Why do people do this? The implication is that she is clearly lesbian or bisexual. Why not just say so? I don't understand this kind of mincing of words. It's an open secret that she dated Carrie Cuntstein. It frustrates me when LGBT people pull this kind of indirect, wishy-washy shit in interviews and can't just own themselves.

It's fucking annoying and sort of insulting to the gay community at large when LGBT people provide answers like this. We can read between the lines of what she said, so the fact that she just didn't say it seems cowardly.

Yes she's a lesbian. She's also a tv actress who wants to work and not be labeled as THE LESBIAN when she goes up for a part. She'll finish coming out when she's 40 and can't play sexy leading ladies anymore.
(yes there are a some exceptions, but not really many and not for long, 40 is the standard sexy cut-off for American actresses)

She's always struck me as being low-key gay. I went to Fordham, and her name was thrown around among the famous alumni that students liked to champion (better than sir Donald Trump, that's for sure). I wonder if she was dating girls back in college? Any stories?
