I think Charlie Heaton is one of the ugliest actors working today. He looks like a fucking nocturnal ghoul. How he was cast as a romantic lead is beyond me but it's one of the things that makes the show unwatchable for me. Miss Bobbie Brown being the other.

The fact that STRANGER THINGS casts ugly or ordinary-looking people is a virtue and credit to the show.

It makes the show relatable to more people as well as more realistic.

They need ugly characters to conflict with Steve, Billy, etc.

They cast a majority of plain-looking youngsters with a few hot ones mixed in and TONS of ‘80s shows took the same tact.

Why bother watching after they killed off Dacre Montgommery? There's no one left on that series who is remotely good looking. Millie Bobby Brown and that gayling, Noah Schnapp are insufferable.

Schnapp is the best child actor on the show.
