You guys will make me watch this movie. It looks like something that would be right up my alley: a trashy 80s movie with some artistic aspirations, a B-list cast, etc. Should I bother?

I remember when this came out on VHS--it was very popular with kids at my high school. My friend's family owned a video store in our small town, and they kept having to order more copies because people were always asking for it, and a lot of copies were never returned.

I had a friend in college who loved this movie as much as I did. We both pretended it was because Sherilyn is so hot in it. She us, but it was Tyson all the way. We came out to each other a few years later over the phone - me in Los Angeles and him in Chicago. He and I could have had so much fun together if one of us had the balls to make a move. I should have popped the tape into the VCR instead of loaning it to him. Oh, well.
