Op, I had this. It turned out to be an anal cyst. I popped mine, but it got worse and started bleeding and creating puss. It got to the point where I could not walk. Ended up going to a proctologist and had to have anal surgery. No glory in this, at all. Keep it clean op, and if it gets worse go to a doctor ~ humiliating though it may be.

I have had a lot of luck with popping the pimple and then drowning it in hydrogen peroxide, that seems to dry it out very fast and heal faster than anything else I have ever tried.

R17, I share your pain. Literally. I had the same thing years ago. My situation mirrored yours - doctors, surgery, slow recovery. These things won't heal on their own. If you have a zit within an inch or two of your anus which keeps getting worse, seek medical attention. These cysts (also referred to as perianal abscess) can develop whether you're a top or bottom.

Update: I’m now constipated and my ass hurts after forcing out some poop this morning. I wonder if the constipation is related to the pimple or a separate issue. My poop was mostly normal brown but had big beige spots as well. There must be something internally off. I don’t think the pimple is there anymore but it could be. I’m scared of what I might have but I’m now uninsured after I turned 26 in May and I’m off my mom’s insurance. I can’t work so I don’t have any way to get insurance and go to the doctor. If this is a very serious issue I guess I’ll just die. I have nothing to live for anyway.
