TMZ is now reporting that today’s rumours are untrue, but his daughter states that he is suffering from Alzheimer’s.

Just saw a commercial for the upcoming season of Survivor (starts 9/25) and they're bringing back Rob and Amber, that couple that fell in love and got married after being on season together back in 2004. She ended up winning the million dollars and CBS milked their "love story" to death. A&R have been on at least 2-3 times since then and after what, 14 years, they're trying again.
The commercial showed these big stone idol-like heads of A&R and the theme is this crop of contestants are on "Idol Islands", like A&R have earned this status from back in the day and are idols in their own right. From what I remember of them, neither was that interesting - Amber was very subdued and introverted and visual wallpaper. This will probably be a mess.

Jeff Probst/Survivor have the biggest hard on for Bahstin Rhab -- took him what, 4 seasons until he was finally handed $1M. Zero desire to see that homophobic cunt on my tv.

R6 here:
I obviously didn't pay attention to the whole commercial - I saw Rob and a woman and I guess the voiceover didn't register. That's NOT Amber - it's Sandra, the Latina who won the big prize two times on the show.

It's so funny to see this thread. I reluctantly ordered a month of CBS All Access when AT&T and CBS were being dicks to one another...and CBS was removed from AT&T lineup. Anyway, they have ALL the Survivor seasons (and all episodes) on All Access. I was watching some of the old seasons that I loved so much. Outback has to be my favorite. As for Boston Rob...what a fucking homophobe. He called John a "qwee-ah" (queer) and said something else equally disgusting. I can't believe, even in 2001, he got away with that and CBS aired that shit.
