Bond was one of many actors who went on to be cast on Santa Barbara. I tried getting into that show, but I'd tune in and it seemed like this odd 'all-stars of soaps' series: OLTL's Mimi, AMC's Liza, GH's Jimmie Lee and Heather and Celia, AW's Robert Delaney, GL's Rita Stapleton Bauer... it was a mish mash.

Compare that to B&B, which, yes, had Flannery and McCook, but most of the young cast were unknowns. That can work.

He did that nude layout back in the days when male stars were being hoodwinked into thinking if they got naked it would make their movie careers go wild. I don't think it actually helped a single star's career, and in fact did more to hurt them. Burt Reynolds was smart not to let Cosmo publish the full nudes they took of him, so his layout may have actually helped him.
