R8, I haven’t seen that documentary but a friend was telling me about it today at lunch and he said the exact same thing. He wasn’t aware of this “chosen one” remark but he mentioned the documentary going on about certain people being chosen by God and thus can get away with things others can’t.

Like I’ve been saying for 4 years: Trump is a megalomaniac and a sociopath who suffers from syphillitic dementia.

He's the Chosen One? Good. Someone just needs to get to higher ground, and then chop his legs off.

When he gave the “chosen” remark to the press earlier today, he looked heavenward as if seeking affirmation from God that he was correct in his assessment. Pity that there was no lightning strike on the White House lawn at that moment.

His gesture also makes his intentions unmistakable.

But if Trump is removed we could have Satan himself Mike Pence, as President for the remainder of Trump's term, plus 8 years if voted in twice.

Pence could never rouse the rabble.

This was crazy and frightening.

During that speech, he did that trademark thing where he spoke in sound bites. IIRC:

Wtf with saying that about Putin and Obama? Why?

I find it so hysterical that so many of the things the right complained about during the Obama Presidency are becoming true during the Trump Presidency. The right complained the left worshiped Obama and we treated him like a messiah, but that is what they are doing to Trump. The right complained that Obama was destroying America, but that is Trump is doing now. The right complained that Obama wanted to be king, but that is now what Trump would love to be and sometimes acts like. The right went nuts about the debt, they formed the TEA (taxed enough already) now they are silent about the even worse debt. The right complained that the US wasn't respected around the world, now we are even less respected. They called Obama a muslim or a muslim sympathizer, while Trump lets Saudi Arabia and the UAE do anything they want, even hack to death a US reporter.

R24, Trump wants to readmit Russia to the G7/G8. It was thrown out for its Ukraine invasion and Crimea annexation. So, if he can lie about it, and cast it as a result of Obama incompetency, he thinks that’s somehow convincing. He didn’t blame Russia, though.

France has already vetoed the idea of readmitting Russia, so that’s going no where. Could someone really be as stupid as he is, to suck up to Russia? It just seems that he’s a Russian asset, but maybe he’s just very stupid?

R24, the weird thing, one of them I mean, is Trump said that Putin put one over on Obama, when in fact, Putin is putting one over Trump. It’s just so strange. Too bad Trump isnt younger. I’d like to see him rot in jail for 50 years.

Fast forward and now we have Trump, born in the east, a leader who is destroying democracy and anointing himself King and savior.

The only thing trump takes seriously are affronts to his ego. I guess that's a symptom of his NPD. So he strikes me as the type that would say "I am the chosen one" not seriously, because nothing about being president is serious for him. That evangelicals probably took it seriously and agreed is the real craziness.

I think the one thing Scaramucci (sp?) got right is that trump doesn't see people as people. Everything and everyone is just an object to him.
