Democratic nominees polling vs Trump, general election
Starting early, but it should be interesting to watch the polling change. Top five only for each post. Numbers from RCP.
7/18/19, [Candidate] vs Trump:
Biden +8.5
O'Rourke +6.6
Sanders +4.8
Booker: +3.0
Warren +2.5
(Gillibrand's polls on RCP are actually pretty strong against Trump, but they're all from PPP and there hasn't been an update since January)

It will not be interesting to watch the polling. After 2016 you actually believe this shit?

O'Rourke is really +6.6 over Trump? That doesn't make sense since he's so far down in the polls among Dem candidates.

Why is Liz Warren always so close? 2.5? You might as well give that to Trump.

These national matchups are meaningless at this point, what with only 12% or so of Democrats settled on a candidate and most of them not engaged with the election cycle yet. Watch early primary state polls from reputable pollsters instead.

R2 is a breathless poll watcher.

Who the hell are they polling?
Ninety-eight percent of potential voters don't know O'Rourke from Adam and those that do think he's a dork.

Polls mean nothing when your candidate is tanking.

These are national election polls. The dem candidates polls are usually limited to registered Democrats.
