I just had a thought - if he was to fly anywhere else in Europe then surely it would be easier to do it from Naples rather than Venice full of paps. So, I really really liked this movie, I almost loved it. In the beginning I thought little Chalamet couldn't pull this off. The first dual, I was laughing my ass off thinking that little man could take down that crazy man-child. But wow, Chalamet can act his ass off. Pattinson gave yet another good performance. He hasn't aged a bit since Twilight.

The twist was almost predictable but ultimately executed beautifully. I think the commentary on war was extremely relevant today. I think about those that harp on America for our wars, but this movie showed the gravitational pull of conflict. Every peace has been won through blood. But honor and ego have lead to many countless wars that can be traced through little steps of aggression. When t's all said and done too many times people have to ask, what are we fighting for?

I hope Chalemet gets an Academy Award nomination for this. Obviously, the Joker has this in the bag, but the kid did great.
