if the authors argument is that it is perfectly acceptable and fine for gay men to say the kind of things that were said in the original article then that is fine. What Peck did was tell straight readers that it was ok to be uncomfortable with Buttigieg because he is gay—in fact, he confirmed that it was ok to distrust Buttigieg and not vote for him because he is gay. It’s perfectly fair, indeed necessary, to criticize him for doing that.

At Gawker, Caity Weaver was hilarious, and so was Brian Moylan. Rich Juzwiak was never funny or insightful. I can't believe that he and that cow Lindy West have been able to sustain themselves as writers.
