I'm a 40s something married woman (and proud of it) who collects recipes, wears bedazzled sweatshirts, cooks every night for my wonderful family, and think the gays are the work of the devil. I pray for you all every night and come to DL every day so I can pray especially hard for those who present hole. When my sons do that I whip them with a switch but somehow that makes them want to to it more. Since praying away the gay doesn't work I've sought council with the Lord and he told me to give it up. So I decided to embrace you sinners and throw a Midnight Supper with the theme of Hawaiin caftans and bedazzled tiaras. Please come! It will be at Hank's Tiki Bar at 32nd and Vine, 10 PM, Saturday night. Bring your own Hawaiian themed horderves.

We're a successful professional gay couple (57 and 49), together for 15 years now without any major drama. Sex is OK but is not the main driving force of our lives - we never watched porn together and, instead, prefer crime shows on Netflix. We have a healthy mix of friends: gay couples, straight couples, single friends of either gender or sexuality. We are very much OK with social justice since we never particularly enjoyed casual racism, sexism, or homophobia. Also, our attitude toward trans people is: "live and let live".
