As long as no Glee alumnus are cast, I’m excited for the Chorus Line miniseries.

I liked A Chorus Line when I saw it 45 YEARS AGO. Plus, a 10-part series? Ugh.

I know, right?

I think he’s a genius. He knows what the majority of Americans want to watch. Before I knew who he was I came across his early show “Popular “ and I was mesmerized. I had never seen anything nearly as good on TV. I also think that a series about his life would fascinating (he shoplifted red pumps when he was a kid and his father found them). Whatever he makes I can’t wait to watch it.

am I the only one who finds his severe white crewcut annoying?

by Anonymousreply 6September 4, 2019 5:59 PM

Hard to believe "Popular" was 20 years ago.

Another fucking attempt at a Warhol project? Not one has ever worked.

by Anonymousreply 8September 4, 2019 6:26 PM

R7 Scary, actually.

I feel the Halston series will turn into a "look who's impersonating this famous person" show with lots of cameos.

Someone just make a Liza miniseries already.

I want to know how many twinks he fucked in the ass on the casting couch during production of these projects.

by Anonymousreply 11September 4, 2019 11:26 PM

Shitfest!

These all sound so boring I fell asleep reading the list.

The Warhol one has potential, but RM is so dorky he’ll suck all the cool parts out of that era and turn The Factory into a Disney ride.

by Anonymousreply 13September 5, 2019 2:13 AM

Warhol was one creepy motherfucker. Somehow I don't think that'll be in the project.

by Anonymousreply 14September 5, 2019 2:41 AM

R14 How so? I don’t know a lot about Warhol and I’m curious.

by Anonymousreply 15September 5, 2019 2:44 AM

I wanna see Lange in a sheer Jean-Louis gown.
