I've had the same fuck buddy for a year, but I'm concerned we're moving past fuck buddy status.

How long can you remain a fuck buddy with someone you essentially live together 3-4 days a week? Are we deluding each other and already in an uncommitted relationship?

I've had fuck buddies, I think it's a great system personally. None of them started out as agreeing to be fuck buddies - just random hookups where we both wanted repeat sessions. It's the best way to have casual sex IMO because you limit the numbers of guys you're hooking up with and you know it's going to be good (anyone you have an initial bad hookup with is unlikely to become a fuck buddy as the whole point is that you liked it enough to go back for more).

Never caught feelings for any of the guys I had as fuck buddies, it helped that one of them I didn't particularly like as a person (not that he was a bad guy just didn't feel the need to hang out with him in a non-sexual context) and one of them had a bf (open) so was just looking for some regular action on the side.

Fuck buds are nice and used to be less drama—but with apps now, the casual hookup is a major negotiation. It used to be less hassle and not so complicated. Not now.

Also, less people have their own place, so finding a place to play is not as easy. Recently I was heading over to a dude’s house to play and while on my way to his place, he all but put out an Amber Alert to stop me from coming over because supposedly his housemate came home.
