Some of the most homely looking people I ever see end up having more than 2 kids. I just don't understand what compels ugliness to be attracted to ugliness and then breed more ugliness?
Why do ugly people have more kids?

Most people aren't that deep. People have sex cause it feels good, and end up having babies because they aren't careful enough with contraception. Its not a conscious decision to spread good or ugly looks.

There's something validating about spreading your inferior looks (and genes, generally). Parents don't look at their spouses and especially not their own children and think, objectively: wow--we have a tendency toward obesity. And bad skin. And no jawline. Quite the reverse.
Having more children "normalizes" your own obesity, bad skin, weak jaw, etc. Seeing it in your offspring makes these things lovable, even adorable.
Lack of intelligence and/or taste just exacerbates matters.
Too bad for the rest of us.

Ask your mum, OP.

My mom hated the way she looked, and she had been called "ugly" by other people, even as a little girl. She was obsessed with the idea of having kids, probably a psychological thing of wanting unconditional love. So, she married someone who looked as different as possible from her. It didn't really help me that much. Even before I knew I was a lesbian, I knew that I would never have kids; I wouldn't want to watch them go through all the bullying that I endured.
