But this girl was only 18 and clearly had an eating disorder (I read the Cosmo article) and she didn’t increase her calories, not knowing she was pregnant. Without prenatal care, the baby may have been very puny and sick at birth. I don’t know, I’m on the fence about whether she killed the baby - it doesn’t jibe with who she was.

Obviously, you haven't followed the story. I haven't much, but I know she saw a doctor and she knew she was pregnant. She gained weight and was rejoicing when her stomach went down after the delivery.
