Jodi Arias

I kind of feel bad for her. Yeah she was crazy but that Mormon guy was playing with her emotions. She was obviously emotionally fragile he should have been kinder.

OP, are you feeling stabby at the moment? A feeling of kinship with her? You can tell us, we're all friends here.

You and Jodi should watch Midsommar together, OP.

I know a lot of DLers hate astrology, but Jodi is a Cancer, and they are known to commit the most murders of any zodiac sign—mostly all crimes of passion involving a lover or spouse. Because they are hypersensitive/hyper-emotional and invest every fiber of their being when they're in relationships, betrayals can send them off the deep end. Travis was a Leo, and Leos are known to be outwardly cocky, while internally very insecure. It's not a good combo.

He didn't deserve to die, but he kind of brought it on

He met a crazy chick, who buy all accounts was crazy chick. He led her on and allowed her to believe the relationship was going somewhere, he degraded her and just used her for sex. No one could have predicted what happened, but when you discard someone like they are garbage, you run the risk of getting killed

The thing is, when you fuck with someone and their emotions, they just might fuck back

Agree r6

She knew he was a hypocritical a-hole but she kept going back. Having your emotions toyed with does not justify committing a heinous, grisly murder and then lie and say you were a victim of domestic violence and then seize upon your sentencing hearing to make the claim that you are selling domestic violence "message" t-shirts in order to raise money for charity and then have that turn out to be complete bullshit.

There are male rapists who go for the "nerd defense" where they try to look like an nerdy egghead in order to look more innocent. Arias tried for the mousy woman defense.

She was bottle-blonde ho' bag when she was fucking her victim and then shows up in court looking like she she took top prize at the Homeliest Librarian Pageant which was sponsored by the Old Maids Association of America and where she got the edge over the other contestants during the Bespectacled and Frumpy competition.

Didn't work. Rot in prison Jodi. Maybe there is a Sociopaths Who Love to Knit club you can join. (But make sure that's okay with the Queen Bee you are servicing every single night first.)

by Anonymousreply 8July 7, 2019 8:02 PM

Fuck her to hell, all the way to hell.

by Anonymousreply 9July 7, 2019 8:29 PM

R9 That's probably her most favorite sexual fantasy of all.

by Anonymousreply 10July 7, 2019 9:04 PM

[quote]who buy all accounts was crazy chick.

Oh, dear!

by Anonymousreply 11July 7, 2019 9:36 PM

[quote]he degraded her and just used her for sex.

I got the distinct impression it was a dom/sub relationship.

by Anonymousreply 12July 7, 2019 9:37 PM

Eat shit, OP.

by Anonymousreply 13July 7, 2019 9:38 PM

She was a psycho.

He was not responsible for her murdering him.

She had free will and could have left at any time. Unless you're asserting that he held her captive, she had many choices besides murder.

He may or may not have been a jackass, but blaming the victim for being murdered is asinine.

I immediately thought Jodi Arias was a sociopath. I did watch a lot of the trial coverage, including JA testifying on the witness stand. The jurors deadlocked twice during the penalty phase, sparing JA from the death penalty. The foreman (a man) did believe that Travis Alexander mentally abused JA.

[quote] The foreman of an Arizona jury that deadlocked over whether Jodi Arias should be put to death for murdering her ex-boyfriend believes she was mentally abused, but said on Friday that had not been enough to excuse her crime.

Travis Alexander did not deserve to be murdered (especially like that), but he was obviously playing with fire. JA was obviously a jealous stalker. I do think TA was a religious hypocrite. The sex with JA must have been mind-blowing for him to keep going back for more.

Now come on - who amongst us hasn't crawled through an ex's doggie door, then been awkwardly discovered hiding behind their Christmas tree?

Travis Alexander sounded like your typical religious hypocrite. Hiding behind his supposed beliefs and acting like a narcissistic douche behind closed doors. Jodi is a nut job, but he was obviously not the Saint his friends try to sell us.

Doesn't matter what he was unless you believe in putting the victim on trial.

Doesn't matter if he were the biggest hypocrite or most pious saint.

Whatever so-called "mental abuse" he might have heaped on her is irrelevant since she was free to leave at any time. They weren't married, there were no kids that she was protecting, and she wasn't dependent on him financially.

by Anonymousreply 18July 7, 2019 11:35 PM

R18 who is putting the victim on trial? He seemed like a hypocrite, a bigot and a douche bag. His old Myspace posts were proof of that. Nobody said he deserved to be murdered by a creepo for being a dick.

by Anonymousreply 19July 8, 2019 12:09 AM

In news stories, Travis Alexander was described as a "motivational speaker." However, his other job was in multi-level marketing, Prepaid Legal Services ("PPL"), now known as LegalShield.

Murder victim Shanann Watts (Chris Watts) was involved in an MLM "Le-Vel Thrive" (caffeine patches) company.

They were both shallow jerks. She seems smarter and more insecure than him. Troubles ensue.
