Craig as Bond has killed my interest in the films.

I’ve seen two of his Bond films in theaters (and tried *so* hard to like them) but I’m done now.

His acting is flat, he looks like a troll doll to me in the face, and he doesn’t have the movie star “charisma” to make up the difference.

I haven’t enjoyed Bond since he has been in it. At least those Pierce movies were fun camp; the Craig films have been beyond boring.

He looks like crap in a suit too, hardly elegant---and when the camera is shooting the back of his head, all I can see are those big pink ears sticking out like signal lights.

Grace should have been grateful for any high profile gig---I actually thought she was dead long ago.

When Bond actors threaten to leave the Bond franchise it's all a salary negotiation ploy. I believe the only time it backfired was with Pierce Brosnan who didn't get what he wanted, but then there were other problems that put a stop to the Bond franchise for a little while.

Somewhat off topic, but contrary to some opinions, I liked Timothy Dalton as Bond.

She always was one ugly bitch, and that sex scene she had with Roger Moore was hilarious.

The best part of that bond movie she did is when she finally got blown up on the railway cart.

I'm already hating that they're killing off Madeleine Swann in this next Bond. The Broccolis are killing off all the women James Bond loved - Tracy, M, Vesper Lynd and now Madeleine.

r50, The Living Daylights is probably one of the best Bond films, but Licence To Kill is probably the worst since it didn't feel like a Bond movie (with him going full on rogue and it was visually more violent than all the others).

R56 - someone upthread said that she did have the script already, but there had been some rewrites since then and her part was reduced from the original script she read. I mean, that does happen. Even to legit film actors who work far more regularly than she does. I think she should have swallowed her pride and still done it... she would have gotten so much buzz for it and probably sold a bunch more concert tickets off of the millions of dollars of worth of earned media her appearance would have generated.

I like Craig in the role a lot but Casino Royale is still the only good Bond film he’s done. Skyfall was ok if you totally shut your brain off (the plot makes shockingly little sense) but the other two are cringe bad.

Grace needs to sing the next Bond theme.

That's true, R74, but she's definitely mellowed in her old age, R74. The idea of her recording a Bond tune at this point is ridiculous. But she certainly remains a fantastic live performer. Seen her in concert a couple of times in the US since 2009 and she has undeniable stage presence and still sang very well. No, she's not a powerhouse vocalist, she never was, but she was still impressive.

R8 The only reason why producers stick to the same actor is money, not laziness. Craig has proven to be a box office draw in the Bond films so why would they take a chance on new face while the old one is still willing and able.
