TBT 2010: La Toya's reunion with Bubbles. Do you think he remembered her?
It seems debatable to me
Her voice still sounds like it did back in the 80s as she hasn't developed "old lady voice" yet. She had already had her nose job back in the early 80s so while she looks older, she doesn't look drastically different. The biggest physical change from when Bubbles last saw her is that she wears much lighter colored hair these days as she used to wear black hair.
Chimps do have a much better audio and visual memory than other animals and they also have great sense of smell.
He didn't seem to have sustained interest in her though. It's hard to tell if he was curious in someone "different" or if he remembered her.

I think it's cute that she thinks Bubbles being raised around the Jackson family would make him smarter than other chimps. The Jackson family has raised no one's IQ ever, not even a chimp's.

The original Bubbles is still alive? I thought Bubbles died more often while still being Michael Jackson's number one accessory than Snowball on The Simpsons.

R3 not sure about now but in 2010 when this was filmed yes he was alive. He was born in 1983
