I am raising money for living expenses.

I moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to look for work but things have not gone as well as I had planned or hoped for. I have been steadily looking for work but have been unable to find a job. I moved to Halifax to find a better life. I am gay and have cerebral palsy and growing up in a rural area wasn't always easy. I have been incredibly lucky to have so much support from so many people, but I am hoping that others might be able to help me make it until I get a job.

Moving to Halifax was an exciting opportunity, but also a risk. I am a hard worker and I have spent my whole life working to overcome my limits. Even though I have cerebral palsy, I want to show people you can achieve your dreams. Some things are more challenging. For instance, I go through shoes fairly quickly because I drag my feet due to my condition. However, I am dedicated to fitness, helping people, and making the world a better place.

I recently graduated from Acadia with an Axecess Certificate. Now, I want to give back the same way others have given back to me. I know with your help I am one step closer to doing that.

I am looking forward to finding work and contributing to making the world a better place. I am asking for help with covering my costs for rent, food, and incidentals while I look for work. My costs are not very high, but I am not sure when I will get a job. Soon, I will soon need new shoes. I also won't have a computer after this month. I don't have a family doctor in Halifax and have to travel back to the valley for medical appointments. I am running out of funds and I need help as soon as possible.

Some of you, especially R5, need some education. I suggest checking out "Special" on Netflix about a gay man with CP. Episodes are 15 minutes long and its a comedy so it shouldn't be to hard going down and maybe you won't be as ignorant. There's a sex scene with Brian Jordan Alvarez, so you have that to look forward to since that seems to be an important part of the equation.
