has then chosen not to call 999 because he knew he would probably be arrested, as it was likely him who obtained the drugs and he too would have been intoxicated. He has then waited 12 hours to claim he went back into the house and found his body!

It then took something like 4 months for the coroner to release his verdict. At which time, George's body could not be released for burial. What has happened, is the coroner has undertaken an autopsy and the cause of George's death was indeed a heart attack. However, the coroner has undertaken toxicology and would have found evidence of used substances and would then have wanted to undergo a second post mortem to establish if the use of the drugs triggered the heart attack when it actually happened. George's family have petitioned a court to allow the results of the first post mortem to be given as the cause of death. They did this, because if the coroner had done a second post mortem and given the cause of death as 'heart failure caused by drugs' George Michael would have been stamped with the classic 'died of a drugs overdose' label. In truth, he died due to other factors.

However, had the second post mortem happened and the drugs conclusion been established, Fadi would have been questioned and more details of what really happened that night would have been revealed. But the family had to chose to let that go, in favour of protecting George's memory.

There is a reason why TV shows and newspapers are not paying this guy for interviews!! They know what really happened. So much positive stuff has come out about George Michael since he died (eg how he helped people and charities), that they do not want to go there.
