Quite a few top American actors appear on commercials here in England. I guess they think it doesn't matter if it appears here, it won't ruin their reputation/ devalue them in America. It sort of bugs me.

I don’t think it’s embarrassing that these Mostly B- list celebs are willing to do commercials although I think the John Goodman one is pathetic and a sad one was Orson Welles looking like a bloated whale and selling cheap wine was a very sad thing.
