I was watching some old Craig Ferguson episodes on YouTube and came across a couple of them with Amanda Peet. It made me recall when Howard Stern tore her to shreds for laughing her way through an interview when she was promoting a low-budget movie she'd done on David Letterman. I noticed she did the same thing in the Ferguson interviews—could hardly speak without laughing, often silently, mouth agape. It could just be an affect, or she is just really terrible at doing interviews. Is she actually worthy of such contempt?
She's married to David Benioff and apparently spent lots of time sharing gossip with CDAN about the entire Thrones cast.

I always think of her - and honestly only think of her - from the movie Igby Goes Down. She payed a high class heroin junkie dating a rich sugar daddy. Very convincing.

She was memorable in Igby Goes Down, R2, but in general I find her a pretty boring actress. The only other thing I recall seeing her in was Identity, which was a decent thriller, and she again played a call-girl in it.

I loved her in Brockmire. That’s such a wonderfully underrated show.

Meh. Good thing she married well.

She was great in the Mark Duplass series that ended abruptly. And she was also good in Brockmire, which was overall an impressive series.
No idea what she was thinking with that stupid laugh but look on the bright side: maybe she was wasted.

She was obnoxious on “WWHL” with cunt Debra Winger, cackling and mugging.

She played a totally believable controlling bitch on Saving Silverman

She was awful in the awful miniseries, The Romanoffs, on Amazon.

Agreed, R9. Amanda Peet’s episode of “The Romanoffs” was a weak one, and she was dreary in it.

I haven't thought about Amanda Peet in so long. Totally forgot about her.
